Townhouse holiday rentals in York

The house was very lovely and all we needed since we were only staying for 3 nights. It was very convenient making it only a few minutes away from all the places we went to.The bed was also comfy and the house had a lovely cozy,homely feel to it.They did provide some mil and biscuits which was very kind.Overall we loved our stay and would definitely recommend!

Great little terraced house a few minutes walk from the station in one direction and the shops and restaurants in the other. Wonderfully comfortable main bed. Despite overlooking a car park it was so peaceful and quiet. In fact the car park could have been useful had I brought my car. George St car park always seemed to have loads of empty spaces whereas on-street parking was a bit tight. Two bathrooms including both a bath in one and a shower in the other were useful. Quite tight steep stairs (normal in these houses) and thin walls were the only downsides but it was very quiet at night. Best to keep the TV volume down. Loads of good pubs in Bev and great independent restaurants. The nearby M&S food hall is also useful.

Great location. Easy to walk to the Monkgate (0.4 miles) Parking is provided on the street. The flat is spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the shower worked well. The garden bedroom and bathroom are outside in the back. Would stay there again if back in York.

We loved our stay in this beautiful spacious home. So peaceful at night. Minutes from the bus into town which my daughter loved, and having a garden whilst being so close to town was wonderful. It has everything you need including comfy beds. We had a takeaway from the local Indian a five minute walk away which was delicious. Highly recommend.

Beth was a great host. She communicated very well from the reservation booking, through a few changes in our number of guests, to checking on us during our stay. The home was perfectly located to get to places in Town Centre to visit and to the train station. The house had all we needed. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen for a few family meals together. The dishwasher and the washer/dryer worked well. The beds were warm and comfortable. The bathrooms were designed great for our 7 guests to alternate through. Each bedroom had its own full length mirror and hair dryer, which was very helpful. The neighborhood was very respectful. The nights were completely quiet, allowing us a comfortable night’s sleep and rest to be able to be up and ready for our next day’s activities.

Lovely, traditional terraced house in a fabulous location. Walking distance to great restaurants and pubs. Spotlessly clean and lovely comfortable beds. Jackie was very helpful and friendly.

We had a fantastic stay at Whistler House for my sister and her husband’s 70th birthdays. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully furnished and had a great location being on the river and a few minutes walk from the City. The cottage was well equipped and the host went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. Highly recommended. Thank you Anna for a lovely stay. We will be back!

Perfect house for exploring the area. In a quiet street but within a short walk to the local station, main street and pubs and restaurants. Alweena was the perfect host. Would highly recommend.

the house is in a lovely location on the canal. it's far enough out of the way to be quiet but also close to the city for a nice walk in. speaking to Jayne was easy and she was very understanding and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here ! all ages of people would be pleased with the house, location and hosts.

Sally was very helpful and a great communicator. The flat was perfect and central to York. Definitely would stay again.

We stayed at Kate’s property to see family. It was booked last minute then added an extra day early last minute. Kate is a fantastic host who makes sure you know all the details, very quick responses and a lovely lady. We realised the pool table was missing two balls, I messaged Kate and she ordered new ones and dropped them off to us the next day :)

Absolute wonderful home, 1 mins walk from restaurants and pubs, very quiet, parking permit. We have now found a new place for a long weekend, holidays permitting we will definitely be back this year....👍

Had a great time staying here, the property is really nice and in a good location should you want to use it to go further afield and explore. Trudi was an excellent host and so helpful, will definitely be staying again if in the area!

Perfect place to stay for a few days in York. Very quiet. Nice walk along the river into town or bus stop 2 mins away. Cafes and supermarkets nearby. Well equipped, clean and easy to find. Jo was proactive, very responsive and provided lots of useful information. Only downside for some might be the stairs as there are four floors. Would definitely stay again if going to York.

Our visit to Beverly was short just 2 nights, but arriving after a 5 hour journey it was lovely to have a beautiful house to relax and stay in and added bonus in lovely location, walking distance to the town. Paul is a fabulous host, nothing was an issue. Beverley Minster is a must see! I would definitely rebook if I visit again. Thank you 😊

We had a great time at Celia’s townhouse in York. It was conveniently located and was the perfect size for our family. Celia was incredibly responsive to our needs and went out of her way to ensure that our stay was pleasant. I highly recommend Celia as a host and her place as a wonderful place to stay in York.

Joanne’s place was fabulous! We were sad to leave! It was spotless, the beds were so comfortable and we had everything we could possibly need. The place was a short walking distance to the incredible town of Saltaire. We stayed for 5 nights and could have easily stayed another 5! We highly recommend this beautiful home.

Right next to the park, and only 15 mins walk from the main prom. House is great - very clean and freshly furnished. Quiet street and easy parking. Ideal.

Great house in a peaceful but walkable location. Extremely well equipped Kitchen and furnished very well. The only added bonus would have been a small bottle of milk but there is a spar 2 minutes away.
