Holiday rentals with a hot tub in York

Great spot for visting family in Bradford

Wonderful property, recently renovated to a very high standard. Views were exceptional, fixtures and fittings were very good quality. Host was easy to contact and very friendly. Local pub is a ten minute walk and serves good food.

We booked this for friends to use for their honeymoon. Charles was very accommodating and helpful when booking and the space was just perfect. Particularly appreciated was the wood fired hot tub and lots of useful local information helping them to make the most of their stay.

Stayed for a long weekend for my daughter’s birthday, to see a concert at Temple Newsham. Very handy for the venue, and also for local food - can recommend a take out from Aryaan down the road! Jo very friendly and helpful with local advice.

Beautiful, well presented house on the outskirts of York. A little too far to walk to the centre with a young family but only a short drive away. On street parking is available but can get busy. The hot tub was fantastic and a real hit with our five year old! House is very clean and modern. Thanks for the stay guys!

Gilbertson cottage was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The house was immaculate and just completely breath taking. We came on a Hen do & just could not get over how unreal every single aspect of the house was. It made our whole weekend. It was everything and more that we could have asked for & I couldn’t be more grateful. We’ve already spoke about a few of us coming back with our partners and children! What a beautiful place. We are a group of 6 schoolfriends that chose Steve and Gemma's place for our annual reunion and we absolutely loved our stay. Beautifully furnished and luxurious spaces. The paddock is home to their brood of alpacas, llamas, geese, chickens, giant rabbit and last but not least, gorgeous George the peacock. We enjoyed a day out in York, but honestly, the highlights of the weekend, we're all based around our accommodation. Thank you Steve and Gemma for the warmest of welcomes, flexibility, invitation to help feed the animals - which was such fun - the relaxing Sound Bath experience (sorry about the fit of giggles!) and the lovely hot tub and BBQ area - the glorious weather was a bonus. Oh and the goose eggs! Thank you! We enjoyed a proper besties catch up in the loveliest of surroundings. I'm sure we'll return sometime soon! x

Such an amazing stay, I couldn’t recommend this Airbnb enough! The location is perfect for disconnecting and relaxing, the pod is beautiful with great amenities. We loved the outdoor facilities and making the most of the countryside. Made a very special birthday trip. Would definitely love to come back again - thank you!

We will definitely be returning. It was the best lodge we've stayed in, in particular the garden space that was private and spacious. It was totally secure which was perfect for our dog. The Lodge was really spacious and had everything you need for a trip away. The kitchen had everything you need including a full size fridge freezer. The only negative will be the pillows, i must of got about 2 hours sleep during the night because of them. I really think investing in some proper quality pillows will go a long way, especially when they would easily last half a year minimum before needing to be replaced. But this is honestly the only negative thing about the place.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was really beautifully decorated with great attention to detail—it felt cozy and inviting from the moment we arrived. The hot tub was a lovely touch and made the experience even more relaxing. The host was very responsive and made sure everything we needed was available. Overall, it was so comfortable and felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Wonderfully quiet place. We really enjoyed watching the birds at the feeders and all around. Just lovely surroundings The hot tub was a real treat as well!

We’ve just returned from Lapwing Lodge. Beautiful location, very peaceful and the facilities were everything we needed. The photos don’t do it justice. The cabin was spotless and the hottub was a great bonus. Arrived to a very easy check in and we were even given until midday to leave on the departure date. Would definitely be interested in returning in the future.

Louise’s lodge is absolutely beautiful and in a very peaceful location. The rooms were absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub is a lovely addition and the fact that it is in the back garden for privacy made it even better. The location of the accommodation is fantastic, around a 30 minute drive to York city centre and also has great bus links to both York and the nearby town of Pocklington. Thank you Louise, we will definitely come back to your lovely lodge!
