Cottage near a farm above Gersau on lake Lucerne (1100 m.a.s.l.). Good for hiking, montain bike tours and a digital detox getaway. Other leasure activities on and around lake Lucerne are also possible. Schwyz and Lucerne are reachable via boat or car. The cottage can be reached within 15 minutes by car from Gersau. Please note: it is a mountain road, which means it is curvy, steep and with only one lane with the possibility of turning out at regular intervals in the event of oncoming traffic.

BnB has two twin rooms, a small living room, two showers and two toilets on the 2nd floor. The entire floor is private, so you won’t share it with anyone. There is no kitchen but a mini refrigerator, a microwave and a water pot are ready to use. Free continental breakfast will be served every morning. Access by car is not possible in winter. If it snows, you can take a sleigh or skis from the village directly to the house. We rent a cozy house with a large terrace in the rustic Muotathal. All infrastructure is available. Very family-friendly (no traffic) located in the agricultural zone, yet within five minutes of the village center with shopping and public transport. Ideal for families and sports enthusiasts, in winter ski tours, sledding with huskies and skiing in the nearby ski resort of Stoos. Cross-country and snowshoe trails right by the house. In summer, it is a hiking paradise.

The house is located at almost 1000 m above sea level and is very quiet. You have a wonderful view of Lake Sihl. The nearby forest offers plenty to discover. Lake Sihl is suitable for swimming and also for fishing. The nearby Hochybrig ski and hiking area can be reached in about 12 minutes by car. Other excursion destinations are described in the accommodation. The pilgrimage village of Einsiedeln with its world-famous monastery is in close proximity.

A good bed awaits you and a warm stove lets you comfortably enjoy the time you spend with us. The house in the greenhouse is very well insulated and has a nice large wood-burning stove and a small electric stove. The walls are open with many windows. For privacy, it has thick curtains everywhere.
