Cabin holiday rentals in Cooperstown

The view was absolutely stunning and the environment was so peacefully quiet. The home is beautifully constructed and decorated with all the necessities and amenities. There’s plenty of space for the pups to run around safely, and the hot tub was amazing, especially with that view! William & Liz were excellent communicators and made the whole process incredibly simple. We’ll definitely be back!

Very nice place to spend a relaxing weekend. everything we needed was supplied and Chris was very attentive to any issues we had. Thank you again Chris for an awesome cabin for us to spend our 1st wedding anniversary. oh and I left the drop bear in the woods. 😉

Such an awesome spot! BUT note this is a glampsite rather than a full house. The toilet is an outhouse (very clean, but make sure to duck to not hit your head), the shower is heated but it's outdoor, I didn't have soap or towels provided that I saw, and the bed is a tri-fold mattress that folds out onto the floor of the little A-frame. The wood fire hot tub was amazing, the fire pit is nice, there are two chairs included, parking is easy, there is good quality firewood here but bring something to light it with and start the burn. The sound of the running water is worth every penny. The cabin also is heated via some sort of gas, which does a great job and making the space feel cozy but I woke up with a pretty good sore throat. Not sure if that is a coincidence or if from the heater. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Just make sure the less earthy people in your group are not expecting a hotel room/house.

If you’re looking for a cozy weekend away in the Catskills, this is the place!! Everything about Pamela and Alan’s cabin was absolutely perfect: the cleanliness, the amenities, their friendliness, the vast space, and bonus: the grill and hot tub. My partner and I loved every minute of our time spent at the cabin and truly made some great memories staying up here. I cannot recommend this place enough and thank Pamela and Alan for being incredible hosts!

The A-Frame on Pudding Hill was everything we were looking for — cozy, private, and super romantic. It had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. The hot tub was a little tricky to turn on at first haha, but once it was going, it was perfect. Thank you, Lenny, for being such a thoughtful host. We felt truly cared for, and we’d love to return in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dreamy getaway!

Rena was an amazing host we were running a bit late to check in due to car problems she was very caring and always responded quickly. Checking in and out was super easy. Her place is beautiful and peaceful. Even though it rained during our stay the place still looked amazing! The sounds of nature were soothing, and the views were breathtaking. At night the stars looked remarkable. My girlfriend and I will never forget The Roost. Thank you for having us rena. We really appreciated how understanding and responsive you were during our stay. I will recommend your place to my family and friends! 11/10 rating.

This was our second time staying at Rashmi‘s property and it was just as great as we remembered. The kitchen is fully stocked so we were able to make dinner at home, the views were amazing and it was so nice to hang out by the fire pit at night. Our dogs loved the backyard and there was a great farm stand just down the road. Rashmi was super responsive and flexible. She is an awesome host and we hope to book another stay soon!

This was my first time at Kailey's place in Unadilla. I tried to book last year but the dates I needed were not available, so I was sure to book early this year. I stayed at this cabin to attend a SCWK trial in Otego, only 10-15 minutes away.... What a coy place Hilltop cabin is......a fenced deck off the bedroom is a plus and there is so much land to walk around and the pond is lovely....very quiet, although there are a few houses around but I never heard anything but nature! Kailey was an accommodating hostess, reaching out various times to make sure everything was acceptable and that I was able to unlock the lock box and get into the cabin.....The kitchen is very well equipped and the shower was delightful! I would definitely recommend this cabin to others with no hesitation. Thank you, Kailey, for such a memorable stay.....

Absolutely Amazing Cabin Retreat!** I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cabin, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location is incredibly private, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home, and the welcoming vibe was evident from the moment I arrived. The fire pit was a fantastic touch—perfect for relaxing evenings under the stars. The grill allowed for some delicious outdoor cooking, adding to the overall experience. The bedroom is stunning, with a charming design that made sleeping there a true pleasure. I also loved the wood style decor throughout the cabin; it added a warm, rustic charm that I found absolutely captivating. We will definitely be back soon! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed, even instructions in case of bad weather. We felt so comfortable and relaxed during our stay. We would absolutely recommend staying here for a weekend getaway! Thanks so much to Kelsey for everything!

