Private suite holiday rentals in Yorkshire

We booked at short notice within a couple of days & Sara & Matthew couldn't have been more responsive & accommodating to our needs, especially travelling with a 7mth old. The space was set in their beautiful house with picturesque surrounding gardens & with a spectacular view over the sands. We could easily come and go as we pleased with the private access to the accommodation. Sara & Matthew were very hospitable & friendly. It was easy to find with the information provided - a great gem of a location to explore the lakes & surrounding area - great value for money & would stay again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at The Samson Suite last week. It was lovely and clean and beautifully furnished. All the linen was best quality and the bed was so comfortable. It was great to be able to sit outside on the sunny patio as it was so peaceful and private. The suite was easy to find and the parking was great. Its just a short flat walk into Beverley with lots of places to eat, shop and visit. Beverley Minster is also close by. Top class place to stay and we will definitely return. Would highly recommend to anyone! Pauline & Graham are lovely and helpful and the apartment had everything we needed. Their woodlands are a real treat, we were lucky enough to be there with sunny weather and we were free to have a picnic whenever we wanted to, an offer we gratefully accepted - we spent a lovely sunny afternoon reading and drinking tea there. Pauline & Graham are very passionate about the woodlands, their bees and the wildlife and told us about the owls, hedgehogs, foxes that occasionally visit their property. Their gentle dog Barney is a legend and loves to be pet.

We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful flat, full of beautiful original features. It's so spacious and our kids loved staying in the castle! We had everything we needed and Caroline was great at keeping in touch. Many thanks Caroline!

Had a wonderful stay. Lindsey was extremely kind and attentive, offering us bread and milk for our stay. There was a large range of breakfast items provided. Overall I cannot recommend enough!

Till Barn was a peaceful and cozy, home away from home. Catrin is a warm and friendly host who goes out of her way to make you feel at home and swift in answering any questions you may have. The furnishings are classic and the bed extremely comfortable, the kitchen is very well stocked. We were visiting my Aunt who lives locally and the location was perfect, we enjoyed walks around the area and the private garden is perfect for sitting outside during the spring/summer weather and enjoying a quiet drink. We hope to return and would fully recommend it to others, a 5 star experience all round, this is how Airbnbs should be :-)

Lovely cottage, feels spacious as it is light and airy with high ceilings. Michael was very helpful when we reached out for recommendations about local services and amenities. Very helpful and responsive host, would absolutely recommend the cottage for a peaceful trip away from crowds and the hustle and bustle of York but also being within easy reach.

Absolutely fantastic stay in a beautiful part of Altrincham. A home away from home in many ways, couldn’t recommend enough for someone looking for a simple, comfy stay in the North-West.

Small but perfectly formed! Everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed, an excellent shower, a great little kitchen, and a beautiful patio area to sit in and enjoy the views.

Christine and pete are lovely people and they were so friendly that we felt so comfortable and they have thought of everything's for their guesst i mean everything from A to Z everything from cooking to cleaning you wouldnt need anything at all they have thought of everything's and cottage we stayed in was so clean and so tidy and comfortable its so worth of every penny that i have paid and the hut tub was so clean they even thought about hot tub towels bathrooms towels and the lighting around the hot tub was so cute and the set up of the cottage was amazing and i cannot wait to go back soon as possible i would definitely recommend to everyone and plese don't forgot take some dog treats for fredy please he is a lovely dog as i made frindship with him

The place was lovely and cosy for the evening. The best part was actually the garden with the egg chair, the zen garden and the water feature. It was so relaxing I could have sat there all night. Would definitely stay again.

The location was ideal - away from the busy road nearby, making it private and quiet, but close enough that you could walk into town or to nearby restaurants. The space itself was clean, tidy, and had all the utensils and cutlery we needed for our stay. It felt very homely. Joanne was excellent at responding to messages, doing so in a very short time span and with a helpful, friendly attitude. Overall, our week was just what we needed - very relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you!

Communication with Fern was excellent. Instructions for finding the property and parking was top notch. We had a very comfortable stay and would certainly return in the future.

