Beach house holiday rentals in Bournemouth

A fantastic week staying in an idyllic cottage just on the outskirts of the New Forest. We loved exploring the towns and villages nearby, some recommended by Mandy in the helpful handbook provided. The house was quirky and we loved exploring the huge record and book collection in the house, and our son loved spotting all the various plants and fruit growing in the garden! Mandy also provided a baby cot and monitor for our baby, which was excellent and saved us bringing our own down. The cottage was a great home base for us to come back to, especially after attending a wedding into the early hours. The surroundings are excellent and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again here if we visit the New Forest again!

We absolutely loved the Beach house! Huge place, beautifully decorated and luxury amenities. Nice touch leaving Waitrose Prosecco and M&S cookies out for us. Bed linen was excellent quality and spotlessly clean. We all had great nights sleep. Gardens were beautifully kept. 4 min walk to sandy beaches and the rockwater restaurant was fab. Louise was brilliant to respond to all my messages. We will book this again and I highly recommend this Airbnb.

We were a multigenerational family group , including young grandchildren, wanting a nice relaxing holiday by the seaside, with things to do for everyone. The Gate House was exactly what we needed, with lots of room and excellent facilities! We had shared time and privacy with large communal living and dining space and a lovely enclosed safe garden and outdoor dining facilities. We knew the area but the recommended dining options were excellent. Great beers from The Bus, excellent wood fire pizzas from the beach pop up, great burgers by Fat Shaun and a Greek takeaway from the Piano bar.,with Sunset drinks in The Albion. An easy short walk to the beach, which though a bit pebbly was an ideal location on the sunny days for family fun, with Sandcastles. The sea was good for paddling, jumping and swimming and easy access to the cafe for drinks and ice creams. Sam and Simon were excellent hosts and we have no problem in recommending this fantastic holiday venue and hosts!

Absolutely beautiful accommodation on the clifftop with fantastic views over the sea and all along the coast, including the Isle Of Wight. Very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. very close to beach access and with restaurants within walking distance and a good range of shops a short drive away. Nicky was very helpful and friendly, would highly recommend.

Amazing place! Perfect location for a family holiday. The house has absolutely everything you need and more. We really enjoyed sea kayaking and paddle boarding with all Daves's kit. The sea is so close you can carry everything down to the shore. We really loved the hot tub and sauna and bbq area. The games room was a great space for the kids to hang out and play as well as the adults. We couldn't have wanted more. We'd wholeheartedly recommend this amazing house.

Excellent house, fully equipped and pristine. A large garden, with a good size patio. Host very responsive to any queries. Not many attractions within walking distance, but lots within driving distance. Overall a very quiet area, with the garden very peaceful, but the house is on a slightly busy road with some traffic still passing the front bedrooms late at night.

Just back from a wonderful 4 nights with my daughters and grandchildren. On 3 levels so plenty of room for everyone. Great location and lots to see and do. Great that the lovely clean beach is just across the road. Lots of fun memories made. Elaine is a lovely, communicative host. Thankyou Elaine from us all.

We needed a place to stay to visit my daughters and to check out the local area as we are looking to move to the area. The accommodation was just the ticket. It was easy to find and was walking distance from all the places we wanted to visit. It was very clean, and they provided everything we needed (particularly like the welcome pack). The instructions were spot on, and they even provided details regarding local shops and restaurants. It was certainly big enough, with a very spacious living area and kitchen. All in all an amazing experience. Thank you!

We had such a great stay at Celia’s home—it really suited our whole family, from grandparents in their 70s to the grandchild who is 4. The house was super clean, cosy, and really well thought out. There were toys and games that kept my son busy, and the space was easy for everyone to have their own space when needed, which made a big difference for us. It just felt like everything had been considered. The location was great too. There’s a lovely little park just a short walk away, which was perfect for morning strolls. The town centre is a bit further, but still walkable if you’re up for it—and if not, it’s a quick drive. Lots of restaurants nearby with a wide range of choices, so everyone found something they liked. The beachfront is also a longer walk, but easy to drive to and parking was no problem at all. It was a lovely place to stay—comfortable, family-friendly, and in a great spot. Exactly how it has been described by other reviews and photos. Would definitely come back!

Great spacious property for our large family get together. The teens really enjoyed the games room and the adults enjoyed the sunny garden. The house is in a brilliant location, just 15 minutes walk through the chine to the beach & 15 minutes in the other directions to the Westbourne shops.

We had a great stay at Belinda’s place. The house is welcoming and just a short walk to the beach. The location is unbeatable for the quieter Bournemouth beaches. Belinda and Matthew checked us in and shared some great tips to make our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the open-plan downstairs and garden area provided a great space for our 4 year old and baby. Belinda was very warm and quick to respond to our queries both before and during our stay. Thank you!

We found Brian's house extremely convenient,comfortable and as described. Brian was one of the more helpful hosts we've had,always replying quickly and patiently to our many queries.The back garden was great,beds& couches comfortable,lots of fresh towels and kitchen very well equipped.

We had 4 wonderful nights at the Cowshed, we wished it could have been longer. The location was perfect for us, allowing for easy walking to Lulworth Cove and Durdle door. It’s also very close to the Castle Inn pub. The Cowshed was absolutely spotless and very cosy, with a secluded outside space to enjoy as well. Emma was very helpful and super proactive and organised… with plenty of recommendations. Thanks for an incredible stay, we look forward to returning in the near future!

Our son really loved the bunk beds and the secret garden. The house is great, very close to the beach - a nice spot for swimming. We saw red squirrels in the garden …which was a treat. Yarmouth town and the George pub is a short walk from the house. Lovely walks and everything you could want for a base for short or longer stay.

A fantastic house! This was a family holiday to take my dad away who is currently on chemo and the first holiday since we lost my mum last year. We chose the house because of the ensuite bedroom located downstairs. The house layout really suited our family and gave my dad some space of our own. The house far surpassed our expectations; immaculately decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean! The beautiful garden was a haven of relaxation and we spent a number of hours sat out there in the beautiful sunshine. We were able to visit a number of places from the property including Beaulieu motor museum (25 mins away)and several beaches including Boscombe (25 mins away) and Barton on sea (which was less than 5 minutes away). I had excellent communication from Liz before arrival and there was a very informative booklet provided in the kitchen. Liz also called in to check on us during our stay. We have had a fantastic few days and are hoping to return again!
