Holiday rentals with an EV charger in York

What a great spot! This is a very unique place, the first smart home we’ve stayed in & we got to grips with it very quickly, and not to mention so cosy! We honestly felt right at home soon as we arrived, and the location had an amazing view, and had lots of extra toiletries (if you forget anything like we did). Both Sinead & Gareth were very responsive if we needed anything, certainly recommend staying here. Extra points for the huge smart TV perfect for our movie night! Thank you for a lovely stay 😊

Apartment was gorgeous. 3 big bedrooms with tvs. Huge living area with gorgeous kitchen that had everything. 2 modern bathrooms. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Parking at back of property big enough for 2 cars. Also an electric charge point if needed. Little court yard area to sit out in when weather nice. Nice park over the road and apartment next to a COOP grocery store. Chinese take away on same road. 15 min walk into York which is easy to walk. Loads of car parks if you prefer to drive. York is well worth a visit. Loads to do and see. Tons of restaurants including a few good traditional Indian/nepalese which didn’t disappoint. We came with our kids age 21 and 15 and two of their friends. Would definitely stay again maybe before Xmas as York is one of the best Xmas markets we’ve been to in the past. Host was responsive and everything about the apartment was perfect. The key lock box made it easy to check in. Would highly recommend we had a great time thank you 🤩

What a beautiful place. Simon the host was always in touch before our stay to answer any questions we had and also throughout our stay making sure everything was ok. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is amazing and the setting absolutely beautiful. The accommodation provides everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. The property is private and quiet yet transport links are on the doorstep. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone. It was just perfect for us.

Lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts, Suzanne and Ian who were there to meet me and explained how everything worked. Welcome pack a nice bonus and very much appreciated after a long drive. Flat was beautiful, light and airy but at the same time, homely and welcoming. Very peaceful location and felt very safe there, something very important to me as a female guest staying on my own. Great communication and the few queries I had during my stay were answered very quickly. Local shop within walking distance for anything you might need and a coffee shop which looked very inviting and a must try venue for next time. All-in-all, a wonderfully relaxing stay.

The place was very well located, and close to great places to visit in York. The place was very clean and bright. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely two night stay in Clare's Penthouse apartment. The view was nice across the rooftops making everything light and airy. A perfect place to return to after a busy day exploring York. We came by train and the shortcut to the apartment was excellent. Thank you Clare for keeping in touch, being so flexible and for the lovely treats you left for us.

Great very central apartment a few minutes walk from the city centre. On site parking was a real bonus. Everything you could possibly need inside the apartment if you want to eat in and the lovely welcome basket with really appreciated.

Lovely little place to stay. I'm glad Emma helped with the directions as Google maps found it difficult, but I got there eventually. There are quite a few steep steps down from the parking area to consider but I'm sure Emma will take that into consideration for others who might struggle there. Communication was top notch and extra info.given for the number of a local taxi service. Lovely room with separate ensuite bathroom. Very peaceful setting. Lovely to hear only the birds in the morning. Only a half mile walk into town with all its amenities.

Alice’s house is absolutely beautiful, exactly like the pictures and finished to a very high standard. Alice was an amazing host, super responsive and accommodating. We felt at home straightaway and will look forward to returning very soon.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay at The Barn. The property was immaculate, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The garden as well as the house was spacious and both felt very private and tastefully appointed and allowed us a relaxing and comfortable stay. The location was perfect for exploring this part of North Yorkshire where there is so much to see and do.

We had a fantastic stay, gorgeous bedrooms and comfy beds. Enough bathrooms/ toilets for 8 of us. Lots of seating areas and the pool table room was brilliant. Short 10 min walk to lively pubs and places to eat. Spaces to park cars and the house had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and we will be going back

A wonderful house in a lovely location! As a large group comprising a 19 month old, an almost 3 year old, a 5 year old, two 30-something couples and a couple celebrating their 70th birthdays this year, nobody wanted for anything. The house is furnished to a very high specification, everything is spotlessly clean, and there is plenty of space for everyone to socialise together. The kitchen is very well equipped and the view from the back garden (and the hot tub) is beautiful. The games room is also a nice touch! We had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to recommend this house.

Gilbertson cottage was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The house was immaculate and just completely breath taking. We came on a Hen do & just could not get over how unreal every single aspect of the house was. It made our whole weekend. It was everything and more that we could have asked for & I couldn’t be more grateful. We’ve already spoke about a few of us coming back with our partners and children! What a beautiful place. Fantastic house with lots of space for a grown up family of 4. It was a little tricky to find but the instructions were excellent which helped. We loved the location. I would recommend this place to stay for those wanting explore York on foot. The description mentioned two parking spaces (we only had one big car) but we were asked to only park inside the garage on the arrival day. There was a table in the other advertised parking bay. Our car did fit in but with probably 2 inches clearance per side at the entrance of the garage. However, once in it was lovely to know the car was secure for the duration of our stay. The crockery and cutlery was not clean, we didn’t report it but instead put the whole lot in the dishwasher ( plenty of tablets provided) and headed out to the nearby pub. I think this was more from the previous visitor but maybe the cleaning team should have checked. Also there was some underwear left in one bedroom when we arrived.

Such a great place to stay. Well worth the money.

Sharon was a great host and was in touch with us both before and during our trip. There was off road parking available and the use of an electric car charger was a real bonus. The property was very clean, tidy and set in a lovely well kept garden. We did two really nice walks following a Nth York’s Moor Railway trail, and a track to Thornton Le Dale and back. The property is within a 5 minute walk of the centre of Pickering where there are lots of nice pubs and restaurants.

We had a fabulous stay. Unbeatable location, great parking, very secure and private. The apartment had everything we could need and more. A lovely haven to return to after busy days out. Thank you for hosting us.

I cannot recommend this home enough. It was perfection. Absolutely stunning home, very high end & impeccable cleanliness. Absolutely best place I have ever stayed. Instantly felt at home & pampered at the same time. The location could not be better. In the heart of everything just a stones throw from the York Minster. We spent a whole week here and left wanting more time. The history, the charm, the beauty, the shops, the restaurants, and nightlife. Something for everyone to enjoy. The home also has a lovely semi-private garden courtyard if you need a respite from all the bustle of York. You absolutely don’t need & don’t really want a car here unless you will be exploring the broader Yorkshire, which I also highly recommend. The Yorkshire Dales are not to be missed. I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for perfection.

May's place was beautiful, and incredibly spacious, in a fantastic location. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed for cooking, and the attached parking was perfect.

Beautiful accommodation just right for two with everything we needed. Very new and modern bathroom - lovely big, fluffy towels - and a super king-size bed. Well-equipped kitchen, dining table and cosy lounge area made for perfect accommodation. Rachel’s instructions were very clear and she always responded immediately to queries, both online and by phone. The EV charger was a real bonus. Can heartily recommend the Milking Parlour and hope we might have the opportunity to stay there again.

Modern , comfy, clean and well furnished apartment in a gated block. The apartment is on the doorstep of many York attractions and we easily walked to York Minster, The Shambles, Railway Museum and other tourist hotspots. There are a couple of restaurants very close and a Sainsburys local which was useful. Marian communicated clearly replying promptly and was able to offer us a slightly earlier check in to suit our train arrival time which was appreciate as were the arrival snacks. Would recommend to friends.