Sarah was very friendly and proactive with comms around my stay in her place. The bedroom area was spacious with lots of storage and acomfy sofa. The bathroom had a nice shower and clean towels. The little kitchen area was enough for my stay for a quick ready meal and she had thoughtfully put a few things in the fridge for drinks and breakfast (although I had already brought my own). There was even an offer of a lift to town or a glass of wine :-) Although very close to Chester centre (10 min taxi) and the highways, there was no audible road noise from within the apartment so I slept soundly. Thanks Sarah!

My stay from start to finish was extremely stress free which as a lady staying on her own was very reassuring. Dawn kept in touch and all her instructions were very clear. The accommodation was immaculate from the beautiful garden and little patio outside to entertaining the accommodation. The first thing that hit me was a beautiful smell, it was pristine and the bed had crisp white bed linen which I love. Dawn had left a lovely little welcome note and snack on the table and a cheeky little G&T in the fridge for me as she knew I was on my own 😊. It had everything I needed to make my stay an enjoyable one and I had the best nights sleep. Thank you Dawn for making my stay so special snd I will not hesitate in staying with again X

We had a fantastic stay at Hunger Hill farm studio . Really peaceful location in beautiful countryside but also central enough when visiting the local area. The accommodation had everything we needed for our short break and was a home from home for us. Jane and Dominic were really friendly and helpful and were always on hand if needed. Would not hesitate to book again when we are in the area.

Pat and Den are absolutely lovely hosts. They were very welcoming and helpful with directions. The property was perfect for our stay, with everything we needed. I would 100% reccomend to anyone looking for a compact place to stay.

We stayed at this charming cottage during Easter and had a wonderful experience. The host was exceptionally friendly, responsive, and caring, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The cottage itself is lovely—spotlessly clean, cosy, and beautifully maintained. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need for your stay. The surroundings are absolutely fantastic. We loved the peaceful atmosphere, with sheep and cows grazing nearby and a lovely cat who would come by to say hello. It truly felt like a perfect countryside retreat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in the Peak District.

An Exceptional Stay – Perfect for Bikers and a Peaceful Getaway We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Chris & Nikki’s Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Both hosts went above and beyond – genuine, friendly people who couldn’t do enough for us. As fellow bikers, they truly understood our needs and even made space in their garage so our bikes could be stored safely and securely. That kind of thoughtfulness really made all the difference. The home itself is in an idyllic spot – peaceful, scenic, and perfectly located for exploring the stunning Yorkshire Wolds. It was the ideal base for our countryside rides. One thing we particularly appreciated was the “no kids, no pets” policy. It’s rare these days to find a place that caters to adults seeking a bit of peace without the added chaos – it gave the whole stay a much more relaxing vibe. A special shout-out to Chris for lending a helping hand when I ran into an issue with my bike – he stepped in

Wonderful property and hosts. Extremely clean and everything you could possibly want was there. They even left us essential supplies for our arrival. The bed was fabulous too. Annexe just off their home, felt completely separate. Would definitely recommend 100%

Absolutely perfect, look exactly like the photos and was just what me and my wife needed. Cannot speak highly enoygh of the host as well who made sure we settled in and could contact her if we had any issues. Would definitely recommend

We stayed at Angela’s place as a group of four and absolutely loved every moment. The accommodation was spotless, well-organised and exactly as described. Although Angela lives in the adjoining house, we genuinely wouldn’t have known - we were left to enjoy our stay in peace and had plenty of privacy. There was a small issue with the shower temperature, but Angela came round straightaway to sort it - much appreciated! We’d definitely return. The beautiful views, friendly animals on site and the hot tub were the icing on the cake of an already wonderful stay.

The most lovely stay at Town End Barn. I was only there for a short stay but it felt very homely and cosy, with so many lovely little touches. Everything has been thought about and everything you might need available. After a 26 mile hike it was a perfect place to come back to - and have a hot bath! So well located for exploring Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales. Thank you Jo!
