Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Parma

As others have said—all of the reviews are spot on! A unique setting in the countryside about 30 minutes drive to Parma on mountain roads, beautiful historic building and grounds (with tastefully updated bathrooms to go with the historic charm, plus even a clothes washer and dryer you can access, a rarity in Italy), and a consummate host in Maria Teresa. Using her knowledge and connections to get personalized tours of smaller local parmigiano and prosciutto factories was a real highlight, and we especially enjoyed the nearby Torrechiara castle as well. The kids loved her animals too. 10/10 stay!

Questa è la terza volta che siamo da Maria Cristina e Elisa. Sempre perfetto! Questa volta eravamo in 5 ma siamo venuti anche in coppia, soli con il cane, etc. è proprio un Oasis di relax, con buone viste e privacy. Vorremo venire al meno una volta al mese! La casa al interno è bella, ha tutti i dettagli per farla diventare una casa propria.

Il posto è SPLENDIDO e l’alloggio bello come nelle foto e curatissimo nei dettagli e nella pulizia; consigliatissimo quindi, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo👍 ATTENZIONE, oltre a non esserci Wi-Fi come specificato nell’inserzione, NON C’È CAMPO PER I TELEFONI nella stanza e in tutto il paese. Si può accedere alla connessione Wi-Fi della casa di Francesco in paese, ma bisogna recarvisi, la connessione non arriva fino alla stanza, quindi se dovete lavorare da remoto, essere reperibili o avete cose da fare che richiedono la connessione mentre siete in viaggio, non è comodo. A parte questo posto magico per chi ama il romanticismo e la natura e nel bnb persone bellissime e trattamento di grande ospitalità ! 🏆😜 Consigliatissimo 👍🏆🏆🏆

Een fantastisch verblijf met adembenemende uitzichten welke nooit zullen vervelen. Vanaf deze locatie heb je de mogelijkheid om vele bezienswaardigheden te bezoeken (Bologna, Modena, proeverijen, hikes etc), om vervolgens weer echt ‘thuis’ te komen. Bedankt voor het delen van deze magische plek en de enorme gastvrijheid Paul en Ruth.

Federica’s home was absolutely amazing. We were welcomed with genuine hospitality and treated with the utmost respect. The house was in perfect condition and offered several beautiful, relaxing outdoor spaces. We've stayed in many vacation rentals, but this was by far the best—so comfortable and inviting, we truly felt like family.

We stayed for 2 days at Silvias lovely house and wish we could have stayed for longer. It has been beautifully decorated and furnished and has everything you need for a special stay. Everything was SUPER clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in (and is huge!). Silvia and her husband are really thoughtful, friendly and helpful, with lots of suggestions for the area. Good walks and cycle routes from the door. There is a small pottery nearby where the ceramicist will provide private lessons, and of course there are lots of opportunities to buy prosciutto and parmigiano reggiano! This was a wonderful, relaxing stay and we highly, highly recommend Silvias house. thank you Silvia and Joris xx

Really lovely place, we felt right at home. Elena was always very responsive and helpful with everything, check-in and out was easy. Internet was fast and reliable with decent workspaces. We really appreciated the little details of having things like oil and herbs, etc, to use in the kitchen, rather than many bare bones Airbnbs that just have salt. Kitchen was very well equipped with pretty much everything you could need. Location is great, numerous stores in the area, including grocery stores, everything is very walkable. The only slightly negative thing is the bed is pretty noisy and squeaky when just shifting positions, which can be difficult if your partner is a light sleeper. But we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we ever find ourselves in Parma -- and hopefully we do, because the food is incredible!

We had a great stay! The apartment was exactly as described, with all the promised amenities in perfect working order. The host was very communicative and provided clear instructions for everything, which made the whole experience smooth and easy. The location is excellent, and overall we had no complaints. Highly recommended!

Great place. Convenient location, although a bit tricky to reach by car. We ended up parking 8 min away and carrying our luggage. Would be nice to know in advance how to reach the side road for unloading. The place itself is spacious and comfortable, even though it is very echo-y. Air conditioning works beautifully.

