Hiking&outdoor activities at Parque Rural de Teno

Cute cottage at the quiet El Palmar's rural valley, just placed at the beginning of many paths to hike and enjoy nature. Near black sand beaches and historic villages at "Isla Baja", the secret of Tenerife. Two companies placed near the cottage offer you awesome outdoor activities (elcardon and tenoactivo). Many restaurants close to the house where you can taste local gastronomy. A grocery allows you to buy all you need, and local farmers offer you a nice organic veggies box (each Wed & Sat)

In our search we came across San Miguel, a small town with a lot of charm, away from the hustle and bustle, but with all the amenities at your fingertips. Now with perspective we are sure we have found the perfect balance.

El Verode Cottage

Casa El Verode is located in the upper area of Los Realejos, north of Tenerife. It is a small village, but it has services such as a supermarket, pharmacy, bars, medical center... It is an ideal village for hiking, it consists of several routes and especially a spectacular viewpoint and trail where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Orotava Valley. The house has everything you need. It has a cozy atmosphere as it has a wood-burning fireplace and a large terrace.

I am an ancient finca rústica in a new guise and live at 550 meters above sea level in Icod de los Vinos in the green north of the island. Behind me I see the majestic Teide volcano, in front of me lies the wide Atlantic. You have to experience living here. The wide view of the sea and Icod immediately creates a sublime feeling and inner peace. The north is weather-friendly and exciting and wonderful to watch from here.