Jeff and Sharon were wonderful hosts and the airbnb exceeded our expectations. It was clean, nice, and had great amenities. The creek in the back was beautiful. Jeff and Sharon were also available and responsive the entire stay. We couldn’t speak highly enough of this airbnb.

This place exceeded my expectations! Truely stunning, the interior is so beautiful - you can tell how much thought went into styling this cabin. So peaceful and well maintained. Beds comfortable, large garden and great kitchen amenities. Sohail was super responsive and I can’t wait to return!

Robert and Sandra were so helpful in making sure we were able to get the experience we were hoping for. The cabin is beautiful and we enjoyed looking through the photos of its construction. It was clean, comfortable, and very private.

This was perfect. Atop a field in the middle of nowhere we had what seemed like the world to ourselves. With amazing views all around and fields to walk thru and explore, this was just what we needed to unplug. We will be back.

My boyfriend and our 2 pups enjoyed our time here! The place was mostly stocked with what we needed (no lighter for fire pit or coffee filters that we could find (but it rained and k-cups were provided), which neither are a big deal, but things we didn’t think to pack - so pack those if you’d need them!), it was clean, and we enjoyed the location for hiking / fishing and good food! We’d stay here again!

Like many of the other reviews, this place is better in person! it is secluded but feels very safe, lots of space to release your anxiety from wherever you are traveling, there’s abundant amount of materials and things to do provided by Theresa, very responsive and the cabin was decorated with a lot of care and attention to detail and you will feel it as soon as you walk in. The cabin is also very clean and feels it was built with good and new materials. We went to the cobleskill flea market and it was amazing. We will definitely look to come back in a different season to enjoy the heat or maybe the frozen pond!

My wife and I were in need of a rustic retreat, and Jaclyn's cabin provided just that. Likely the best Airbnb experience we've had, the Outlander made us feel at home right away. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the old world charm of the cabin which also featured the modern amenities that kept us comfortable during our stay. Jaclyn and her co-hosts, Diane and Paul, were incredibly responsive and checked in regularly to make sure we had all that we needed. When our plans got rained out, Paul was kind enough to show us the maple syrup operation and give us a tour of the property's trails from the comfort of a covered side by side. Everything about the cabin, from the listing to the instructional videos and the local goodies, was incredibly thoughtful and intentional. It's always hard to end a vacation and return to reality, but it's rare to have a hard time saying goodbye to an accommodation, which was the case with the Outlander. Beautiful place situated in the mountains! This house would be amazing for a honeymoon, anniversary or just to unplug from the world and spend quality time! It’s very private, clean, beautiful and the host is very responsive and clear with instructions. We will be back in the future! (Just adding to help the host and anyone coming for Cooperstown tournaments) the distance doesn’t seem like much but the speed you have to go through the terrain makes timing to get to the kids whom are staying at the bunk houses a lot! But if you are fine with that this is a wonderful place!

This is a beautiful property to stay with my pups when I visit my family in Central NY. So thankful for the fenced in yard, and my niece and nephew love to visit to enjoy the pond and long walks around the grounds.

This house was so much better than expected. The amenities are above and beyond. You can go fishing, theres boats you can take out into the pond, and there’s a disco ball that has lights shining onto it. It was the best weekend ever and I’m definitely booking the house again. The kitchen is also beautiful and has everything you need. When people say the house is better in person they aren’t lying. I also took my friends to Howe caverns which is only 30 minutes away from the house. Highly recommend the house!!!!!

This 100 year old cabin is perfect for a cozy and peaceful getaway. My wife and I had the best time and wish we could have stayed longer. We will certainly be coming back whenever we get the chance. Steve was also a perfect host as he was always available to answer any questions and was very helpful throughout our stay. 100% recommend!

We visit Oneonta once or twice a year, often staying at a hotel. I am certain if we did that again, it would be a forgettable weekend. This place made our stay utterly unforgettable. A calm, peaceful cabin on a lovely piece of land on the mountain, just 10 minutes from town. We will never forget our stay at cabin #2 at My Friend's Place.
