Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Erlangen-Höchstadt

Bernd's apartment is ideal for exploring the surrounding area. We took 3 city tours and were in Nuremberg, Bamberg and Rothenburg. For us, it was perfect to live a little outside and quietly and yet to reach everything quite quickly. The apartment was very clean and we found everything as described. Thank you for it.

The hosts both Caroline and Alexander are very friendly and responsive. Communication was perfect and the check in was very easy. The pictures don’t do the place the justice. It’s so much more beautiful than on the pictures. It’s a wonderful place and very peaceful. The house itself is so well equipped. You can definitely tell that the owners spends a lot time and money to renovate it. The house was super clean. The sauna was a hit, also our children enjoyed it very much. We spend a lot of time playing in the garden and enjoyed a local bier garden. I recommend this house to anyone who values privacy and peaceful space, where you can easily relax surrounded by the forest and enjoy waking up in a exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated house. Will definitely come back.

Ida was very hospitable and the communication was easy with her. Both the check-in and check-out went smoothly. The Airbnb offered exactly what was promised, I’d be happy to stay here again!

We had a very nice short break with 4 adults in an interesting area! Hikes, for example, to the Walberla and excursions to the surrounding area are quite possible from Pinzberg. The best way to get to the starting points is by car. The Bergkirchweih and the city center of Erlangen can be reached quickly and easily from Forchheim by public transport (cheap with the Deutschlandticket, a single ticket is quite expensive for the short trip). Bamberg and Nuremberg are also well worth a visit. The apartment is spacious, beautiful and tastefully furnished with lots of natural wood furniture. A nice change is Gustav the gander, who lives in the fenced garden area and greets the guests and is vigilant. Ariane and Roman are a very friendly, open-minded and helpful landlord couple as you would like. There is a good restaurant in the village and in the surrounding villages you will find plenty of good beer gardens!

Wonderful stay! Home had everything we needed plus more. Highly recommend and will be back on our trip to Germany.

Great place for families! We spent wonderful days in the apartment of Birgit and Kalle. We were greeted on a warm summer day with cool drinks - perfect. We especially liked the tranquility, the large terrace with a view of the greenery and the beautiful garden, which invited us to relax and play. As a child, you experience paradise on earth. Super many toys, books, games, balls, vehicles, etc. are available, plus vehicles for outside trampoline, table tennis, sandbox, etc. Otherwise, the apartment is super equipped - we lacked nothing. The insect screens on the windows are also great. Having arrived by electric car, we were pleased to be able to charge it via a socket directly at the carport. Bitgit and Kalle met us in a friendly and helpful manner. The location is ideal as a starting point for activities in the area and the region - you can walk directly from the house or reach various excursion destinations in just a few minutes by car.

My stay at Johannes’ place was truly wonderful and comfortable in every way. The house was spotless and well-organized upon arrival, with great attention to detail. The furniture was cozy, and the overall atmosphere was calm and peaceful—it truly felt like a home away from home. Communication was smooth, and any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly and professionally. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, making it perfect for both relaxation and exploring the nearby area. I booked Uli's apartment for an employee on business and I received very good feedback from him. The check-in went smoothly and my colleague immediately felt very comfortable. Everything is modern and cozy, as shown in the pictures. The apartment is nicely bright and very clean and tidy. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you only have to shop to be able to feed yourself. A discount store is within walking distance. Uli himself is a friendly host and it was a very nice stay. I would be happy to book again when we are around.

Bastian and his beautiful Mother were wonderful hosts. We highly recommend this place! It's a three minute walk to the train which takes you anywhere.

Nice and quiet place for a short or a longer stay. WLAN is fit for smart-working.

We had a little trouble finding the driveway into the place, but pretty quickly figured it out by following the directions. It was not clear where to park, although there were numbered spots that we assumed coordinated with the apartment numbers. We were in apartment 2 but someone was parked there. We asked the host where to park, and the host was very responsive and took care of us immediately. Being on the bottom floor, we could hear footsteps overhead in the morning. We were already planning to be up early, so it wasn't an issue. Overall it was a very nice stay and I would stay there again.

We felt like at home from the beginning. Birgit is a super nice hostess and gave us great tips for the area and in the accommodation we were also very spoiled (…. Fresh cinnamon rolls :-) ) We were very satisfied and would like to be accommodated by her again on our next visit to Fürth. All the best! Vivi & Flo

Only stayed one night for business. Serdar went out of his way to accommodate me, was extremely helpful and very friendly. The place was as described, true to the pictures and felt like home.

Franks place was in a very central location to all the happenings of Bamberg. We had a lovely stay.

Dietmar personally welcomed us and comprehensively instructed us in the apartment. The best place to sit is outside next to the stream. Hallstadt is a beautiful small town, Bamberg is easy to reach by public transport. Parking directly on the property is worth its weight in gold. If we come back to Bamberg, we will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful apartment with everything needed. Quiet location, but still a lot within walking distance. Only the apartment's own smell, especially in the bedroom and kitchen, was somewhat annoying. Better blackout in the bedroom would have been cool. All in all, no reason to give less than 5 stars.

Everything was simply perfect! Jennifer was an amazing and kind host, telling us everything we could be interested in knowing. The apartment is really great and I would definitely book again. You can also easily walk to the main attractions from there. (We stayed for Rock im Park which was also easily accessible through public transport from the house)

We had a super nice holiday week at Stefanie's! The check-in was super unproblematic, the apartment is just great for a family of four and nearby is just a lot of offer for children - Playmobil Funpark, climbing forest, Nuremberg old town etc. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Only in the upper bedroom can you clearly hear the street in front of the door when you open the windows. But the lower bedroom is turned away and therefore quiet. We found the beds themselves to be very comfortable and otherwise we lacked nothing during the week. The chickens and the family dog were a big highlight for the kids. :)

Super nice apartment, clean, nicely furnished and really cozy. Lots of toys and activities for our little one. That was really great. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings and the proximity to a great restaurant. It was a success all around and we look forward to being your guest again on our return trip.
