Our stay has been wonderful. The apartment is very good, 5 minutes' walk from the city center. We were greeted by Philippe and Florence who were very flexible and responsive. The apartment is very clean with the beds made, towels included, it's really great! There is everything we need: dishwasher, washing machine, wifi... We even received small gifts from them. I highly recommend booking with Philippe and Florence, you won't be disappointed!

Christina is a great host. She is very friendly, gives good tips and makes you feel at home. The fact that she speaks multiple languages is a great bonus. We will go back one day.

This was one of the best places we've stayed. The host was excellent at communicating before, during, and after our stay; she went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with our stay. She has arranged the living space well given the room she had to work with, and everything was spotlessly clean. She has flowers and other plants near the front door that make the outdoor table setting elegant for a morning cup of coffee or tea. The clothes dryer was a big plus for us, and the WiFi worked perfectly. The apartment is close to the train station and bus stop. The neighborhood is quiet and clean, and a well stocked grocery store (Migros) and bakery (Juliette) are close by. I would gladly recommend this listing to anyone visiting Zurich or its western suburbs.

Great location, peaceful surroundings with nature around. There are walkable trails close to the location in the forest and nearby fields, specifically the Klingenbachschlucht area. In the neighboring city of Wangen, you can take a stroll along the lake, near the Wangen campground, where you can also find an open library cabin set up in a red English phone box. At the town hall, you can receive tickets for bus rides, and the expenses will be covered by the owner.

I felt very comfortable in the quiet, small apartment, nice, secluded terrace space and great starting point for interesting excursions in the area. I'd love to come back.

We stayed in Engen for 4 days with the family in May 2024 as a starting point for various activities in the Lake Constance region. We felt super comfortable in the lovingly and high-quality renovated house - everything you need is there, everything new and modern! Also our children loved the house, there is a games room and some toys (tipi, duplo, board games etc). The terrace is also very nice! We will definitely be back if we go back to the region!!

Check-in was very flexible and easy thanks to the videos sent. The house can accommodate plenty of room. We were 12 people (6 adults and 6 children) The amenities left nothing to be desired. Fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, large bathroom (and there were more than enough hand and bath towels) the house is very nice and modern, and everything was very clean. Trampoline, sandbox and other toys for the children. Very quiet location, beach within walking distance. A big thank you to the owner who is always available and very friendly. We would definitely recommend it.

The house with garden is wonderful. Communication is excellent. There is a lot to discover in the area, even without a car. Everything as you dream of going on vacation.

New and clean accommodation, easy to access and in a quiet environment. It is in a great location for visiting Colmar and its surroundings. Laure was very accommodating despite our late arrival. I would recommend this Airbnb 100%, thank you

Excellent stay in a very nice welcoming house and faithful to the description with delicate attention upon arrival (apple juice and Alsatian cake). Very good quality bedding in the 3 bedrooms. Cozy comfort and a charming host. Another big thank you Sloane for leaving us the house for a few more hours following the breakdown of our vehicle. A nice place to share.

We loved staying at Joel’s place. Cosy, with lots of interesting art. Unique space but you feel right at home. We enjoyed watching the thunderstorm one night through the large windows and relaxing with some wine and local produce. Would stay again!

Karin is a great host. She is very friendly, was waiting for us at the train station and drove us to the apartment. On the way she pointed out the grocery stores, bakery and cafés. The apartment is clean with modern appliances and is a perfect size for 2 people. A 24-hour transport ticket allowed us to travel to Zürich by train (15 minute trip) or by ship (20 minute sail -very pleasant). The train also goes directly to the airport without needing to transfer. We would definitely stay here again!

A very cosy place in a cosy village just outside Zurich - ideal to explore both the city and the marvels of the mountains. Railway station is just around the corner, as is the lake with a marvelous view. The house has absolutely everything a family might need. The garden is so nice to sit out and enjoy the view to the lake.

The apartment was fantastic. Contrary to many other places I have been, it was heated from the start, so the arrival late in a cold night was very comfortable. The place is really good. I could work in a very spacious working space. The kitchen had everything. René was kind enough to allow me to use basic stuff, like oil and sugar, so I could cook without needing to buy everything. I had a couple of questions for René who replied to me straightaway in very precise and polite maners. The main space was looking the Rhine and it was fantastic to have breakfast or dinner there. The location is wonderful, with views over the Rhine and the other side of the river, with boats passing by, and enjoying Basel at its heart. I am very grateful to René and I am looking forward my next trip to Basel to ask him again to stay there.

This is a very beautiful and sparkling clean apartment; we felt very comfortable. Everything was thought of in the amenities. Great loft bed and play area, perfect with young children. Thank you Edda!
