Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lane County

What an amazing respite! This rustic loft is a welcomed change fom the uniformity of hotel travel. I gave us a feeling of calm, versus the normal "Let's Get Out of this room," feeling. We brought out teenager with us, so the additional room was fantastic, they had their own space to be with us while being private. The eclectic music selection fit right into the vibe of the house. For our first visit to Eugene, and having now experienced the city, this was the perfect place to stay.

Lovely new-feeling house on the back of a lot, much more than a "guest house." Clean and quiet, huge upstairs bedroom, and as noted by others the only bathroom is downstairs. Plenty of supplies and dishes and pots & pans. Great for a couple. Springfield is lovely in itself but also close enough to Eugene to be convenient if that's where you need to be. We had a nice stay and would return when passing through again!

This place was perfect as a home base to visit my nieces who are going to U of O. Very dog friendly although I will note you will need to leash your dogs to get to the backyard. Really responsive and helpful hosts. Thank you so much

This stay just raised the standard when we look for future Airbnbs. Location was close to downtown and campus but yet on a very quiet street in a lovely neighborhood. The 3 king beds were comfortable and everyone slept well. The two full bathrooms were clean and the water pressure in the shower was good. All of the furniture looks great but also was very functional and great to sit in. This place actually looks better in person than in the pictures ( which look great already). Kitchen is super nice with everything one could ask for. Washer and Dryer modern and work well. Shelly made the effort to have a local guide book that lists many things to do and some very good and interesting places to eat. Our future trips to Eugene will from now on begin with checking availability at Shelly’s.

Our group had a wonderful stay in this home! The close proximity to hot springs to enjoy in the morning and then the nearby private creek to enjoy in the hot afternoon was perfect. Highly recommend for a group to reconnect in nature.

Comfortable and modern house in a convenient part of town. Very close to grocery and dining. Felt like home and a great outdoor space.

Edward provided clear instructions and an abundance of local recommendations. He was responsive at every moment. Assisted with setting up the fire pit while we were out, so it would be ready when we arrived. The stay was an absolute delight, and the views were even better in person! I can't wait to come back!(:>

It was a great place for the 5 of us: 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The pool was fantastic for our first evening as it as very hot. The open living room was nice for watching movies together in the evening. Roku TV so using Netflix or Amazon was easy. Appreciated the washer and dryer so we could do a load of laundry too! Lovely and spacious, this place is fantastic! We had just the 2 of us, but even 4 people would feel like they have ample space. Plenty of indoor sitting space, and outdoor patio pretty and green. Feels very private. Noreen responded to our needs super graciously. Stays cool even without A/C and would be cozy in winter I am sure too. Very easy check in and out. I love parking spot and not long from parking to door. Neighborhood is pretty and walkable. Close to many grocery (3 min to Safeway), restaurants and U of O. Even on grad and dad weekend, traffic never a problem. We will be back!

The Nomad's Nest is in a beautifully wooded neighborhood, close to many hiking trails. It has all the amenities you might need in your home away from home. The best part is how quiet and peaceful the area is--just perfect for a good night's sleep!

Nice and peaceful stay in Springfield. We walked to the coffee shop and went for a run on the trail. We appreciated the amenities and complimentary goodies. I guess I missed that this was a duplex and all three beds share a bathroom, but it's a historic house and it worked out fine. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Springfield, which is just outside of Eugene.

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was very quiet and a very pretty spot. The apartment itself was very clean and well maintained and stocked well with amenities. I loved the little treat basket on the counter with some snacks. We were attending events at Hayward Field and found the walk there and back enjoyable. Just to note, it is an up hill walk back. We will be recommending this place to our friends and family if they are ever in the area and we look forward to our next stay there.

The listing is super transparent in what you are getting. The space was clean and the neighborhood seemed safe. The space is attached to other rentals, but we had no issues with the other guest.

Amazing scenery....beautiful home and best bed ever

Really enjoyed our midweek holiday! The home is just as described and quite spacious, we especially enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. Jana was quick to respond to a couple of questions we had in advance of and during our stay.

Beautifully unique home in a peaceful hilltop neighborhood full of trees and wildlife, only a 10 minute drive from the heart of Eugene. My entire family felt comfortable and at home here. And BeeBee may be the most attentive and thoughtful host we’ve had on Airbnb. This was truly a restful and restorative sanctuary.

I was here in September helping my daughter move in for her junior year, so staying chez Fiona to help her move out for the summer made a perfect bookend to the year. The perfect location, super cute, great amenities. Love this place!

This house is truly a sanctuary. The pictures do not do it justice. It's spacious, peaceful, and relaxing. We were in town for my son's track meet and this was such a lovely home to come back to at night for some peace and quiet. BeeBee was extremely accommodating and responsive, and even left us some drinks and treats to start out with. The home is equipped with everything you need. The outdoor spaces are lovely and we were visited by wild turkeys, deer, and lots of birds. We hope to return in future years.

Beautiful property in a perfect location for our needs! The yard was great with a beautiful garden and fruit trees, surrounded by all the local native plants like thimbleberry, blackberry, ca hazelnut, etc. Quiet location.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The place matches what the pictures are. It was clean, comfortable and, although we did not cook, the kitchen was well equipped. The best part was Ardyn, our host. She was very responsive and friendly. At one time, when we requested extra Klennex because a couple of our family members had bad allergies, she showed up at our door with a box of tissues, and with allergy medication! We will definitely consider staying at this place next time we visit Eugene again.
