Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in Santa Croce, Florence

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is in a beautiful, historic neighborhood, that is a joy to walk. It has interesting history that Max shared when he greeted us upon arrival. We are thankful for the clear directions and Max greeting us on arrival. He was also extremely responsive when we arrived 30 min earlier than expected. So much to do in Florence that a two day stay wasn’t enough time. We hope to be back.

From the moment we arrived Leonardo and Gabriela were just above and beyond what any other air bnb we have stayed in. They had wine, water, a huge chocolate egg and the typical Italian bread for Pasqua for us to enjoy. Fruit, walnuts, eggs….just above and beyond! The local restaurants are absolutely amazing! Some is the best food in Florence. Podere, Gualtieri for breakfast and espresso, the pizza place, S’Brino is the best gelato in the city! A quiet place that is close to everything and with views of the city that are un matched. Look no further, book this amazing paradise in Florence now!

I was really happy with our decision to stay here. When our flight was delayed 6 hrs and we ended up arriving close to midnight, we were greeted by the co-host (above and beyond!) who showed us into the apartment and quickly explained everything. The space was as described and so nice to have three bedrooms for our family (parents and college age). There were thoughtful amenities including wine, coffee, juice and most important for the 90+ degree days - water. The location was wonderful too, close to restaurants and shops but not the busiest part of the city. The co-host also kindly offered to arrange a taxi for our departure and all went to plan. I appreciate Eugenio and his co-host for the warmth and care they showed during our visit. I hope to be able to stay there on another trip to Florence someday.

이 숙소는 7명이 사용하기에 적합했습니다. 호스 트는 방문 전부터 활발히 의사소통을 하여 불편함이 없도록 도와주었습니다. 교통 문제로 체크인 시간이 뒤로 미뤄졌지만 호스트는 불편한 기색 없이 우리를 환하게 맞이해주고 숙소를 설명해주었습니다. 위치는 도시 중앙과는 가깝진 않지만, 평화롭게 우리만의 시간을 가지기 좋았습니다. 수건도 넉넉히 제공되었고, 숙소도 넓고 깨끗하여 문제 없었습니다.

Great location, easy to walk off the train and right across the street to the residence. The building was quiet and you’d never know it was close to the train station. Safe entry, walking distance to everything in Florence, and was grateful that Emmanuela met us at the property and gave us instructions on how to enter the building and how to use the amenities in the house. Very clean property and comfortable

Alessandro was a great host. Really friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. Also there was a really cute dog, that gave kisses every morning! The area is cute, quiet and local, and we were within walking distance from the wedding, we were going to. The price is really good for everything that you get from this place! Thank you for having us ❤️

Una casa da favola! Noi ci siamo trovati benissimo in tutto e per tutto, la casa sa proprio di famiglia, oltre la pulizia impeccabile è curata nei minimi dettagli, ti fa proprio sentire come se fossi a casa anzi forse anche meglio. Non mancava nulla, per non parlare del meraviglioso giardino. E per visitare i vari borghi toscani è proprio nel mezzo quindi non bisogna fare nemmeno troppa strada per visitarli. Comodissimo. Quindi grazie mille Elisabetta e Leonardo, davvero. È sicuramente un arrivederci.

Très bon séjour. La maison est très agréable et la vue est magnifique. Nous avons pu depuis la maison visiter Pise, Sienne et Volterra, trois villes magiques. On en a pris plein les yeux pendant une semaine.

We loved our stay in this beautiful vacation home, perfectly located in the peaceful Tuscan countryside. Sandra is a very attentive host, she was always available for any questions and proactively communicated making the check in process very easy. The house is well appointed. I would like to point out though that only one of the bedrooms has total privacy as the other two bedrooms can only be closed off by a curtain. This contributed to its charm as a lot of the old features of the house were preserved, and wasn't a problem for us. We definitely would come back. Thank you Sandra.

We stayed in the villa for 3 weeks with my family (2 young kids) and it was absolutely perfect!!! Francesca was an incredible host, fantastic communication. The house itself was beautiful, clean and the pool was just magic. Close to Florence and all the wonderful towns nearby, we can’t recommend this place enough. Would stay again without hesitation.

A beautiful property to stay in while exploring this wonderful city. We had a very late check in & Matteo & Suzanna were so accommodating. The home is a fantastic place of calm & coolness after a hot day spent in a busy city. Great local places to eat & artisan makers… thank you we loved Flora & would recommend & love to return someday .

