Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lower Normandy

Super week-end dans cette jolie cabane canadienne en bois, entourée d’un grand jardin. Au calme, entouré de la nature et avec pour seuls voisins les animaux, tout la famille a adoré cette parenthèse ! Et pour les balades en forêt, un accès se trouve juste au bout du chemin !! La communication à distance avec Emeric a été très agréable: il est très réactif et plein de bonnes recommandations !!

Vanaf begin een warm welkom van Julie, en een warm gevoel bij het binnenkomen van het huis. Een mooi, gezellig ingericht huis, met alle voorzieningen. Gelegen in een rustige, groene omgeving. Veel privacy, grote tuin waar de kinderen konden spelen. De ligging van het huis is gunstig, om te combineren met trips in Normandie. Zoals bijvoorbeeld de invasiestranden, Honfleur. Wij hebben intens genoten van het huis, een ervaring om niet te vergeten!!

If you are looking to explore Bayeux and surrounds you couldn’t stay in a more wonderful spot. The house had everything you could wish for and more - a true home away from home. We loved sitting outside of an afternoon while the kids played. Katrine is a friendly and responsive host, providing recommendations on local places to eat and shop.

The gite is an amazing place to stay and has been stunningly designed. This was our second time visiting and we look forward to returning in the future. Jean Pierre and Chantal are great hosts and always on hand to help.

Dien Unterkunft von Phillips und Annick war ein Traum an einem traumhaften Ort. Hätten wir nicht weitere Reisepläne gehabt, wären wir gerne länger geblieben. Das Haus war so blitzsauber, das haben wir noch nie erlebt. Verwöhnt wurde man sich die fantastische Landschaft und den Blick aufs Meer.

We had a magical time here and can't recommend it highly enough. The property and surroundings are beautiful. And we appreciated how every detail and comfort had been considered. We hope to return one day soon!

Such a beautiful stay at Evelyne’s place. Gite is exactly like the photos and the garden and pool area is stunning.

Tony’s place is beautiful and in a great location. Lovely gardens which are well looked after with direct access to the Seine. It was so restful sitting by the pond watching the fish. Tony was so helpful in all aspects of our stay, even recommending a great restaurant for our first night, difficult because it was a Sunday. The house had all the amenities we needed and more. The bedding and towels were comfortable and clean. Overall a very nice two night stay on our way home. Thank you Tony.

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

Lovely apartment. Great location for centre of Rouen. Host was fantastic. Parking car will test your skills - access is tight for anything but a small car.

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

Cozy unique apartment with beautiful view to an old church. It is also in a beautiful shopping street with pubs and restaurants. The aparment itself has everything you need, and you get alot of value for your money. The owner answers quick and with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

Nous recommandons ce logement: cosy, propre et bien rangé, de la place pour les affaires, bien situé,… Tout est fait pour se sentir chez soi mais en mieux. Il y a même une jolie cheminée électrique. Nous reviendrons et avons hâte de séjourner de nouveau au Chalet d’été. Nous remercions Magda pour sa réactivité et sa communication fluide et conviviale (et bravo pour la propreté!).

Light, bright open flat with fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofa living room. Bedrooms were large (we had the single studio next door - separate key required) as well. Instructions were clear, housekeeper was prompt in responding to check in time and inquiries. It is on the 3rd floor above ground level so be prepared for lots of steps (the last flight is quite narrow) Location right next to grand hotel with beach entrance across the street and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Great stay!

Il n’est pas facile de trouver un logement pour une réunion de famille ou amis. Ici tout y est. Nombre de chambres et lits, équipements de loisirs pour les petits et les grands, vaisselle sièges eux tout en nombre pour un grand groupe. C’est propre. Ma jardin est joli , comme la maison. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis dans un espace d’une propreté irréprochable, soigneusement préparé pour nous offrir un véritable cocon de confort et de tranquillité. L’attention portée aux détails était remarquable, avec des touches personnelles qui ont rendu notre séjour unique : des draps frais et doux, une literie de qualité, une cuisine parfaitement équipée, et des petits gestes attentionnés qui font toute la différence. L’emplacement était idéal, nous permettant de découvrir facilement les merveilles des environs tout en profitant d’un cadre paisible. Chaque moment passé ici a été un pur bonheur, et nous repartons avec des souvenirs inoubliables. Merci pour cet accueil chaleureux et pour avoir fait de notre séjour une expérience mémorable. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter et recommandons vivement cet endroit à tous ceux en quête d’un havre de paix. À très bientôt !

les + : Maison confortable très bien située et parfaitement calme. L’accès rapide à la plage autorise des belles balades et aussi l'arrivée à Honfleur par l'estuaire. Les deux terrasses sont idéales pour les repas à 7/8 personnes, le grand terrain est parfaitement clos et sécurisé pour enfants et chiens même petits. La route assez fréquentée longeant le terrain ne génère pas de nuisance. Selon le sens du vent on peut être légèrement dérouté par le bruit des torchères du Havre (sur l'autre rive )ou le passage de quelques gros bateaux qui font le spectacle ! les - : si la cuisine est parfaitement équipée en terme d'électroménager, il manque toutefois deux ou trois ustensiles fondamentaux comme les maniques de sortie de plat du four et des grands couteaux de service. Le fonctionnement de l'éclairage du salon est resté un mystère pour nous ! (coupures intempestives). Globalement, la prestation est conforme à la description calme et confort sont au rendez vous.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der umwerfenden Landschaft, dem gepflegten Haus und dem naturnahen Garten sehr genossen. 🫶 Durchweg perfekt. 👍Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder! 🙌 Lieb gemeinter Optimierungsvorschlag: Bitte mehr Stauraum in den Schlafzimmern. Man nimmt ja immer bissle mehr zum Anziehen mit. 😉

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.
