Cave holiday rentals in Abona

the cave(s) are very cozy and are situated in a beautiful rural landscape. drinking a glass of wine looking at the vast open scenery around us during sunset was definitely a highlight. as others mentioned, some steep and narrow roads need to be taken to reach the property. however there is also a parking spot situated 3-5 min walk uphill which avoids driving through the most challenging sections. would love to come back with family or friends and enjoy spending more time relaxing at the cave, reading and barbecuing in this very peaceful place.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, die Höhle ist super gemütlich, sehr ruhig gelegen und hat einen tollen Blick auf die Berge und das Meer. Die Sonnenaufgänge sind spektakulär! Aufgrund der Höhenmeter ist es (zumindest im Januar) morgens und abends frisch, also auch wärmere Sachen einpacken. Dafür gibt es eine schöne Feuerstelle und man kann wunderbar in die Sterne schauen. Wlan, Dusche, Herd etc. funktionierten super. Geübte Autofahrer kommen auf Ihre Kosten, für die Pisten Richtung Nationalpark keinen Kleinstwagen nehmen. Außergewöhnliche Location! We loved the place! And our kids loved it even more, if possible! If we had known how great it was, we would have booked more days. The place and the cave was magical, and the hosts very friendly and gave us lots of good tips of where to go. We would really recommend this place and hope to come back one day! Thank you Anja and Wanja and your lovely kids! (I know our youngest found a good friend and hope to come back to visit!)

Een hele fijne aankomst! Met wat hulp vanwege de dirtroad waar we per ongeluk op terecht kwamen! Fantastisch onderkomen. Vanaf de grotten kan je via het dal mooi naar beneden. Hele fijne plek! Heerlijk geslapen

This was one special stay! This cave is a sacred and cozy spot full of an amazing energy. The place more spatious than it seemed in the pictures and super comfortable with everything you need inside. It didn’t take long for us to feel at home. The hosts were very responsive and detail-oriented, providing us in the cave with all things you may need to make you feel right at home. You definitely need a car to move around as there is nothing really within walking distance. But we love the quietness and remoteness of this space. It has a beautiful terace where we chilled and made a grill, and also a terace on top of the cave where you have an amazing view of the region and the ocean. We spent two weeks there and this cave made our stay 10 times more special! Thank you so much 💚

Nous avons passé une semaine en famille (2 enfants 4 et 6 ans) dans la maison de rêve de Marta. La écoration est soignée avec un oucis dans chaque détail. Tout est propre et sent bon, et il ne manque rien. La vue sur l'océan est incroyable. Nous avons pris tous nos repas sur la grande terrasse avec cette vue à couper le souffle. La maison taillée dans la roche est magnifique, c'est de loin le plus beau logement qu'on a eu la chance d'occuper en vacances. La maison est proche de l'aéroport et bien placée pour rayonner un peu partout sur l'île. Il y a un super marché tout proche et des petits restos sympas. La petite plage au pied de la maison est parfaite pour se poser en fin de journée avec les enfants. Enfin l'accueil à notre arrivée était très chaleureux et nous avons beaucoup apprécié la communication et flexibilité de Marta. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette maison pour des vacances à Tenerife !

Laureano’s place was something else. As non drivers this place was a little ambitious to get to as the hill is very steep! Even for drivers you must not be anxious otherwise it’s a little tricky to get up. Once you check in the view is breathtaking. You are far away from everything so there is no sound, just the birds and tranquility. Once in the cave it is so much bigger than what we expected! With another room in the back? The cave was comfortable and everything was well decorated, I can’t believe the care and effort that has gone into making the cave look this beautiful. Only downside was the hot water played up a little at would cut out whilst showering, or washing up we found it difficult with cold water… Laureano was very responsive and friendly! If you’re looking for an adventure this place is perfect for you, transport to the place is tricky but well worth it.

Hôte très accueillante , séjours très reposant avec une vue incroyable ! L’accès à la piscine naturelle et géniale à seulement 1 minute à pied Karolina est à l’écoute et très réactive. Je recommande fortement son logement !

Excellent experience! Everything was exactly as advertised. While it’s not a luxurious stay, as clearly stated in the listing, the place has a wonderfully relaxed vibe. I was even able to work online from the yard. Rene is a friendly and easy-going host, always ready to assist with anything you might need on the island. Highly recommended!

Angela's house is fantastic. Perched high on the cliff with a stunning view out over the Atlantic coast. The ocean and sky are visible all day from everywhere in the house and the sunsets are incredible each evening. The area around the very well heated pool is spacious and well-protected from the wind. The house was extremely clean with fresh linen and towels for all the beds and bathrooms. The kitchen had all the basics like coffee, spices and condiments and Angela had left some water, wine and cremant to welcome us. A car is definitely a necessity and the road to the house is steep due to the location which is extremely private from all angles. The stairs up and down to the pool are maybe not ideal for families with smaller children but we (family of 4, kids 12 & 17) had a fantastic 2 week stay and can highly recommend Angela as a friendly and accommodating host and the house as a fantastic property- just like in the photos, but better!