After being scammed by a con artist who advertised a villa that was derelict we found ourselves with nowhere to go to celebrate my mother in laws 60th birthday. We had a Grandmother over 80 and two children under 3, nine people in total and absolutely no idea where to stay. After a desperate search on air bnb, we found this beautiful villa. Having auto-booked it, we crossed our fingers and hoped we wouldn’t be disappointed when we arrived the next day. I can safely say, we were not. The house is absolutely phenomenal. Beautiful, spotlessly clean and so stylish. It manages to be spacious and airy while retaining a coziness and Tuscan charm that we were originally looking for. Our host, was charming and accommodating. He gave us the privacy to enjoy his home while still being on hand for anything we might need. The bedrooms are beautiful and the beds were very comfortable with crisp linens and fans in each for those hot Italian nights. The swimming pool is enormous, perfect temperature and CLEAN thanks to both the man who came to clean it for us and the little robot that chugs around the bottom when we weren’t using it. The kitchen facilities are top notch and our gorgeous host left us a basket with ingredients to make fresh Italian pasta with basil for our first day. He also popped down with a bottle of champagne for the birthday celebration. So kind and thoughtful. The house is in a wonderful village with an exquisite little restaurant nearby that serves some of the best pasta I’ve ever had. Situated under an hour from Pisa, Florence and Lucca it’s ideal for day trips. We had an absolutely unforgettable time and if you come to Tuscany I can not recommend this property enough. Thank you to our beautiful host for making the week so perfect. Ciao!

Flavia est une hôte charmante et très attentionnée. Sa maison est magnifique, c'est une maison de famille fin XIXème, très belle, avec de grandes pièces, de jolis meubles, des terrasses avec une vue superbe sur les collines de Toscane. Sa maison est idéale pour une visite en famille de la Toscane l'été, car située en altitude, elle garde des températures agréables, même en période de grosse chaleur. Enfin, le village de Saltino est sympathique et animé, avec des commerces, des cafés et des restaurants, et la forêt tout autour.

Apartamento delicioso, bem em frente da Estação Firenze Rifridi. Tem uma cafeteria divina ao atravessar a rua e um restaurante muito gostoso embaixo. Patrizia foi super gentil com tudo, uma fofa. Volto com certeza

This fantastic apartment is conveniently located just a stone's throw from the train station, making it easy to get around. It's also within walking distance of the main attractions. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful, truly enhancing our overall experience during the stay.

Martina was so kind and helpful, she even gave us a brief tour of the apartment upon check in. She ensured we knew where everything was located and she has a binder of any information needed. We enjoyed the seating area in front for breakfast and coffee. We loved how close the apartment is from the train station so we could walk to and from to save us time and some money. The location is very walkable to many restaurants, shops and sights. We loved that there is a grocery store near by and also a "sight seeing bus" stop around the corner. We found the bedding comfortable and the apartment felt safe. Everything is very nice and ready for guests who may decide to have a meal in vs going out too.

We loved our stay here! The beds were really comfy, very cozy and calm interior. With lots of cool vintage pieces all over the house to look at. The apartment was super close to the city, took us maybe 20 minutes max to get to and from most of our desired locations. And Adriana was so sweet, she even left some little treats in the house for us. I saw some complaints of noise, but Florence is a city like any other, it has night life. For us being from NY this wasn’t a bother at all. It was still a relatively quiet street and still close to downtown. We slept great every night we were there :)

We loved our stay at Federico's place. Federico was responsive and very helpful, and very friendly in all interactions. His apartment was comfortable, clean, bright and had everything we needed. It is located in a bustling area close to everything but inside it is very quiet and can be made very dark with blockout shutters which was ideal for us with our baby. We would definitely stay here again!

Leonardo was incredible helpful and an absolute delight. You can tell he is house proud, the place was peaceful and beautiful. I would go back.

Anna was a fantastic host, who treated us with the upmost respect and kindness. While her place is a bit difficult to find at first, once you're there, you're in one of the most beautiful scenes we've seen during our time in Italy. Also, it was close enough that we were still early able to travel into Florence each day we were there. Anna was so nice in providing us with breakfast each morning, which included apricot jam from her fruit trees and homemade bread. We would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay outside of the busy city.

We've stayed in many nice AirBnbs, but few have truly made us feel as comfortable and at home as this place did. Very easy walk to the main piazza with shopping and cafes. 6 min walk from a lovely park with a weekly farmer's market. Food and coffee on the same block, and near a large grocery store. Nice desk/work space, good air conditioning. One thing to note is you have to climb four flights of stairs and there's no elevator. Also, the couch is small for 2 people. Still, we would stay here again.
