Luxury Private Mews House in Edinburgh’s New Town

OliverRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Melissa’s flat has been put together with so much thought, it is stylish, cosy, and comfortable. It is perfectly located to be walkable for all the main sites in Edinburgh and has lots of nice restaurants, coffee shops, and bars nearby (and Melissa provided a guidebook to help find the best spots). Melissa was incredibly accommodating and even arranged an infant cot for us. Would absolutely stay again!

Artists Mews House near City Centre

AnneRating, 5 stars4 days ago
What a lovely spot! The space is very well designed and spotlessly clean. The washing machine was much appreciated…and the skylight and books in the bathroom! The mews street is very serene and peaceful with no noise other than the birds. Very comfy bed. It is a real bonus having the key to the lovely river gardens and the shortcut to Ann Street which makes the walk to the main drag of Stockbridge more convenient. Stockbridge is an idyllic neighborhood close to everything and from the house it’s just a short walk to Dean Village which is a must-see. I consider myself very lucky to have snuck in three nights here on short notice as this house is usually booked solid!

Historic Dean Village House

This was the most exquisite experience! It was like staying in a magical fairyland. The location is beyond perfect. You can access all the major sites by foot while staying in the heart of Dean Village. The history and the feel of being in this home gave us the ultimate happiness. We cannot recommend staying here enough! Book it!

The Historic Dalkeith Water Tower

AlaaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This was my friend and I first time in Scotland and we had a wonderful stay here. The location is peaceful, about 30 minutes by car or an hour by bus to central Edinburgh. There’s a big supermarket and a few good restaurants nearby, which made things very convenient. The place was spotless and very well maintained. Susan and Gerry were lovely hosts, they welcomed us with a stocked fridge, a homemade loaf of bread, and muffins which was so kind of them! The home has so much character and history, and they kindly shared its story with us. Highly recommended!

Stunning, quiet cottage + garage in city centre

Laura and ChrisRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This was one of our favorite AirBnb experiences! The location was perfect (near the tram and bus stops), and since we rented a car for day trips, the garage was an added bonus, not available in many AirBnb’s. Peter’s place was spotless and very comfortable for myself, my husband, and adult daughter. Great shower, very quiet neighborhood. We stayed during a heat wave and were not at all disturbed at night with the windows open. Peter has a large assortment of books about the history of Edinburgh and sightseeing opportunities, and we enjoyed looking through them. We would definitely stay here again!

Relax in Cosy Contemporary New Town Flat.

AnneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Gorgeous, spacious and comfortable flat. We stayed with our two-year-old, and had no trouble with him sleeping in the little walk-in space. The kitchen was especially nice for dining; also was a great shower and excellent bed/pillows! Coffee at Little Fitzroy was splendid and we walked to almost everywhere but had peace & quiet at night.

Under the Castle, Grassmarket

NatashaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was the perfect location for visiting Edinburgh!!!!! We were able to explore and drop back to the apartment to grab whatever we needed when we wanted. No need to lug things with you for the day. In 5min we were back “home” to drop things off, pick things up and off to explore again. For being just over a 5min walk from all the major sights, it was very quiet and comfortable. I’d highly recommend Lynn’s place and wouldn’t stay anywhere else when we come back.

We had an amazing stay at Eleanor’s place! The house was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and equipped with everything we could possibly need — the facilities were top-notch. Beautiful Old Town Flat Just Off The Royal Mile

MarkRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great host, clean, safe, close to everything, and just a 5-minute walk to the train station. This place checks all the boxes! However, don't underestimate the stairs. I work out every day and always take the stairs at the office, but these stairs are a killer. They are incredibly steep and spiral, unlike a hotel or office building. I wouldn't recommend if you're traveling with lots of luggage. If you travel light and are in great shape, it's fantastic!

I highly recommend Anke-Beate's flat. We would definitely return. The location is ideal to get around Edinburgh, it is spacious and even better than the photos. Everything was clean, and the added touches were very much appreciated. The flat is fully kitted out with everything needed. Communication was great. Thank you for a great stay!

Lovely old town apartment

AmyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I felt like a celebrity in this beautiful and quiet flat, right off the main action of Edinburghs center. The bed was comfy and had sparkling white sheets. The bathtub was just perfect for a soak after all the walking we did. The kitchen set up was perfectly stocked with tea, coffee and breakfast essentials, plus or host gave us great info on local shops for any other needs. We got the inside scoop on some of the best local restaurants and bars. Oh! And a jar of homemade Scottish Shortbread greeted us on our arrival! Absolutely worth every penny, and every step it takes to get to the flat. I didn't want to leave this chic little jewel in Edinburgh.

Romantic Georgian Apartment in Edinburgh New Town

AubrieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Absolutely charming apartment in the heart of Edinburgh! The space was beautifully decorated with artwork and pieces from local artists, giving it a warm and authentic feel. We especially loved the stunning view of the surrounding Georgian architecture—it really added to the charm. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the Royal Mile and a nearby shopping mall. Everything was immaculately clean, and the full kitchen made it easy to cook during our stay. Mark was incredibly responsive and helpful, making sure we checked in smoothly and answered any questions we had right away. A helpful note for future guests: If you're traveling with a car, you'll need to pay for street parking on weekdays—weekends are free. However, there is a Q-Park ramp conveniently located within a 7-minute walk where you can park during the day. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back. Thanks again, Mark, for a wonderful experience!

Vibrant Flat with Fantastic Views by the Royal Mile

MorganRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great time! Location is unbeatable and the flat is very spacious for downtown Edinburgh! I was a little nervous about the noise level being on the royal mile but there were no issues, it was relatively quiet. Having the appliances were great, however we had a little trouble with the washer.

Perfectly located, modern city centre apartment

KatRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Honestly the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in! The apartment is beautiful and comfortable and the location is fantastic. I really appreciated the attention to detail; we had everything we could want or need, and the space felt generous and welcoming. I loved having this little home to wake up in and return to at the end of every day. We walked everywhere, but there’s a bus stop just outside if you want to go a bit further abroad. The bed is great (always important!) and I slept really well. The living room is a lovely spot to unwind. After traveling for more than a week I absolutely loved being able to take a hot bath. And don’t miss the ramen spot just downstairs! The hosts recommended it specifically and it was so good I had it two nights in a row. You can skip the line and bring your takeout right upstairs! I find myself missing this place. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