Alloggio molto familiare, eravamo al quarto piano con ascensore, piccolo balcone in cucina con tavolino e sedie , ottimo per fare colazione all'aperto e fumare . Appartamento con 2 bagni. Possibilità di parcheggiare in garage se non si trova parcheggio in strada .

Un oasi di pace e serenità lontana dal caos e dal rumore.Appena arrivati a casa di Emilio ci è sembrato di essere stati catapultati in un altra epoca.Fieno...verde...cavalli...galline ed un simpatico leprottino che corre in giro per il podere...godere di tutto questo non ha prezzo.Grazie Emilio per la serenità che la tua casa ci ha regalato.

The space itself is spectacular—steeped in history, beautifully preserved, and bursting with classic charm. But the real highlight of our visit was Chiara herself. She is hands-down the most gracious, warm, and attentive host we’ve ever encountered. Even better, Chiara’s local recommendations elevated our stay to another level. Il soggiorno in questo alloggio è stato davvero impeccabile! La casa era esattamente come descritta: curata nei dettagli e dotata di tutti i comfort necessari per sentirsi come a casa. La posizione era in una zona tranquilla e a pochi passi dal centro storico, ideale per esplorare la città senza stress. L’host è stato disponibile, gentile e attento a ogni esigenza. Ha fornito indicazioni utilissime su ristoranti e mezzi pubblici, dimostrandosi sempre presente ma mai invadente. Apprezzatissima anche l’attenzione ai piccoli dettagli: era presente qualcosa da mangiare per colazione, capsule per il caffè... Consiglierei questo alloggio senza esitazioni a chiunque cerchi un’esperienza comoda e ben organizzata.

Alloggio davvero super confortevole e ben curato, potersi godere il tramonto sul terrazzo è davvero una chicca! Nicola è un Host molto attento, gentile e sempre disponibile per ogni cosa. Consigliamo a tutti questo alloggio!

We enjoyed staying in the suite. Great location and the hostess was very nice and responsive. Comfortable bed and great views

Quiet place just outside of the busy central city at walkable to everything you want to see. A big plus is the private parking space but be aware that anything bigger than a compact car will be difficult to park there. The wireless was a little finicky to get onto at first, but once we restarted the router and seemed to work fine thereafter. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The air conditioning cooled the entire apartment to a comfortable temperature and the double glazing made the bedroom. Very quiet for sleeping. Good choice, especially if you have a car!

Der Check-In und Check-Out waren, auch durch die Hilfe Michelas Englisch-sprechendem Sohn, sehr einfach und verständlich. Der Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage ist ein großes Plus! Die Wohnung war äußerst sauber und es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen Kurzurlaub benötigt. Die direkte Umgebung ist nicht allzu schön, aber zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus ist man schnell in der Innenstadt und kann diese genießen. Alles in allem würde ich die Wohnung auf aufgrund des guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses weiterempfehlen!

Un viaggio scelto quasi per gioco con la mia ragazza Oriana, tre giorni di emozioni e sensazioni meravigliose da portarsi a casa. Assunta ed Ivan, con la loro Matilde (cagnolina stupenda e di straordinaria dolcezza), ci hanno trasportato in un sogno, dall'accoglienza calorosa, alle piccole attenzioni. E se i dettagli fanno la differenza, e la fanno eccome, qui di dettagli ve ne sono moltissimi, dalla pulizia del luogo, alle colazioni pazzesche! Un progetto, quello del loro B&B, di una straordinaria bellezza. Fin dall'entrata si susseguono profumi meravigliosi, dalla lavanda alla paglia secca; i colori sono terrosi, naturali, sinceri, un po' come il loro sorriso. È stato stupendo chiacchierare con loro di qualsiasi cosa. Vi consigliamo di apprendere quanto più c'è da sapere sul posto e sui dintorni. Ci sono storie meravigliose in quelle valli colme di natura, e sono lì a pochi passi. Questo posto straordinario merita davvero di essere visto, ma soprattutto vissuto. Consigliatissimo!
