Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in Yorkshire

The cottage was absolutely lovely, cosy and welcoming, everything you needed, home from home. I wanted to get away from it all and this property certainly provided me with a great location to explore the coast, lovely walks with my dog and was so quiet, it was heaven. If you want to hear real stillness and nature at its best, this is the place for you. The Bed was really comfy with good showering facilities, couldn’t fault it. Simon and Jo very helpful and friendly, introduced themselves to me. I will be back soon. I was just wondering if What three words would help re location as I did struggle with locating the property. Great stay, perfect location 👌.

Me and my wife rented the flat to visit nearby relatives and to go downtown Manchester. For this the location was absolutely perfect. Easy access by car without the downtown traffic jam, the bus stop of line 135 leading to downtown Manchester right outside the door, or the tram station just 200 yards away. The flat is very modern, no fuzz and very clean. Even though the main road is close the noise level was negligible (maybe except for some emergency vehicles) All questions we had were immediately answered by A To Bee. If available, we will definitely book again next time we come to the area.

Had a lovely stay in Barnard Castle. The apartment was amazing, fab quirky decor, great facilities such as mini dishwasher and a washing machine. Dishwasher tablets and cleaning supplies provided which was as great as you don’t always get this. Easy to park on the roads outside with no issues but was also a car park a few minutes walk away if needed. Barnard Castle itself is a quiet little town, has the castle ruins to visit, Bowes museum, Egglestone Abbey and Raby castle close by. Not much to offer in terms of restaurants/bars but we did highly rate Babul’s for curry and they also do insanely good cocktails! The meanacolada 👌🏻 We also liked a little bar called Crobar. A cute little staycation for a couple of nights away with our puppy. Only thing to note was the pigeons! There were crazy amounts of them on the roof/windowsills and surrounding roofs and they stopped us sleeping! Obviously nothing the owners can control but just worth noting. Maybe bring earplugs.

had a beautiful say at ESK Cottage amazing views looking over whitby from the lovely hot and dicking area. the Cottage was lovely set out and cosy and in a brilliant location for walks into the heart of whitby. highly recommend looking forward to coming back

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

Lovely two bedroom apartment. Warm & comfortable. The hosts were extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the rural location and setting. Plenty of parking and electric charging point also very useful. Great communication prior to our stay. Highly recommended for a stay in the North Lakes area.

Great location for exploring the Yorkshire dales as well as giving walkable access to the great town of Skipton - great cafes and restaurants, interesting shops and the castle. The cottage has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. We would happily stay again. Thank you Nigel.

Ade's place was wonderful for us, he was very responsive and super helpful throughout our stay. The location was very good for us, and is a 3 minute walk to the Metrolink train if you want to get to the city center or stadium. The kitchen is well equipped with a washer/dryer and all the essentials you need, plus a great BBQ and backyard. The place could use a paint job and a bit of TLC, but for a short stay it's just fine.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and fantastically located cottage. Mitch was freindly and responsive, even given us prior warning of a potential power cut. The house was well equipped, warm and clean. I would recommend staying here.

Cannot recommend this place enough, amazing house, very cheap for what you get, pictures do not do it justice at all as way way better than we thought, pool table and table tennis was great, sauna, loads of land and outside games, beautiful fields, short drive into town, loved it and will be back

Great accomdation only 25 minutes to York and in peaceful relaxing environment

Messaged the night before explaining the accommodating was already ready so to check in whenever. Gave us great local recommendations for food. Very spacious but homely. Was perfect accommodation for getting ready for a wedding as each room had its own bathroom. Host very helpfully when parents in law car wouldn’t start the next day.

Wonderful house - we’ll definitely be staying again. The walk down by the river is 5 mins from the house and lovely, and the hike up the hill to the coast to coast path is also great.

Had a lovely long weekend here. The house was spotless modern, spacious, with comfortable sofas and beds. The shower was good and towels were provided. There was space to park our 2 cars easily and it was walkable into Chapel St Leonards (10 mins to mini supermarket, 15 mins to restaurants, pubs, take outs and beach).

The accommodation was well-equipped with the essential amenities expected from a boutique hotel. The apartment was easy to find, and the instructions were quite clear. The location has both advantages and disadvantages. It's situated conveniently between Chinatown and the Gay Village, making it highly accessible to bars and restaurants; however, there are many activities happening on the street into the early morning hours. Therefore, if you're a light sleeper, this may be something to consider.

Amazing accommodation, lots of space and perfect for city break. Great location and really enjoyed our stay. Dealing with host Kevin was great, all detail sent on time and plenty of information sent over. would definitely stay here again.

My friends and I had a fabulous stay in Betton. The apartment was delightful and the location was quite idyllic. The hot tub had views over the fields and there were so many tiny details that made the stay very special, from the hand-made chocolate to the robes in the room. It is worth noting that this includes breakfast, and there was something for everyone! Quite a spectacular spread, thank you!

What a truly wonderful stay we've had! The apartment was everything we needed and so much more—beautifully prepared, thoughtfully equipped, and incredibly comfortable. Host attention to detail is amazing. He genuinely thought of everything a guest might need for a short stay, and it made all the difference. The welcome touches—local bread, butter, jam, and milk for coffee—were absolutely heartwarming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It’s rare to come across such genuine hospitality. We spent our days enjoying fantastic walks surrounded by breathtaking views, and every evening felt like coming home to a peaceful retreat. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
