Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Kvitåvatn

Vi fikk akkurat vi ønsket oss: Brukervennlig og koselig hytte i rolige og naturskjønne omgivelser. Mathias var en perfekt vert. Han svarte raskt og hyggelig på våre henvendelser, og vi følte oss hjemme i hytta hans fra første stund .

Great place to stay for activities in the area. Will certainly stay here again if I return to Gaustablikk.

Prachtige locatie en mooie hut. Conform de beschrijving. Er was wat verwarring over het beddengoed maar netjes en snel opgelost. Host zeer vriendelijk.

Ett mycket gediget boende som var rent och fint! Otroliga omgivningar och Gabriella svarade alltid snabbt på de frågor vi hade. Kan varmt rekommendera!

We were 5 people staying in the house in August. It’s a beautiful house as described with a great view over the lake. The information center for the national park is only a 2 minutes walk away. Nevertheless, the spot is private and very quite, perfect for a relaxing time. It’s a great spot for activities like hiking various trails nearby or visiting the national park. We were really impressed by the spectacular nature. The house was clean and had all amenities making our stay a great experience. Check-in was easy and very flexible. Stein-Arve was a very helpful and responsive hosts, providing us with many information on possible activities. We can really recommend the house for a stay in the area.

Jorgen was a fantastic host. Always available and eager to help. The house is gorgeous with stunning views on all 3 levels. The location could not be better for skiing and exploring this resort. Easy walking distance to Olympique and the Ski Centre. The house was very clean, warm and well equipped. Nothing was missing. It is a real gem, you won’t be disappointed!

A fantastic log cabin in a perfect setting for the ski centre and climbing. The accommodation itself was clean and as described, welcoming and comfortable. Bo and Jeannett responded quickly to any questions and we're proactive in sorting out a couple of issues. Our only issue was that linen was not provided, which is understood in Europe but not something we, being from the UK, we're familiar with. This could have been clearer in the listing, but was sorted very quickly once this misunderstanding had had been communicated.

Riktigt trevligt stuga i Gausta. Allting fungerade utmärkt, vi kunde laga mat, sova gott och ha det riktigt mysigt i stugan. Värt att nämna är shuttlen som går mellan skidbacken och stugan. Mycket bekvämt och praktiskt och alldeles gratis.

Supert overnattingssted. Cecilie svarte fort, og var veldig hjelpsom når vi lurte på noe. Anbefales!

Naprosto úžasné ubytovaní! Nemělo to žádnou chybičku, rádi bychom zůstali déle, abychom si to více užili. Cítili jsme se jako doma, pohodlné, útulné a teplé. Nemám žádné připomínky! Dekujeme 🩶

Fantastisk flott hytte! Vi koste oss masse i løpet av helgen, i nydelige omgivelser. Hytten hadde alt vi trengte, og det var en luksusfølelse over hytten. Veldig trist å reise, og ingen tvil om at vi alle vil tilbake hit!!

We had a fantastic time at Ulrika's beautiful cabin! It's very cozy, perfectly located within the Gausta ski resort and provides everything you'll need for a wonderful winter holiday. We absolutely recommend staying here, many thanks again to Ulrika and her family!

Hadde et fantastisk opphold i naturlige og rolige omgivelser. I tillegg ble vi veldig godt tatt vare på av Anne og hennes mor etter en liten familieulykke, som fortjener litt ekstra oppmerksomhet.😇 Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Vi var en vennegjeng som skulle gå langrenn i fjellet. Vi hade fine fjellturer og en fantastisk fin vistelse. Bratte isete veier opp till hytta og inget lys på hytta når vi kom fram i mörket. Men Mai-Britt var veldig hjelpsom og svarte raskt på telefonen så vi lett fant fram og var også behjelpelig med å ringe traktor for å bedre veiforholdene. Ellers veldig fin hytte som hadde alt vi trengte for en toppen uke i fjellet😊

Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse i Gaustablikk. Lägenheten var fin och fräsch och kommunikationen med Vidar var smidig. Rekommenderar att åka hit!

This cabin is just wonderful and our 2 families had an excellent stay. You can walk/ ski to the piste easily and there’s a great space for learners just there. Everything you need including a really good drying room/ store & sauna is there & the kitchen is well equipped and there’s games etc too. There is parking for 2 cars. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms lovely- we would all like to come back one day. Gausta is a small resort good for all types of skiing but also has a lovely hotel with great floating sauna/ bar. We drove to the telemark husky company at rauland ski area and stopped at a great cafe with huge snow play area on the way- would definitely recommend as a day out! Eric’s place was great- and he was super helpful

We had an absolutely amazing stay in Veggli. The cabin was nestled in the beautiful mountains, providing a peaceful and scenic escape. One of the biggest highlights of our trip was witnessing the northern lights dancing across the sky, an unforgettable experience. We also had so much fun playing in the snow, exploring the winter wonderland right outside the door. After a day of adventure, relaxing in the hot tub under the stars was the perfect! The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, making our stay even more enjoyable. The host was fantastic, providing everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a magical mountain getaway, and we would love to return.

En rigtig hyggelig hytte, med alt hvad man har brug for. Vi havde små børn med, der var en del ting stående der ikke var så børnevenlige, en stejl trappe, men ville jeg booke den igen, ja ingen tvivl. Sød vært. Rigtig godt sted til langrend, alpin er lidt mere besværligt, da man skal kører 2 km transport til en børnebakke. Indkøbsmuligheder er lidt langt fra hytten. Roligt område, med udsigt over bjergene i baggrunden, vi følte os som de eneste. Stor anbefalinger herfra.

Et utrolig flott sted som innbyr til rekreasjon og ro. Flott for de som trenger mye arbeidsro, en venninnegjeng og for barnefamilier. Noe for alle. Litt gåavstand fra bilen men dette visste vi om og vi gikk nesten tørrskodd på myrer og bekker fordi det var treklopper å gå på nesten helt fram til hytta. Nettet og tv fungerte utmerket. Noe dårlig nett på mobilen men det visste vi om fra opplysninger fra verten. Hytten var utstyrt med det meste og nesten ingenting var savnet. Jeg hadde en flott kommunikasjon med verten både før og under oppholdet og har gitt tilbakemelding på stedet i etterkant som ble tatt imot til vurdering for andre å vite. Turområdet rundt er vakkert med rikt fugleliv. Ta med gode sko, hvis man ferdes utenfor stien kan man lett bli våt på bena. Vi tok to turer, et til de to vannene i nærheten og et til en gammel sæter som også lå i nærheten. Vi hadde med hengekøyer, noe jeg synes er godt å dingle i under en rast. Vi var fire voksne men kunne lett være flere.

We were a group of 5 friends taking a skiing trip to Gaustablikk. The cabin met our needs perfectly. It is very conveniently situated on the ski slope and was spacious enough for us five. The cabin is in very good condition and was very clean and warm for our arrival. Sara and Björn provided us with all the information we needed before our trip and were very helpful in allowing us the check in early. Would highly recommend.
