This is a really neat place to stay in the countryside. The château has been in Louis’ family for 26 generations and he and his daughters had lots of fun stories to tell about the place. Staying here is like staying in a museum, it’s so cool. Louis was very nice and organized a breakfast with us in the château, which was lovely. We felt so welcomed and the place is gorgeous. Be sure to plan to spend some time at the château, we only had time for a brief tour and would have loved to stay longer!

We travel a lot, and this was one of the most amazing travel experiences we have ever had. The Château du Fraisse is an absolutely unique and wonderful place. Louis, the host, and member of the historic family, could not have been more warm and welcoming. He welcomed us in to his home with fantastic stories and fun! This place is a gem!

Thanks to the Airbnb ‘only castles’ filter I have stayed in quite a few castles. This was truly an authentic experience that I will always remember. This castle has been in the host’s family for 800 years and he has a lot of passion for its history and preservation. We loved that is was dog friendly and had a laid back, relaxing feel to it. If you love history then do yourself a favour and take a day or two to make it out to this hidden gem. Thank you for being so kind to us and our dogs. Ron, Cristina, Eddi and Norm

nous avons eu l'occasion de séjourner pour la nuitée du réveillon. Sandra nous a recommandé de bons restaurants aux alentours. et nous avons même pu assister en prime à un feu d'artifice dans le parc du château. très beau domaine spacieux. nous avons aussi eu le droit à une visite guidée et argumenté par le papa de Sandra un passionné ! literie au top. petit dej bien sympathique dans la salle voûtée. tout y était à la perfection :) nous recommandons l'endroit.

Außergewöhnliche Location mit Platz für mehrere Familien. Macht von außen echt was her. Wir hatte eine tolle Zeit in der weitläufigen Anlage. Die Hausangestellten waren sehr kommunikativ und aufmerksam. Das Interieur ist natürlich passend zur Location etwas bieder aber nicht ohne Charm. Die Kücheneinrichtung kann nicht mit der ansonsten tollen Anlage mithalten. Außergewöhnlich schön sind die Schlafzimmer, da wurde großer Wert drauf gelegt und das sieht man. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Insgesamt ein tolles Erlebnis.

We arrived at Le château on a rainy day, but the warm welcome and the beauty of the place made us forget about the sad weather ! All our expectations were met ! . The comfort of the room made us feel at home away from home. The food was delicious, and Abigail was making sure we had everything we needed. We have just one regret.... We didn't stay long enough ! This place would be ideal to discover this beautiful area and relax for a few more days.
