Vacation home in the Black Forest by the lake "Backhäusle"

In the "Backhäusle" (bakery), the grain was formerly processed and bread was baked in a wood-burning stove. For a long time, the house on our pond was no longer given any importance, but now it shines as a vacation home in new splendor and still reminds us of days gone by. It is located a little off the beaten path from our Schwarzwaldhof and the other farm buildings. Our farm also includes our dairy cows, which are kept together with a friendly family. The stable is also located separately.

The bright basement apartment(basement) in Freiburg-West is quietly located in a 30 km/h zone. It offers Wi-Fi, smart TV and is allergy friendly with tile floors. Linens and towels are furnished. An outdoor seating area invites you to relax. The swimming lake (former state garden show grounds and recreational area is 5 minutes away, the university clinic and trade fair is about 10 minutes away. Public transport is within walking distance, Europa-Park in about 30 minutes. Parking free incl.

Wireless in all rooms. 3 minutes walk to the tram. 13 min. by train to the center, 10 min. to the train station. Swimming lake, 8 minutes walk.

The house with courtyard and garden (built in 1718), offers a glimpse of past times. It can be found in the picturesque Vogtsburg district of Burkheim and is listed as a monument. In 1.5 km away is a large swimming lake. Numerous excursion destinations are within a 30 km radius. France is just a few km away, Europapark and Freiburg are popular destinations. In the Auenwald and in the vineyards, there are romantic hiking trails. This is where your vacation will succeed !

Country life and childhood dreams

Great place to stay between Zürich and Schaffhausen both very nice citys. The house is large and the garden welcome you to relax. We have three children and there is a lot of toys to play with. Nearby is the rhein were you can take a refreshing bath or make a boat tour. We have a inflatable boat you can use as well and there are as well some bikes to use and explore the region. If the weather is not so great there are some museeums.
