The Old Masham Library - Grade 2 listed

The Grade 2 listed Old Library, Masham sits on the corner of the principle approach in to the Market Square from Swinton. Built in 1856 it originally served as the Mechanic Institute of then Mashamshire. It was designed by the respected William Perkin of Perkin and Backhouse of Leeds in Victorian Italianate style. In 2017-18 its internal was redesigned and fully refurbished by Langton Holdings Ltd. On the side of the building is 7kw EV charging by podpoint so be sure to download the app!

Situated on the North West edge of Sheffield, we are in the Peak District, with superb walks, reservoirs, pubs, a golf course and more just a few minutes away. We are also close to halls of residence for Sheffield universities, with a bus stop at the bottom of the drive for jaunts into town. The accommodation is a self contained apartment above our detatched garage, with its own access and everything you need for a getaway in the peaks.

A cosy, delightful first floor apartment situated next to the owner's home on a working farm and surrounded by countryside, just a five minute walk from the heart of the pretty village of Bradwell in the Peak District National Park. This Bradwell cottage provides comfortable accommodation and is a lovely retreat for a couple who wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
