What a beautiful little slice of the yarra valley. The heating was very efficient, it was icy overnight and we had no idea. We woke to kangaroos outside the window each morning. The caretakers lodge was much closer to the accommodation than I expected, however they were very helpful and friendly and I didn't see them apart from when I checked in. The house is stunning. The view from the huge windows is lovely. It felt very luxurious and was a lovely place to stay after getting married. I would absolutely recommend Kangaroo Manor to others, and I'd love the opportunity to stay there again one day. The hosts were very proactive, kind, and professional, and gave me the impression that I could contact them at any time. Thank you for a very memorable experience.

Amelia’s space was so beautiful and felt very homey. It was spotless and felt very clean and well maintained. Super close to the beach, cafes and hot springs but at the same time felt very quiet, peaceful and private. Amelia and her co host were very responsive and fast to reply to any questions we had before as well as during our stay. Such a gorgeous place to stay for a nice getaway ☺️

Absolutely loved this place! Only a few minutes from the town shops, with undercover parking and easy access. Place is kept in immaculate condition, and very well maintained. Everything you’ll need is provided. Thank you Gil, will definitely be back!

The house and surrounding property was better than we imagined. It was one of the most beautiful houses we have stayed in, and the view from the living area was breathtaking. We didn’t go anywhere all weekend because the house was so relaxing and comfortable and all we wanted to do was look out the windows at the ocean. Beautifully designed with every space feeling calm, homely and luxurious. The natural light is superb both upstairs and downstairs. The downstairs bed was incredibly comfortable - we did not try the one upstairs, but we loved the room and the space. The writers nook was absolutely gorgeous - it really inspired me, I loved it. Fiona and Dave have thought of everything for a unique stay where vintage and modern design are woven together to create a home filled with art and beautiful pieces everywhere. Close to south Melbourne market for shopping, and an ideal location for coffee and patisseries. I look forward to our next stay. Thank you!

This accomdation is magical and peaceful and well worth going too. From the moment you go through the door ambient music and freshly made bread and some bubbly await you! Libby and Ana are warm and responsive hosts who have built a beautiful little sanctuary in Toruqay. The property was secluded but also close to town. From the homemade cookies to the comfy linens, everything has been thoughtfully picked out to create a cozy space.

Sarah’s place is a good find. Conveniently located near downtown Melbourne. She was very responsive. Incredible views of downtown Melbourne from her place. You have to pick up the key from a local grocery store (which worked fine) and there is only one key, but overall the stay was great. Excellent swimming pool and gym. Recommend staying here! Good value!

This place is a gem 💎 nestled down the end of a quiet street surrounded by trees and nature. It was so very peaceful. The interiors were lovely, it was clean and cosy. I loved how light filled the space was and the view out to the courtyard. It was an easy walk down to the Main Street. I would highly recommend booking.

This accommodation is a gem! It’s incredibly cozy, truly feeling like a home away from home. Host Janette is outstanding—friendly, quick to respond, and always supportive. The place is beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. The bed is super comfortable, and the sea view is breathtaking, especially during sunset. It’s the perfect, relaxing spot to unwind. I’m definitely coming back for a longer stay!

Andrew was the perfect host - he was super helpful, responsive and offered to stay up late in case I had issues getting in, given my late arrival time. Communication was great and very open to helping where possible. The apartment itself was lovely and views were fantastic being on the top floor. You could still hear a lot of the traffic and trams however so perhaps bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper but otherwise not a big deal, just one of the things about being in an urban area. I was there for work so was a very quick stay but it was a close walk for where I needed to be which was great, thanks for having me Andrew and being a fantastic host!

We had a wonderful stay! The place is cozy, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The location is perfect — close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. The view from the apartment is absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning. Everything was clean and well maintained. We would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Sheryl is the best host I have dealt with this far. She replies to you within minutes which I have found other hosts can take up to 6-7 hours to reply. Her place was the cleanest I’ve stayed at this far. To sum it up there’s nothing I could complain about at all. The property was great actually the outdoor area was better and bigger than it looked in the pics. Great place with a great host.

I’m glad to have stayed at Aster’s place once again—this time at a different listing. The location was incredibly convenient, situated right opposite Southern Cross Station, which made getting to and from the airport a breeze. With trams just around the corner, exploring the city was easy and accessible. It was a smooth and pleasant stay overall, and I’ll happily choose Aster’s place again the next time I’m in Melbourne.

From the moment you walk through the door of Julies Airbnb it was welcoming and cosy. The view from the balcony was great to wake up to and the location was central enough to be within walking distance to all the great cafes and shops. Highly recommended, Julie is a great host.
