I had a lovely stay in Midlothian. The house was clean, peaceful, and very comfortable. It was a perfect base to explore Edinburgh and the surrounding area. The host was friendly and helpful, and everything was just as described. I truly enjoyed the stay and would love to return in the future. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Curlew Cottage. Daniele was so welcoming and friendly that we soon felt at home in the warm and comfortable cottage with everything you need. It is wonderfully peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside for walks or relaxing with a good book. We would have liked to have stayed longer and would love to go back again. Great place to explore Linlithgow and surrounding area. Lovely cafes and restaurants in the town centre. Michael was a great host, friendly and helpful. The property itself was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage is very cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Our toddler especially loved exploring outside and had a great time running around the old Kirk next door. A lovely, peaceful spot—we’d definitely stay again!

I have no word that truly captures this place. It is centrally located for folks who want to explore the highlands, lowlands and anywhere in between. The home was SO cozy and Maggie welcomed us like family, sharing her local knowledge of the best places to visit, great scenic routes to get there, and absolutely THE best restaurants around. The home had comfy bedding, a cozy living room complete with wood burning stove for those chilly nights, and a oversized tub to soak away the day. Maggie even had milk and orange juice in the refrigerator waiting for our coffee and tea. The scenery is second to none, surrounded by picturesque hills and a view of the Loch. I could stay here forever.

This was our second stay here. Its in such a beautiful location & has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The breakfast was incredible! Thank you!

Great stay in Dalgety Bay with easy trains into Edinburgh. The house was clean, quiet, and comfortable and Julie was a really responsive host.

What stunning views and such a tranquil location. Loved our stay and hosts were so accommodating when we were a little late and they opened up for our grocery delivery driver! We are a family of four with a dog and loved using the enclosed garden, bbq and fire pit. Beds are comfortable and showers are super. Even the sofa bed is great! Would stay again. We had a lovely weekend staying here with our nieces. The house was perfect for us, comfortable and clean. The hot tub with a view was just lovely. We also used the pool and sauna a few times, really nice to have that on site. Rebecca and her husband were extremely friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay again!

Honeymug provided the perfect backdrop for our group of six meeting up to reminisce about college days forty odd years ago! The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the welcome basket of goodies was indeed most welcome! Very comfortable beds to sleep off the long, coastal walks and swims in the indoor pool. We ate in The Bosk on our last evening and enjoyed it very much, having sampled the Friday evening pizzas too! Everyone was a fan of the outdoor jacuzzi, which we booked each evening and whirled away an hour chatting to the various local members we shared it with! Everyone was so friendly and we learned a lot about the area. Highlights were our boat trip to Inner Farne, an afternoon with the Chillingham cattle, and a day spent on the beautiful and peaceful Lindisfarne. We left feeling there was so much else to discover and we'll hope to be back to do just that! Many thanks John!

From the minute we stepped in the door we wanted to stay longer than we had booked! Frederika and Agnes were super flexible about dropping off luggage earlier in the day, and the apartment was lovely .... excellent finishes, comfortable beds, plenty of room for the 5 of us to hang out. We enjoyed the pool and were sorry our schedule didn't allow us to climb to the rooftop terrace. The bathtubs were huge and the shower heads modern and very much loved by my weary gang. There are great little Italian restaurants and a bakery within a blocks of the apartment, and the Co-op (a block away) has an excellent selection of fresh and frozen food. It was an easy walk to the Tram and a variety of coffee shops as well. The apartment overlooks the square where you can take a picnic lunch or dinner onto the green space - also no time to do but a great feature. I will definitely be back!!!

Murray's place was warm comfortable and a delight to stay in. It was well appointed and beautifuly clean. To be strongly recommended.

wee booked this on the day and david was very helpful emailing over local amenities (pubs, restaurants, shops etc) that can be located. Instructions for check in/out was easily followed. The Lodge is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Pictures do not do this justice. The smell from walking through the front door was amazing with the diffusers dotted around the lodge. Bedding was crisps and smelling lush. The whole inside decor and home to home feel was magical. Tv has Netflix and prime which was ideal to watch at night to relax after being in the hot tub. Hot tub was all ready for us arriving. What made this for us was the hot tub was undercover (it rained when we were here). Lovely outside patio furniture and it's beautifully lit up with lights all around the lodge and the surrounding areas. Aaron miniature products are in the bathroom to be used which smell divine. Alot of thought has been put into these lodges. I will definitely be back! thank you for everything :)

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s cosy holiday caravan! From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home. The caravan was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A special thank you to Mary for being such an attentive and thoughtful host—especially for quickly refilling the gas cylinders when needed. It made such a difference and showed how much she genuinely cares about her guests’ comfort. Mary, you’re the best host we’ve ever had 😀, and we’d absolutely love to visit again. Highly recommended! Excellent wee place. Fantastic location with views of Loch Venachar and lots of wildlife around. Nice little kitchen with dishwasher. Spotlessly clean. Host was very easy to communicate with. Would stay again.

Perfect location! The apartment is on a quiet street near many walkable coffee shops and dining. Also, it’s a nice walk to other popular locations like the Royal Mile and Dean’s Village. The hosts were great - very helpful and responsive. The apartment is very nice. The apartment looks like the pictures, has an adorable outdoor space, and includes all the amenities listed. My husband, friends, and I would stay here again during our next visit!

Gardener’s Cottage is the perfect place to get away from it all. Brilliant for couples and families. Alexandra is a superb host, very helpful and gave us a tour of the castle which was incredibly interesting. Cannot recommend Alexandra or Monzie Estate highly enough.

Fantastic stay at the Coach House - thanks Kirsty! Set in a beautiful and peaceful location but very accessible to get into Edinburgh city centre and to explore other areas within East Lothian! Local highlight was Humbie Woods - ancient woodland on the other side of the village. During our 3 night stay with two children we visited Dalkeith Country park (for the adventure fort and Go Ape), Vogrie Country park, North Berwick, and Longniddry. Plenty to see and do!

We stayed in Donald’s beautiful cottage for 5 nights. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and spacious. Beautiful location overlooking the sea, nice pub across the road, easy access to Edinburgh city centre by bus. No problem with parking. 5 star experience overall. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home in a beautiful place, would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet escape in a beautiful location. Melissa was helpful and friendly throughout, we’ll be back.
