The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. The open plan lounge and living area has full width bi-fold doors, which allows the space to be fully opened up to feel like part of the woodland beyond. The main bedroom boasts sliding french doors, also overlooking the woodland and stream, with a bath placed to enjoy this view. There is a private terrace and patio area to enjoy al-fresco dining or star-gazing.

It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. Unfortunately no dogs/children/infants are allowed. Oak Tree Hut is situated on our working sheep farm in Dumfries and Galloway. The views from the hut looks over St John’s Town of Dalry and up onto the Rhinns of Kells. Lie in bed watching the sunrise and sit on the verandah or soak in the outside bath while watching the sunset. Watch the bird life and livestock peacefully fly and amble by. The hut has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Here guests can enjoy the privacy of a peaceful get away, but have the convenience of being located just 1 mile from the traditional Scottish market town of Biggar, only 1 hour to Edinburgh and Stirling and just 40 minutes to the heart of the Scottish Borders.
