Holiday rentals with a kayak in Yorkshire

We received a very warm welcome from Jo and Ian. It was very clean accommodation and a comfortable bed. We were there for one night and it was perfect for us. The breakfast was excellent with home baked bread, jams, juice, fruit, really amazing! We would come back anytime.

a magical stay, that was just what we needed. we had lots of fun wild swimming, using the kayaks, BBQ and lots of lovely walks near by. Great for families or a romantic getaway. We feel we have found a very special place, and hope to come back soon to create more happy memories

A very convenient, comfortable house to stay while visiting family nearby and going to Durham and Whitby. Alex was helpful re answering questions prior to arrival and in returning something I left behind.

We loved our stay at Easter How, it was perfect for our family get together. The gardens are gorgeous and our daughter's dog enjoyed exploring all the different paths. My dad enjoyed feeding the birds so thank you for providing the food for that too! It really was a home from home, so comfortable with great facilities and in such a tranquil setting. We enjoyed walking to High Dam Tarn a couple of times too, the second time we took the easier route through the field as my parents found the steep climb tough going the first time. Justin (co-host) kept us updated and we had the added bonus of meeting him when he dropped off some coffee beans! Highly recommend the cottages. You will have all you require for a comfortable stay. Great for pets, super walking space and the bonus of being able to purchase fresh eggs. The air display from RAF Leeming is fantastic. Super choice of games to use and great pub with amazing food just down the road which is also pet friendly too. Lovely places to visit nearby.

We really enjoyed our short two night stay in Daleview cottage. It was very comfortable and a lot more spacious than expected. Very homely feeling. Having the meadow on the doorstep was great for the dog who also very much enjoyed her stay and trip to Yorkshire! Two local pubs were very close, dog-friendly, and the food was excellent.

A delightful setting, lovely accommodation and very friendly and helpful hosts. Perfect for us visiting family in the local area but also a great location for exploring North Yorkshire.

A really beautiful property in a wonderful location. We had a perfect, peaceful 3 night get away. From the moment we booked the information was clear and Sam always had prompt and friendly response. The cottage was spotless and attractively decorated , equipped with everything we needed. Clearly a lot of thought had gone into it and we felt immediately at home and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Could not find anything to improve can highly recommend a visit

We had a lovely stay at Millers Cottage, which was our base for a wedding over the long weekend. There was everything we needed for the children - cot, high chair, stair gate - which made travelling much easier for us, and the outside space and play equipment was great. The cottage itself was comfortable and spacious, perfect for our family of 6. The cottages are in a beautiful location, with incredible views and yet so accessible from the A1. We would definitely book again!

Very nice cottage in a quiet location but close to amenities. Well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, good Wi-Fi and Netflix available. Had a lovely week and would revisit in the future.

Had a lovely stay. Property was very clean and quiet. Location is great, just on the edge of the lakes. There are lots of different types of walks or hikes to choose from. Would definitely like to go back to Morland.

A girls night away in the cabins and we wanted to stay forever longer! When we arrived we were so shocked by how stunning it was, so quiet with only the sound of the river and the most stylish cabins and good sized hot tub. It had everything we could've needed and a very high tech air fryer. Anthony was very responsive and friendly and came out in the evening to fix a lightbulb for us. The hot tub was beautifully clean and a lovely temperature. I have sent links to all my friends and family because you must see this place! Thank you so much, and we will be back! Xx

We stayed at Riverside Cabins as a surprise for my husband's birthday. From the time of booking, with help to have balloons in the cabin prior to our arrival, to organising the hot tub to warm up quicker as we were only staying for 1 night, everyone was so friendly, accommodating & extremely helpful! I couldn't recommend this place enough! The location is no more than perfect! It was a freezing cold night (-2 i think) which gave us the beautifully clear skies on which to view the stars from the hot tub. I couldn't think of a better place to have been on such a perfect night! Luckily we live local so will definitely be staying again and I have already recommended Riverside Cabins to my family and friends. The cabin was clean, warm and cosy, well equiped & beautifully decorated with a very comfy bed. Loved it! I would say more but I'm running out of the allocated number of characters! Quick you need to book before you miss out on experiencing such a perfect location! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We will definitely be returning. It was the best lodge we've stayed in, in particular the garden space that was private and spacious. It was totally secure which was perfect for our dog. The Lodge was really spacious and had everything you need for a trip away. The kitchen had everything you need including a full size fridge freezer. The only negative will be the pillows, i must of got about 2 hours sleep during the night because of them. I really think investing in some proper quality pillows will go a long way, especially when they would easily last half a year minimum before needing to be replaced. But this is honestly the only negative thing about the place.

Great location - a short walk from the lake which was brilliant as we had a boat on the jetty. Good facilities with hot tub and decking area - main bedroom is lovely and spacious. Great layout for the caravan and decking area. Great parking facilities and in a lovely quite spot so that kids can ride their bikes around the area.

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge, it was spotlessly clean, and very well equipped, it had everything you needed, really comfy, home from home! Jeff and Sue were great hosts, they left a hamper with goodies, and a bottle of milk in fridge,which was very much appreciated - we have stayed at quite a few lodges on this site, this has been the best by far!! Thanks Jeff and Sue, we will be back

What a relaxing, beautifully appointed and tastefully accessorised lodge. We had everything that we possibly could need and the lodge was clean throughout. Additional garden was a bonus had the weather been better. We will definitely consider booking again in the future. Thanks Alma.

What an amazing place to spend a lovely few days to celebrate a special birthday! Charlotte is a fabulous host and was more than happy to answer any questions we had.  We were provided with clear directions to guide us right to the lodge, and there was lots of very helpful information about the lodge, the surrounding area and attractions. On our arrival the lodge was immaculately presented and well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The lodge was very spacious and comfortably accommodated 7 adults and our Border Collie. It felt welcoming and homely, and Charlotte had put a lot of care and attention into preparing the lodge ready for our stay. My family and I were blown away by the  stunning views of the lake, and the hot tub was a bonus. We even had a visit from a family of swans who were keen to show off their beautiful baby cygnet. Thank you for letting us have the pleasure in staying at your fabulous Lodge. We will certainly be back, hopefully soon!
