Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lakeside

This was a wonderful, charming place. So easy to find and check in. It was absolutely clean and tidy. Check in and check out were easy. I was a little nervous at first for street parking in Richmond can be difficult, but it wasn't an issue at any time of the day or evening when we returned to the home. Sitting on the porch enjoying the weather after a day of touring the city was so pleasant. The area is peaceful and quiet. It is perfectly placed for access to all activities in Richmond but quiet and restful in the evening and sleeping, away from the hustle bustle of the city. We will happily stay again when the need arises.

Elisa was helpful & responsive right from the start. Her home was easy to find & in a wonderful, walkable neighborhood with everything you could ask for. It was a delightful experience & we look forward to future stays as our travel allows. Thank you for your part in making a great weekend!

This is a great home base for exploring Richmond! Lots of restaurants and museums within walking distance and everything else is a short drive. The home was clean, quiet, and charming. The beds were very comfortable!

This stay was incredibly special—it had been nearly six years since I last saw my son from California, and it was wonderful to gather my whole family together in one beautiful place. The home gave us the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere we needed to reconnect and truly enjoy our time together. It was clean, spacious, and filled with natural light. We cooked meals as a family, relaxed in the hot tub, and spent quiet time by the fire pit watching golfers pass by. The outdoor seating was just beautiful, and we even grilled one evening—it was perfect. The host was kind, responsive, and flexible, even helping me extend our stay when I needed one more day to catch my breath. This home gave us space to rest, laugh, and make meaningful memories. We’re so grateful for your hospitality!

This home and this neighborhood is old and completely charming. Walking inside through the front door just feels good— everything is tastefully furnished and decorated with just the right touch of modern amenities. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Truly well done and a big thank you to our hosts! Blair was so responsive and helpful. We loved our time here and would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing stay that allowed us to have a perfect Richmond weekend. We loved the neighborhood and sitting in the front porch as well as frequenting the local restaurants and coffee shops. Comfy bed and it was nice to have the space to relax or use the kitchen.

This home was absolutely perfect! Kay was super communicative as a host and so sweet to leave a few extra local goodies for us upon arrival. Our family felt so comfortable in the space and the property was beautiful. An amazing stay and an excuse to go to Virginia again!

I enjoyed my stay. Overall a really nice place. Cute street, very close to a lot of trendy shops and restaurants. Good interior design.

We stayed for a volleyball tournament. We were able to get there by walking in under 10 minutes. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. The canal walk is close and there is a playground across the street.

Had a great time! Essence was a wonderful host! Granted, we didn’t need anything extra, as everything was ready to go. The location was a great location, with many fun things to do. Though the area was loud, it was still a great situation.

I highly recommend Mary as a host and her beautiful cottage. I will definitely stay here again if I travel this way. She is a wonderful person and her place is immaculately clean, well equipped and peaceful.

I had a great time staying here, Shaniesha was very responsive and proactive in making sure I had all the information I needed to make my check in very easy. the airbnb was very comfortable and clean, plenty of stores and places to eat within a short walking distance. a very short and easy drive to most places in downtown Richmond. This listing made me look forward to visiting Richmond more often this summer.

We enjoyed our stay in Manchester very much! We had fun exploring the area, but it was also very close and convenient to downtown Richmond. The house is a nice size, and parking was easy. The mattresses were also very comfortable! Overall, a great stay.

Great little place with historic charm. Beautiful and quiet street, with lots of friendly neighbors. We only stayed one night, but it was perfect for our time there. It was close to our concert venue, coffee and restaurants. The owner was super with communication. Beds were comfortable and nice fenced back yard for our dogs.

Lovely, peaceful, deep in the woods. Sit on the back porch within sight of a pond, surrounded by trees, listen to the birds. Inside, clean and comfortable with everything we needed.

We had a lovely stay and created wonderful memories with our friends and family at this beautiful log cabin. This is the perfect place if you are looking for a remote getaway that is still easy access to Richmond, which has plenty to do. Our favorite was waking up and looking at the 3 horses, taking walks down to the river, and our kids playing together in the playroom, which has all the toys a kid could ever want. The home is absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly, helpful, and responsive. We would highly recommend staying here.

Had an amazing experience and was just what we needed. Fire pit and pizza was a great touch but the sauna really took it home. Inside was cozy and clean and we felt right at home. Large windows allowed lots of light in and we were able to relax, listen to the rain and read in comfort. Trevor was a super responsive host and answered questions when we had them and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at another of his properties - fantastic experience!
