Holiday rentals with a home theatre in Honshu

We enjoyed the convenience of this location very much - it was close to the train station, close to restaurants and convenience stores, and was a quieter area in close walking distance to the busier area of Asakusa. The space of the apartment felt tight to walk around in for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children age 7 and 10), but the description and reviews did mention the narrowness of the apartment. We put out the extra bed on the floor for bedtime and folded it back up during the day to allow space for the table and put some of our luggages underneath the bed, and it worked out. We were thankful for the many amenities provided such as washer, the kitchenette, and the instructions on how to use the items, and felt the space was well used. Keyless entry was also smooth and easy.

The apartment had everything we needed and more! The neighborhood is filled with second hand shops and convenience stores which was perfect for us:) Being located so close to a train station made moving around very easy as well! Everything was great!

This was my second time staying at StayFab’s apartment in Shimokita and just like the first time we loved it. We appreciate the apartments proximity to the train station, shopping and restaurants. The apartment is an ideal size for a family traveling with kids. David is a great host and a great communicator.

Yuriko’s place is very clean and well equipped. The actual place is much nicer than the photos. Our party of 3 had a great time here. The location is super convenient . It is with 10 min walk to the subway station. There are tons of shops, restaurants, bakeries within 10-15 min walk. We highly recommend this place.

Great stay in Kanazawa, very close to Omicho market, very clean, and had everything we needed for a short stay. Onsite laundry was nice to have. No issues at all, great communication, and great location -- highly recommend.

宇治駅から徒歩圏内で、川沿いの静かで落ち着いた場所にあり、到着した瞬間からとても癒されました😌 インテリアもセンスがよく、友人とのんびり過ごすには本当に理想的な空間でした！ チェックイン前に偶然オーナーさんとお会いし、近くで見かけた虫（“トビケラ”というらしいです）についてお話を伺ったのですが、春や秋の一時期だけ発生する自然豊かな地域ならではのものだそうです。 私たちが泊まった時期はまったく気になることもなく、室内はとても清潔で快適でした。虫が苦手な友人も安心して過ごせていました👌 やりとりも丁寧で返信が早く、ホスピタリティの高さを感じました。 また季節を変えて、ぜひ再訪したいと思える素敵なお宿です！

깨끗하고 편리하게 지낼수 있었어요. 다음에 도쿄에 간다면 또 이용하고 싶습니다.

This was a last minute decision for us to stay here, so glad we did! The 2 hour commute to the airport the next day was worth it! So clean. Very peaceful. The sauna with the cold pool right next to it was perfect. And having our own private onsen was awesome! The house was really clean and looked recently redone and new inside. Loved it. Wish I lived here!

Yasu was the most thoughtful host! He kindly came to pick us up from the station and was so helpful with recommendations and information. There are adult bikes available to use. When we asked Yasu, where we could rent a bike for our 6 year old, he bought one for him! Our son was over the moon and loved cycling around. We explored many parks, and we didn’t cover all of them. I can highly recommend the Traffic Park, for kids. They have bikes and go-carts for the kids(for free). The house is really lovely, spacious and comfortable. Our son, had the room downstairs. He loved the mini foosball table, and having a huge room all to himself. There were welcome snacks and the fridge was packed with food and fruit! The location was also terrific for getting around. We loved it here, and would definitely come back again!

Loved staying by the Itadori river, the village is by no means touristy, in fact the opposite, one tiny shop opposite the property, a couple of eating places but they were closed, but in saying that it was great to wander round a "real village", spotted a troop on monkeys up at the village shrine, there was also great bird wildlife. The river valley is absolutley beautiful, we loved the small balcony looking over the river. The place was absolutely spotless and vey well equipped. A car is really needed. It is by a road, although not busy there was a little noise in the early morning but I would certainly stay again.

Nous avons passé une seule nuit dans la belle maison traditionnelle de Yutaro. Beaucoup d’espaces à disposition et j’ai beaucoup aimé le côté traditionnel de cette maison. Environnement est très calme et reposant. Merci pour ce très bon moment. Je recommande cette maison.

Chika’s place is so nice and clean, it’s the best little cute house ever, cozy warm and full of love. We enjoyed all the little details of this house! It locates at a very quiet little street, surrounded by a lovely neighborhood walking distance to MTR and convenient stores. My family really had great time here, my kids loved it so much! Definitely feeling like my home@Tokyo, and lastly I am very appreciated for gift and the hand-written warm greeting from Chika!

One of the best airbnb experiences my family and I have had. The house is unique and in a beautiful and convenient location overlooking a river. We walked to restaurants near by and also rented a car. Our kids absolutely loved the house, location, and especially the projector in their room. We would 100% stay here again!

Keitaro and Son's place was a hidden gem located in a very convenient location. It's easy to get to and from main stations via a short train ride. The accommodation itself is very clean, very good for a small family or a group of mates travelling together. Keitaro greeted us and helped us out on several occassions such as linking us the english site for booking storage with Family Mart on the last day. Thank you so much to Keitaro and Son for accepting our booking on relatively short notice.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at Kayo’s Airbnb! The apartment is stunning—bright, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The thoughtful touches and cozy atmosphere really made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect—right in the heart of everything. Walking distance to Shinjuku. It was easy to explore the area with so many great restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby, and public transportation just a short walk away. Most of all, I want to sincerely thank Kayo and co hosts for their warm hospitality. They were incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. From quick communication to thoughtful recommendations, they went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. I have stayed at one of Yin's Kami-kitazawa properties before so that should say a lot about my trust in this Airbnb. It looks better than in the pictures and is a very charming location. There's plenty of privacy thanks to the layout, sliding door that separates the bathroom and shower space, and shades that can be pulled down to separate the desk area from the bed areas. The wifi was great on my laptop, even for video calls. Having a washer and dryer was extremely useful, and the shower temperature was perfect. The AC and heater were also extremely effective. For those who want a comfortable bed, the sofa bed is very cushiony but still firm. I slept on the bunkbed. You can feel the springs in the mattress, and that did not bother me but those with sensitive backs might want a cushion. I slept well! You can also sometimes hear people upstairs but that is the case with many residential Japan places. It did not bother us. I want to stay here again. Thank you for the amazing Airbnb 🙏

We stayed at Toshi's place two years in a row and couldn't be happier. The location is amazing being close to the beach, many cute shops and cafe, the train station and main street of Hase. The place is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully managed with all the amenities you need and more. Toshi is a great host and always responsive, and provided very clear instructions. We felt very welcome and highly recommend staying here!

너무 좋았습니다! 입지도 좋았고, 방도 깨끗했으며 예상 외로 이매니티가 너무 잘 구비돼 있는 등 여럿이 놀러가기에 이만한 장소를 다시 구할 수 있을 지 모르겠네요! 굳이굳이 단점을 꼽자면 계단이 조금 많다는 것 정도? 다리가 불편하신 분은 조금 이용이 힘들 수도 있겠습니다. 하지만, 장점이 훨씬 뛰어나다고 생각해요! 재방문 의사가 강합니다!!

Adeyto was lovely and extremely attentive to all my needs. The place itself was so well cared for that I hardly needed anything extra. There are beautiful paths lined with flowers and trees that lead to the beach, and walking to the supermarket along these scenic routes and the shore—about 15 minutes on foot—was a wonderful experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway outside of Tokyo, I highly recommend this space!

Our group had a very enjoyable stay. Definitely enjoyed being so close to restaurants and a subway station. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. A nice cozy home away from home. 😁
