Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Tucker County

Rebekah’s place was beautiful! A great location to relax and not too far from some good food/coffee and plenty of outdoor activities. She was very responsive and helpful - and we really enjoyed it

This was my second stay at Mike's place and everything was just as good as my first stay. The location is great and close to many local sites and activities. The view of the mountain is gorgeous and so peaceful and relaxing. The house is very comfortable and nice inside with many thoughtful touches throughout. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

We really loved our stay in this beautiful house with the natural surroundings. It was really nice to have lots of windows and doors to enjoy the natural lighting and the breeze through the trees. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were nicely done and had good counter space and storage for our stay. I loved having the closet and dresser in the primary bedroom, which allowed me to put away my clothes. The furniture and lighting was tasteful and added to our stay. The fireplace and sauna were nice accessories. The EV charger was wonderful for us to have and really made our stay much more convenient. We would 1000% stay here again!

The home has lots of character and charming details. We enjoyed our time and loved cooking together. The living space is open, inviting, and relaxing. It was a great family atmosphere. The tree swing and fire pit were fun. The shower being on the first floor separate from the bedrooms upstairs was unexpected but didn't cause any problems for our group. Also, whoever sleeps in the tree house room should know they'll need to descend a ladder to use the bathroom. This house is super great and the mountains surrounding are breathtaking. We would definately stay again.

Nice house in a great location. Close to downtown Davis and activities at Canaan resort. Kid friendly space upstairs. The kitchen has the necessities for cooking and is open to the living room. The host is responsive and was easy to communicate with.

Definitely strongly considering coming back. Dolly Sods nearby is great. House is at end of road, very private, beautiful stars, wonderful wind/rain/snow in the trees. Exceptionally spacious. Hot tub is great. Hot water heater broke while we were there and she gave us a discount without asking. Fusball table is a plus. Recommend.

This is a real gem. What a wonderful trip for us with Black Diamond house. Brian and co hosts were very responsible and thoughtful fantastic hosts. House is super clean, modern, newly renovated, great view and beautiful surroundings, quiet peaceful safe full of decorations and amenities including warm jacuzzi with peaceful heavenly neighbors. Dream came true in New Virginia. Lots of things to do in the nature also. I would definitely come back to Brian’s place.

Absolutely loved our stay at Vince’s property! From the start, communication was smooth and timely—Vince was a fantastic host. Everything was exactly as expected, and the home truly felt like a cozy, peaceful escape. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the bonus entertainment of watching deer roam freely across the hills all day was pure magic. Vince really thought of everything—it was well-stocked, comfortable, and felt like a true home away from home. Just the reset we needed. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Staying here was an absolutely peaceful and relaxing experience. From the minute we arrived we felt more than at home, it was perfectly clean and felt very cozy. The extra touches of complimentary cinnamon swirl bread, popcorn and much more made for a very relaxing experience. It was great to spend some much needed time away hiking in some of the local parks. It was a cute little carriage house apartment. The jetted tub was nice, it had a coffee pot and blackout curtains. Though we didn’t use it, there were EV charging stations and worth noting. It’s about 5 miles from Oakland proper and 10 miles from the touristy part of Deep Creek, so close enough but far away enough. If you are looking for a place to get away with amazing views and to check out from the real world, this is the spot. Kam was responsive when we did message her. Definitely would recommend.

The Lucky Duck is a very calm and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed the views and the local population of ducks and geese who welcomed us as we came and went. The place was spotless & spacious and had all the little things we needed for a great visit. Would highly recommend booking.

Stay here! Super comfortable bed, quiet and safe neighborhood, 2 TVs, really cute special touches around, no complaints whatsoever! Easy check in with keypad, friendly host.

This is a very nice unit in a perfect location. It felt much larger than we expected based on the listing -- it is large for a 2 bedroom place. The front living room/sitting room area was very spacious and has super comfy chairs and couches. Lots of windows and light as well. Kitchen is modern and clean and has all the basics for simple cooking. Location is perfect for seeing Thomas without getting in the car -- coffee shop right downstairs. Lots of hiking options nearby. We will rent it again if we come back to Thomas. Debbie is a great host. Our car battery was dead when we were ready to depart, but she had someone helping us get it started within minutes. Above and beyond helpful.
