The Writer’s Retreat in the Idyllic Park Circus

Stand at the bay window and gaze out at stunning views across to the hills. The studio has double-height ceilings with a stylish mezzanine bedroom level. It boasts original features, including ornate cornicing and a decorative fireplace. The space is around 45m squared with double height ceilings. The cornicing is ornate and original, you could stare at it for hours! The enormous bay window gives stunning views out to the hills, and at night time the city below lights up like a Christmas tree. Large wooden shutters on either side of the window fold out to give you the privacy you need in the evenings. The mezzanine bed is extremely comfortable and there is ample storage space for clothing and suitcases in the large wardrobe as you enter on the right. In the bottom drawer inside the wardrobe you will find an iron, hairdryer and hair straighteners. We provide shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom which features a gorgeous roll top bath, shower and underfloor heating. If you want to get cosy in the evening you can light the log burner. The kitchen has a washing machine which you are welcome to use and you should find plenty of tea, coffee, cereal and biscuits there too. You can access the entire property As I live in London my space is managed by my neighbour and co-host Pip! The studio is on Woodlands Terrace, arguably the most stunning street in Glasgow. Situated directly on Kelvingrove Park, the river Kelvin at the foot of the park is ideal for running and walking. The Botanic Gardens are a short walk along the riverside, and the Kelvingrove Museum, Huntarian Museums, the Centre for Contemporary Art and the Museum of transport are at a stones throw. The flat is less than a 10 minute walk from the amazing restaurants and bars of Argyle street and Great Western Road. You will never be bored here! The great thing about the property is that everything you could want from the city is really on your doorstep, but you are also very close to the underground at Kelvinbridge, and the overland train taking you out of the city at Charing Cross. Parking is residents only / Pay Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm but free on evenings and weekends. Alternative parking can be found on streets nearby during the week. If you fancy getting out of the city the Loch Lomond National Park is a 30 minute drive away and stunning Glen Coe around 2 hours. Please note, check in and check out is not available on the 25th of December and the 1st of January.

This artist and architect-designed house is clad in larch and well insulated with wool felts. The access to the separate loft of our eco-house is via an external staircase. A large south facing window in the main room overlooks the front garden and Shiplaw burn. There is a separate workspace/single bedroom for an extra guest. We are located within one of the biggest habitat restoration projects in Europe and are five minutes walk from a regular bus service to Edinburgh and across the Borders.

Welcome to this stylish little jewel of tranquility, centrally located flat, in the west end of Glasgow. Our attic flat has a maximum capacity for 2 adults, but is also perfect for a small family e.g 2 adults & an infant. The blonde sandstone, category A listed townhouse is around 150 years old. There are about 74 steps up to the flat door (which includes a quirky 21 step spiral stair at the end) and there isn’t a lift. The 180 year old Botanic Gardens are about 100yds away.

We had a great few days in Ame's flat in Perth. Very central & perfect for what we needed. Had a good little kitchen with everything we needed for a few days. Managed to park nearby most days. Loft in Hexham

The Hay Loft

The Hayloft was a great find in the beautiful Northumbrian countryside and we had a great stay there over Christmas . The hosts responded quickly to any queries and there was a lovely welcome pack on our arrival. The accomadation is very clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. The kitchen area is well stocked therefore, cooking is easy to do. The log burner was a bonus and made the accommodation extra cosy. It is a good base to visit friends and family in the area. Dog friendly, plenty of local walks and only a short drive about 20 minutes to Hexham and Corbridge. The Angel Inn in Corbridge is dog friendly and the food is good too. We will definitely be visiting again.

We had an extremely enjoyable week at this delightful barn conversion. It was perfect for our needs; close to Edinburgh for sightseeing during the daytime , comfortable and cozy for relaxing in the evenings. Kitchen was well stocked and we loved the wood burning stove. We really appreciated the welcome package of fresh farm eggs, biscuits and tea and coffee. Communication with Chris was great and we would highly recommend this property.

I can’t say enough good things about this incredible space. It is absolutely stunning—modern, beautifully designed, and filled with character. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to make you feel at home, from the cozy furnishings to the high-quality amenities. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, and the entire space is warm and calm after a busy day exploring. Leith is such a vibrant, creative part of Edinburgh, and we were within walking distance of amazing restaurants, cafes, the waterfront, and the tram. Communication with the Fitch and Arya was flawless—warm, responsive, and genuinely caring. They clearly go above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need for a memorable stay. I can’t recommend this space enough! We can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The host was super responsive and made us feel right at home. Great location with panoramic views of the Ochils and easy access to local attractions, including Wallace Monument, Dunblane Cathedral, Deanston Distillery and more. Will be back to spend more time here and explore the area better. Highly recommend!

It was quite a short but nice stay at Mark’s for we stayed only for a wedding nearby. Nevertheless the place matched our needs perfectly as it is located just right in the centre of Perth and you can reach everything by foot. Parking the car wasn’t the best but I’d recommend to everyone a little privat car park in Blackfriars Wynd just a few minutes north of the address by foot. They have fair and flexible prices for the day. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for the most central flat to stay for a few nights in Perth.

Douglas is an absolutely delightful host and his flat is amazing! We felt welcome and at home right away and Douglas was so kind and accommodating. Everything was explained well and our private area upstairs was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, and beautifully designed and decorated.....we wish we could have stayed longer!
