Great place to stay-close to everything. Enjoyed the beach and entertained our Marine boys from Pendleton! Hope to stay again!

Beautiful location across the street from the beach. Slept so well after a day with sun and sand, listening to the waves. Clean, nicely decorated. Had everything we needed for our trip.

Both Christopher and his home are great! You are a street away from the ocean, a runners and cyclists paradise location, so many shops near you and a quiet neighborhood. Such a cozy escape. The dogs also loved it from exploring the yard to a peaceful place inside to rest. We will be back!!

Place was great, walking distance to everything. Kimmy was very responsive and everything worked perfectly.

Spent 2 nights here and it was great! It was so close to the beach it was probably a <1 minute walk. It is close to the train station as well as the lively part of town. Lots of food and bars near by. Place was clean and we brought our 2 dogs and it was nice it had a front patio to hang out at. Everything was smooth checking in and out and the hosts were super kind and responsive. I would probably suggest updating some thing about the place, but other than that it was a peaceful stay. ✌️

We had a fantastic stay at this home! The house was spotless, spacious, and incredibly family-friendly — perfect if you're traveling with kids. The pool was a huge hit, and the location couldn't have been better: close to great parks, the Oceanside Pier, and plenty of restaurants and shops. We felt right at home and truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches. Highly recommend this rental — we're already looking forward to booking again!

We loved how close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants, and coffee shops. We also enjoyed bringing our dog who loved the outdoor patio we would definitely stay again. Cute place and very clean.

Second time staying here, would probably even stay more often if pets were allowed! Either way, this place is absolutely the best. Great views, tons of space, near the pier, and on and on. Its walking distance to everything and just far enough away to not be a zoo all day. Just book it, this is it.

Beautiful home with plenty of space. Vanessa was very responsive and helpful with check in. I had made a request to check in early due to travelling with an infant and when I arrived she had a packnplay and a high chair set up for me. The house had several toys/books for kids along with beach chairs and shades for us to use. The pool and spa was beautiful and kept very clean. There is also a walking path at the end of the street that goes along the beach and leads to pacific beach within 15-20 minutes. Its hard to find a house this spacious and close to pacific beach for this price, would highly recommend to anyone. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive to messages which is always nice when travelling from far away.

The unit was well equipped having everything we needed. Owner was helpful and proactive. We didn't have any issues. The community deck over the ocean was fantastic. The beach here is wide enough to never have to worry about low tide or high tide. The unit provides a private stairway to the beach, while it is also a distance to get to for the public, resulting in an amazing beach with no crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and perfect for my sister and I to take our families on a vacation. Lots of space for the 4 and 6 year old girls to play and the adults to relax. Will definitely look to come back in the future!

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

Great place! Especially if traveling with kids. Very clean and has all the comforts of home. The yard is a bonus for letting little ones play. Mari was helpful and accommodating and easy to communicate with. My family was actually set to stay at another one of their properties but at the last minute, (and due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control), we were unable to stay at the original booking. But Mari was quick to reach out to me and was very helpful at getting us booked at another location. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Our stay at this property surpassed our expectations in so many ways! The photos didn't reflect how beautiful, clean, spacious, and private our airbnb was. There was so much for our family of 7 to enjoy during our 3 day stay, together & individually. Our kids enjoyed swinging on the swings, going up on their loft to get the beautiful ocean views, lounging around in their pool, and walking around & exploring all the nature that surrounds this home. We were really impressed with the Spanish modern design of this home and the cohesiveness of the modern and traditional design elelments-it made for stunning photos! The host resoonded promptly to every one of our question; they reponsed within the hour to every one of our questions.

The house and pool were perfect for our family gathering with our children and grandchildren. The kitchen was well equipped, including staples for cooking. The outdoor grill and pool area were great. There were pool toys and games available as well. We really appreciated how dog and kid friendly the house was, and how comfortable the seating areas and spaces were for hanging out. This was exceptional. We have rented many places and this was the best. Views of the ocean were incredible and could be easily enjoyed from the living and dining rooms and the porch. The furniture was comfortable and the space was sparkling clean. There was incredible storage space and hooks to meet all of our needs. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to enjoy fresh fish without going out for every meal and the food stand outside on the street was convenient.

Perfect home for a family of 5 for a SoCal vacation! Home has everything you need and was so very relaxing whether we were hanging inside or outside. Front has a beautiful porch to sit and enjoy rocking chairs with our morning coffee and in the evening, an outdoor big couch for all of us to sit around the firepit for smores and cocktails. Quick walk to the beach and short easy walks to Carlsbad Village to eat, shop, etc. Mimi & Hank referrals to restuarants were spot on! Finally, easy ride to San Diego for zoo, and some delicious Mexican food. Thank you Mimi & Hank for making our annual family vacation absolutely perfect!

We enjoyed the house immensely! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up a meal, the beds were very comfortable, and both the front and backyard were nice for relaxing. We travel with our dog so we really appreciated the enclosed back yard, and the park right across the street was lovely for a morning and evening walk. It was a very warm week in Carlsbad so we spent most of our time on the shady side front yard. So many Airbnbs have plastic chairs for outdoors, we greatly appreciated the comfortable chairs in both the front and back yard. I was worried about the small air conditioner because it was such a hot week, but it worked great! Everything was perfect for us!

What a great place! A gem! Walking distance to many bars, restaurants, coffee shops, bike rentals, and the beach. I’ll definitely be back!

Our stay was great. Beautiful home and beautiful views. We went with two other families and each family basically had their own floor which worked out perfect. Would highly recommend!

This home was perfect for my husband and I. I could see us living here. The view is perfect!! We had a private patio and beach area. Sean, our local contact, was super nice and responded quickly the couple of times I texted him. We would love to stay here again ❤️ If I had one bad thing to say it's the parking, but that can't be helped by the owner. It's California and parking is horrible everywhere! But it sure is a beautiful state!!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and beautifully decorated, it had such a warm, welcoming feel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. We especially enjoyed spending time on the balcony in the peaceful, quiet neighborhood. The home had everything we needed, with all the amenities thoughtfully provided. Jonathan was a great host, very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
