Cottage holiday rentals in Southern Oregon

This was a trip home for us but one of the best equipped houses we have stayed in. Very clean and the hosts are great to work with. We enjoyed walking to the beach everyday and some days twice to see the sunset!

This was the perfect place for us to slow down a little and catch up. We had been driving up the coast for about a week and were ready to relax when we got to Florence. We were located just 6miles south of Florence, an easy drive to restaurants and sights. We enjoyed the Sea Lion Caves, Dune Buggy rides(go on the fast one!), shopping, and great restaurants. The Pono Hukilau and 1258 Restobar were actually two of our Top 5 favorites from the whole trip from San Francisco to Corvallis, OR. The house was very clean, well stocked with towels, water in fridge, coffee to get started with, shower soap, shampoo, and conditioner(great quality!). Plenty of notes and instructions to answer questions that might come up. The neighborhood was quiet and very safe to walk. We only enjoyed the hot tub one night, it was very clean. Only walked out to the dock, didn’t go out on the water. Mainly because of our schedule and it was a little cool for us Floridians. Overall great place to stay & nice area.

Great location and a very comfortable home, just as described. The back deck and hot tub were a bonus. Since the location is close to downtown, the river, and the old mill district, the bikes came in very handy. We'd stay again!

We spent a week working from here with our dog, and had a lovely time! Sabrina is such a thoughtful host, she went out of her way in making sure we had everything needed to be comfortable. She is very responsive and gracious. Black rock beach is a gem of a beach and super close and walkable. We loved walking our dog there. The backyard of the house itself was gorgeous and we enjoyed the hot tub too :) Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway along the Oregon coast!

Perfect place all around.

Truly lovely & well stocked home. Patty was very kind and thoughtful touches throughout. Her yard is beautiful. Yard games, table games, so close to Redwoods. The lighthouse. And Patty is a lovely woman.

Great place for us to bed down for the night on a family road trip. The shower is great with good water pressure and temperature and the bed was comfortable. It’s small but has a very open space and as a family of 3, we could have easily spent multiple days here with how they have it set up. It’s in a very residential area with a lot of homes around, but very quiet and we felt very safe. My 7 year old says 8 out of 5 stars!

The cottage is wonderful, right on the river, incredibly clean and well stocked. There’s a great assortment of water toys too, paddle boards, kayaks, and inflatables. Even better is that Jackie is an amazing host, so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Fantastic location too!

I had a wonderful time at the carriage house. Margaret has put a lot of attention into the details to make this a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. I could happily live there. Our hosts were delightful, accessible, and made us feel quite welcome. It was great to be at a location where we could park our car and walk to restaurants, Lithia Park, and the OSF. The garden was a treat and a delightful place to relax. I hope to be lucky enough to book it on my next visit to Ashland!

I so enjoyed my stay at the cottage. My only regret was that I didn't stay longer (I also think that I forgot to clean up my dog's final "deposit" from the backyard, for which I am profoundly sorry!). The cottage was perfect for a solo traveller. It was close to the beach and the 804 trail. I felt safe, while also being blissfully secluded. Thank you so much for a divine getaway.

Great place to stay with easy access to the freeway. Very clean and comfortable.

This place was absolutely wonderful! We had some mishaps with our car on the way and while we originally planned on checking in at 4pm, we couldn’t arrive until 10pm! Thankfully, Jane was AMAZING and very kind about the situation. Her warmth did not go unnoticed!! Although we got in late, we were able to enjoy the fire pit for a bit and sat out under the stars. It really helped with de-stressing from our chaotic day. We also tried making dinner.. but since we arrived when all the grocery stores were closed, we basically ate for survival since we were missing most of the ingredients for the lasagna we wanted to make haha! The kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed - there was even a griddle plate on the stove!! We will use that next time! We are looking forward to coming back so we can enjoy all the amenities and land to the fullest. :) Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful sanctuary, Jane and Tom!

Definitely a great place to stay if you're going to be out and about a lot. There was no TV which I loved, my kids weren't tempted to stay back. The back yard was cute. The place was very comfortable, the couch bed felt a bit sketch for my tall cousin(a little bumpy). Overall we had a great stay!

Michael and Mindy were welcoming and kind. The house was set up wonderfully to provide guest comfort, and it was a great place to settle into for a six-night stay. It's roomy and has ample support for anything one might need, plus there is helpful labeling throughout, and an excellent House book, to identify where things are located and how systems work. Their property, which they work hard to maintain, makes a vast greenspace around the house, and there's a lovely sitting area under trees, along with really nice porches. We met one of their dogs, such a sweetheart, and one of their sweet cats, and it was great to be near horses. The house has super views of the beautiful hills around Ashland. Staying here was part of what made our week in Ashland special. Thank you, Michael and Mindy!

This cute house had a large yard, close to the freeway, & dollar tree & Abby pizza across the street. The place had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this rental. I've let locals know too so they can suggest it when family or friends come to town. Why stay in a hotel when you can rent and stay in this perfect home!!

Peter and Nicky were amazing. We came out to see Redwood National Park, and staying at this slice of heaven made our stay much more enjoyable. They both made our stay as perfect as possible, the view was awesome, and we enjoyed many activities in the area, including the beach, Redwoods, waterfalls, kayaking, and the list goes on and on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We felt right at home…. With a million dollar view 😉 P.S: Don’t use Apple Maps to get there, it will take you to the wrong location, use google maps.

There are only positives. The house is clean, spacious, beautifully appointed with everything you could need. As others say, the on-demand coffee maker & the imported Swiss beans make for an easy, delicious coffee experience. The beds are comfortable. The showers have plenty of pressure & hot water. You can take a short walk to see chickens, llamas, donkeys, horses & a pond. It is a working farm. We saw hay baling. The backyard has plenty of seating for either sun or shade. Take that cup of coffee out to the Adirondack chairs & get some morning sun. We attended a family wedding in Jacksonville. A very cute town that is maybe a 5 min drive. This is the best of both worlds, close to a town but the quiet of the country. The house fit 4 adults & an 11 year old boy quite comfortably.

This place said everything. Even sunscreen by the front door. It was absolutely spotless. The view is unbelievable. Lola was very responsive. So helpful. We will return.

What a lovely home! The house is delightfully decorated and has everything one could need while traveling and visiting the area! There is a lot to do close by, namely the Redwoods and N CA coast. Pam is a wonderful host and answers any questions within minutes! We highly recommend this AirBnB!

Cozy Gem for sure. Shanna’s BnB is adorable, well stocked, private, and comfortable. I wanted to stay on for days to enjoy the private porch and patio lined with flowers. Every exchange was easy and helpful. Definitely recommend!!
