Cottage holiday rentals in Bournemouth

We had a lovely stay at Stag cottage and fully enjoyed the huge garden during our stay. Communications with Cindy were excellent and she was really quick to respond and keen to ensure our stay was the best it could be. It was most definitely a lucky find and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. 😊🦌❤️

This was our second stay at The Old Piggery, and again we absolutely loved it. It’s such a beautiful location. Grant is really helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay at Ruth's stunning cottage. Ruth was a fantastic host, always on hand to answer my many questions (sorry Ruth😅) to walking in to find a lovely hamper. She also had mapped out some walk trails and supplied books / leaflets for local amenities. Cannot fault anything! We loved the hot tub and such a lovely enclosed garden so our dog was free to run around at his own leisure. It felt like a home away from home as we were able to use Ruth's BBQ too! Thanks for having us Ruth!

Absolutely loved it here! Came here for a little weekend getaway for my partners birthday. The hot tub was amazing and the whole place was spotless and had everything we needed. Could not recommend this enough! The bed was unbelievably comfy… didn’t want to get out of it in the mornings😂

Wonderful little cottage, where get to see horses and donkeys everyday. We loved staying here and are already looking to book again in the autumn. Joyce & David are lovely and we’re happy to show us around the farm and tell us all about the animal, thank you so much.

We had a lovely few days, lots of room in the house, hot tub and games room a bonus, along with the deer in the garden yesterday morning! Many thanks for the welcome pack and milk.

Had a wonderful two days at The Bothy. Such a beautiful spot and the cottage I think looks even better in real life - and it looks pretty wonderful in the photos! We felt right at home straight away- Chrissy had left some welcome staples which was appreciated and there is everything you need for a truly lovely stay. We made use of the hot tub which was fab and it’s in a very peaceful but convenient location to explore the New Forest. Come - we hope to go back soon.

Very nice place. Hot tubs not as private as could have been but very nice pod. Sofa had a slight dog smell would be my only real complaint.

Lovely little cottage with a secure garden. The village has a fantastic little shop for everything you need and a very friendly village pub with great food.

Had to struggle for a while to discover Little Coombe in the tangle of small roads. It later became clear that it is located near the A30 motorway. To then discover the house beautifully set in greenery. Surprised by flowers on the table, treats and brand new eggs. Thank you, Julie! Julie is a very friendly host. Also very discreet. This property being attached to the main house felt completely private, with a delightful garden and views. Comfortable, tastefully decorated, very cosy. The kitchen is also very well equipped. The folder with practical info and ideas was very valuable for us. We enjoyed our stay at Little Coombe and return home with fond memories.

We loved our stay. Great location. Easy walking distance to town, the beach and the steam train. Comfortable beds and had everything we needed.

Seafield Cottage is perfectly located with easy access to Lulworth Cove and a number of hiking trails, including Durdle Door and the trails along the cove. Absolutely stunning views. Lovely pubs close by and the salt sauna (which you need to book early if hire going to get a good time!). The cottage was super well equipped, comfortable and clean beds and rooms at a very good standard. The master room at the top of the 3 floors was gorgeous with an ensuite. The bunk bed room is great for kids, less so for overflow adults so really it’s a 2 x double bed property sleeping 4 adults + 2 bunk beds (4 in total) for kids. Emma was super responsive to any questions and gave comprehensive instructions and recommendations for the local area. I’d definitely come back and would recommend.

Most wonderful stay. Clean and comfortable cottage with everything we needed. Super views, lovely neighbours. Only difficulty was locating the cottage in the beginning. There is no signage on the road . Can’t recommend cottage enough though.Can’t wait to come back

We had a lovely stay, the cottage is bright, homely and well equipped. The area is very peaceful and the views, particularly from the master bedroom, are beautiful! There was a lovely welcome hamper which was very much appreciated. James was extremely kind to offer us a later check out time and he was quick to respond to my messages. Sadly we didn’t explore the surrounding area due to spending time with family in Fordingbridge. The garden was a great bonus and completely fenced in and secure which was perfect as we had our dog with us.

A perfect stay in every way, lovely walks in beautiful surroundings. The cottage had everything we needed and Denise was very helpful even leaving a welcome pack.(Nice touch) Would love to stay again in the future. Thanks Denise for sharing your lovely cottage😊

A perfect stay in the New Forest. Beautiful clean homely cottage, Dog friendly, good communication with hosts and perfect area. Lemon drizzle cake and fresh local milk was left out for our arrival which we thought was a lovely gesture.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was in a great location for exploring Swanage (5-10 minute walk from the seafront/town). The cottage was clean and the kitchen well stocked with helpful items e.g., condiments and tin foil. We were able to get free parking on a nearby road as directed. We would stay again.

Had a lovely weekend stay with family. The accommodations was clean well presented and decorated really nicely. Beds were comfortable, linen nice and clean. Lovely welcome gift which was a well received treat we wasn’t expecting. Located in walking distance from centre, pubs, restaurants, beach and local train/bus station. The host was excellent rang me prior to our stay, explained exactly how to find the accommodation, gave clear instructions on how to access property and local recommendations on restaurants etc. This was followed up by text message communication. Was extremely flexible with checking and out times which was great as travelling with younger children and elderly relatives. I would defo return and 100% recommend this accommodation and host. Sweet cottage set in a fantastic location close to Paultons Park 10mins) and other attractions. Walking distance (3 mins) to 2 pubs. Beautiful enclosed cottage garden with sheltered outdoor seating area. A great home from home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Mallards Cottage and will definitely return for a longer stay. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped with nice touches such as fresh flowers and a selection of basic provisions in the fridge. We found it very homely with lovely views across the large lawn. The host family were very welcoming and friendly especially with local information and places to eat. We would thoroughly recommend Mallards Cottage to anyone.

This was the most perfect Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The location is beautiful and extremely peaceful. The house was absolutely spotless and so many little details had been thought about and provided, where they are so often missed in many other places. Could not have been more perfect And we hope to come back another day soon.

From initial booking, arrival to departure Lisa was in touch to make sure everything was ok and set up for us & our grandson on arrival ( bed guard, stair guard & books to read ) . Any questions were responded to quickly and Lisa was really easy to message/chat to about the cottage and local area The cottage was lovely and clean with everything we needed and a few treats waiting for us on arrival. Lyndhurst centre was within easy walking distance ( even for a 4 year old) and we had no problems parking our car on the road near the cottage. We were able to unwind & relax after days out exploring and staying here meant we were within easy reach of most places in the new forest, paultons park, furzey gardens & Beaulieu all within a short drive. We would like to visit again and would definitely book Lisa’s cottage as it was a home from home

A beautiful and relaxing home in a stunning location. Host Linda was very responsive and helpful. Well equipped kitchen, lovely bedrooms and ample space for living and dining. One of the best places we have ever stayed at!

We had a lovely stay at Ana’s house. It had everything we needed to stay in and relax, and some great pubs nearby to eat out too. It was more spacious than the pictures suggest, with a great living area which looked out over a grassy field, trees and river. We managed some very British wildlife sightings too from the comfort of the living room with visits from red kites, deer and a young hare! Ana went above and beyond as a host welcoming us on arrival with a fresh loaf of home baked sourdough bread. It was a perfect stay!
