Quiet 2 bed detached bungalow with sea views

CherrillRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Dave’s bungalow is lovely, tastefully furnished and well equipped. Great view and a peaceful decking area in the garden. Pop through the gate in the back garden and after a short walk along a path you come to La Ronde, a National Trust property. Dave is a great communicator and very helpful. We felt so at home in his bungalow. Parking is easy on the drive.

Seafront Beach House with Panoramic Views

GeorgeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Just back from a fantastic three nights at Paul’s place. The location of the house is fabulous, just 1-2 minutes walk from the beach. It felt very homely and comfortably sleeps 8 Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea and beach was sublime. Drinks up in the bar on the top decking at the back of the house in the evening with stunning views was real bonus. There are plenty of games to keep you occupied and we didn’t turn the TV on, not once. A nice spacious kitchen and a dinning room table that sits 8. We walked over to Burgh Island for a lovely meal at The Pilchard. Had a dip in the sea. Played golf at the very friendly and welcoming Bigbury and Thurlestone golf clubs and rounded it all off with a final meal at The Oyster Shack, only 10 minutes drive away. Will be back with the family. Thank you. George W

Fairwinds,Bigbury on sea ,Three-bed Beach House

AmandaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
we had a very comfortable stay, with everything we needed. The home is peaceful and spacious with beautiful views. The Beach, Burgh island, local shops, cafe, pubs & restaurants are all within walking distance. NB arrive during day light hours as the roads leading to the house are single track and require a lot of patience and focus. We would most deffinatley visit again.

Lovely Bungalow near the Exe Trail in Exmouth

GarethRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Deborah's listing was very accurate. she provided precise instructions for access to the property and directions tothe property. Deborah and her husband a lovely people, welcoming and friendly. the accommodation was perfect for our needs. it is about a half hours walk to a few pubs that sell good food and a little further to the seafront in Exmouth. we had a lovely break. The accomodation is a bungalow adjacent to Deborah's house. it's far enough across the garden to be reclusive if that's your thing but close enough to allow socialising, as we did. there's plenty of parking space too.

Stunning home with hot tub close to zoo and shops

KarenRating, 5 stars33 months ago
You cannot go wrong with this outstanding and beautiful accommodation. Absolutely no complaints about anything. The beds were most comfortable and I was able to get a good quota of sleep without, aches and pains which I cannot say about any other accommodation I have stayed in. Easy to find and easy keylock code access. Communication excellent. All accommodation amenities were in working order and we were made very welcome with personal touches.

Bethany

MartinRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Can’t say enough about Bethany. A wonderful find in a very peaceful location. The property is well kept, clean and has almost everything you’ll need. Let’s get a couple of negatives out of the way first; 1, only use the driveway if you have a 4x4 - you will remove your exhaust if you don’t. 2, the local cats use the back garden as a toilet, careful where you step! 3, The Doggie do’s and don’ts should have been available on the listing. Even with those points I’d give at least 4 stars to Bethany, it’s a lovely place to stay. We felt at home immediately, and able to relax. We cooked some nights and got take away the others. Neither gave any problems. It’s October, not exactly the weather to sit out, but the garden is great, and fully enclosed. Our dog loved it!! We spent most of our time visiting local attractions, if you get chance don’t miss the Devonshire Cream Teas at Berryhead cafe - 10/10!

Spacious bungalow, 3 mins walk to Millpool on Dart

KimRating, 5 stars45 months ago
We had an amazing time - plenty to do in the area (you must go to Cockington Village, especially if you have a dog!) and lots of places to eat... it's advisable to book for the Church Inn and remember to book Emma's! When we stayed, it was delivery only and the food was incredible! It is very peaceful but is only a short distance from so many places to visit. Highly recommended - Kate responds really quickly to any messages and is very helpful.

Bungalow close to marina & beaches, sleeps 6

TracyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a lovely stay we had at this huge bungalow. Situated at the top of a hill within good distance of the harbour, shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and beach. There was a lovely food parcel left for us which we very much enjoyed & treats for our dog. It has a great sized garden with plenty of outside furniture to sit out in on the sunny mornings/warm evenings. The driveway was big enough for 2 cars plus there is a huge garage. 2 of the bedrooms have direct access to the garden which was very handy. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern top of the range appliances. There was more than sufficient utensils, crockery, pots & pans. All cleaning supplies were available. Spacious bedrooms, lounge & dining room with seating for more than 6 people. Beds were comfy. Immediate responses from owner when messaged. Very helpful. We’ve stayed at a few Airbnbs before and this has far been the best. The attention to detail for what’s needed for a stay away from home was 10/10. Thank you.

beautiful location - close bye views of river dart, lovely walks from doorstep. amazing place to explore the area. 20 mins from bus stop with busses every 10 mins to Brixham and Paignton, every 30 mins to kingswear - good for non car people. The place is in a Holliday park and is more like a static caravan than a bungalow. Very thin walls mean sounds come in and heat goes out quickly. but heaters are provided. in winter windows need to be opened to avoid condensation build up - especially if drying wet clothes from soggy walks. The provisions are very minimal - no towels provided - this includes hand towels. Very basic kitchen ect. but enough for basic stay. we loved our trip here but the inclussion of towels and kitchen facilities would be good
