We had the most wonderful 12-night stay in The Farmhouse and enjoyed fabulous hospitality from Sam & Stuart. It is very well equipped with everything that you need for a very comfortable stay. There is a beautiful outdoor space for al fresco dining. There is an enormous barn which has been converted into a games area and is incredibly well equipped with table tennis, pool, darts, table football, a library, and every board game known to man! There is also an invaluable library of information on the local area. The massive heated outdoor pool is such a beautiful area to relax in. With the local church as a backdrop and the sounds of the birds singing in the surrounding trees in the beautiful garden was absolute bliss. The location is a great base to travel from and explore the towns and villages in the surrounding area. We even managed a couple of day trips to La Rochelle and Bordeaux. Thank you so much for such a wonderful and relaxing stay.

We had a great stay. Christie and Jean-Marc are very friendly, helpful and hospitable, they made us feel at home straight away. The gite has all the comforts, is very clean and well equipped. Being able to use the nice size pool is a plus. Great location close to all amenities and a beautiful chateau. We will be back.

Four idyllic days on this island that I love with all my heart, in Céline's house, perfect, quiet, close to everything (market, city center, slopes, beach) and with a peaceful charm. A truly wonderful break

we had the chance to spend a night as a family (2 adults/2 children) in this incredible house with a beautiful garden that the children liked a lot. if we could we would have stayed much longer because we feel very good in this place and it is very peaceful. the hosts are very pleasant and responsive. i recommend it 100%

An unforgettable stay, lulled by the ocean breeze and the beauty of a timeless place. This sea view accommodation exceeded all our expectations: the bedding, of absolute comfort, offered us peaceful nights; the instructions were clear, and the decoration… a real favorite! Elegant and warm, it perfectly embraces the light of the open sea. But what will remain engraved is this view. Every morning, opening the shutters to the vast blue expanse was a rare, almost surreal luxury. It was our first time in a home with a sea view, and surely not the last. Thanks for the moment of grace.

This stay was a gift for my parents. We had already done this and we had the idea to offer them. Like us , they thought the place was atypical and amazing. A soothing and easy-to-reach place. A clean and well-equipped place. Nearby there is Saumur and the zoo to visit. the area is very friendly. And thank you again to the responsive hosts whose access details are clear

Gorgeously located gem in the heart of Cognac, this is a super apartment ideal for enjoying the areas beauty - perfect for long strolls, accessible to Cognac's best eateries and only a stone's throw from the famed distilleries.

The accommodation is perfectly in line with the listing description, clean, well-equipped, very cozy and ideally located in relation to the center of Niort and nearby shops. It was exactly what we were looking for. Communication with the host was easy and responsive. We had a great stay and highly recommend this place.

The apartment was a perfect place for our short stay in La Rochelle with an early morning train to catch. Bathroom robes were such a lovely touch and much appreciated after a busy day around. We loved our apartment. It was very clean, comfortable, and right next to the beautiful Perigueux Cathedral. Parking on the street was very easy. The apartment met every need. The bed was great, and the area was quiet. The best was the responsiveness of the management team….they were quick, kind and professional. We had a minor issue with the Wi-Fi, and it was managed immediately. We managed those 13th century stairs, and we are in our early 70’s! Highly recommend, and would book again with this management team. I feel like we stayed in a very unique property. Thank you for a great stay.

What a gem! The Red House sits perfectly nestled in the picturesque, quaint medieval village of Chinon with close access to restaurants, shops, and parking at the bottom of a sloped cobblestone street. From the door of the lodging you can walk up to the fortress in about 5 minutes! We were charmed by this historic home and comfortable during our stay. The rooms were clean, well appointed, and provided for all of our needs. Please note that the staircase to get up to the Airbnb is steep and uneven.

This is the perfect location (for 2 people) close to the coast and a few kilometers from La Rochelle. The house has a private small garden, is very tastefully decorated and the kitchen is equipped with good kitchen appliances. Two bicycles are available for trips in the area. Axel is a very attentive host, who is always available for questions or any problems. Recommended!

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!
