We enjoyed our stay at the lovely house. Our highlight was for sure the lovely living area with its huge windows to watch the ocean and the arriving planes as well as fabulous whirlpool :)

I had a fantastic New Year in a beautiful Nordic family home. Jön's accommodation was beautiful and a wonderful resting place. It was fantastic to stay here in Iceland.

Great home! Very stylish and comfortable. We felt very at home here. The hot tub was a great place to relax at the end of the day.

Great communication, beautiful home. We had everything we needed. Views were amazing. Close to lots of stores and restaurants. Klara was a gracious host, very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We plan to come back in the summer next year and will stay here again. Gorgeous home! The bathroom and whole house is beautifully renovated. The kitchen is fully stalked with everything you could need including spices. The beds are comfortable, the home is well heated. Everything was perfect - highly recommend and would return again!

I cannot say enough good things about this house. Not only was the home beautiful clean and very warm, but Vera was such a wonderful and communicative host. We traveled with our two-year-old son and she had a crib highchair and literally everything you could think of set up for a toddler so if you have kids, this is absolutely the place to go. There's even a little treehouse with a slide in the back and at night we could sit in the wonderful hot tub and see the northern lights. I would happily stay here again!!

We loved this place. It was nice and quiet. A great home base for our Iceland day trips.

Una was an excellent host, she always responded to our communications promptly. Checking in was a breeze no hassles, her instructions were clear and accurate. Location was absolutely perfect close to everything including shops, groceries, restaurants and bars. The house was truly charming cozy and very very clean. It was very comfortable and relaxing staying there. I would definitely consider staying there if I visited Reykjavík again in future.

If you're coming to Reykjavic, BOOK THIS PLACE NOW!! Seriously, stop scrolling and reserve it. The house is charming, cozy, well-designed, down to the comfy blankets, fluffy linens, and beautiful art. We enjoyed the front sitting room, especially watching the sunset (as much as it sets in May)! The kitchen is well appointed, and we ate several meals at home. I can't imagine what else you'd need. We both slept very well in the comfy beds, and I enjoyed a few relaxing soaks in the tub. The location is amazing. Everything is a quick walk, but it's just the right distance away to stay private and quiet. And the included parking was the cherry on top. Our hosts were welcoming, letting us check in as soon as we arrived, and they quickly answered random questions we had. We were thrilled with our stay in every way. Book this gem now!

We stayed wishing to catch the Northern Lights and we were lucky enough to do so each night and be there for a huge solar storm. We ventured out the first night and after that realized we were able to stay comfy at our airbnb and see them both in the front yard and backyard. The house was spacious and our children 7 & 1 loved the books and toys available. We were offered a portable crib and high chair which were convenient. There were plenty of novels for adults and a variety of books on Iceland. There is a washer and large drying rack, dishwasher, and full kitchen which was wonderful since it is a serene spot you can relax and not run down the road 15 minutes for food or coffee. I enjoyed walking the road to the church and admiring the horses next door. The location is remote and going to parks or the city required an hour drive. Our host was gracious and extended our check out which was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay in Reykjavík! The apartment is in an amazing location — just a short walk to Rainbow Street, Hallgrímskirkja Church, and all the lively shops and restaurants, yet it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night. It gave us the perfect balance of being close to the action while still feeling relaxed and restful. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Reykjavík!

My family of four loved our stay at Helga's home. The place was beautiful and was just like the photos, if not better. Very clean and had everything we needed. Great location close to downtown in a nice, safe neighborhood. We rented a car but there is a bus stop close by. Helga had some great recommendations of restaurants and places to go that you would not find in guidebooks. She was very responsive to any questions. Would highly recommend staying here!

This is a lovely little house in a great location, it was clean and comfortable and the communication was great. The kitchen is very well equipped. Some things to consider: This is not a place for people with mobility issues or for very large people. The stairs are very very narrow and very steep and the bedroom is in the attic space while the bathroom is in the basement. If you are someone who gets up in the night a lot, this is not a good choice. The attic space is very low ceiling, I had to double over to move to the bed (I am 5 foot 7 inches). Again if mobility is an issue, not a good choice. Just a note there is no TV or microwave, and you need to take your own toiletries (shampoo/conditioner). A very traditional feeling Icelandic space in a great location, and for one or even two people a cool space to spend some time in Reykjavik. There is an excellent bakery right around the corner on Frakkastígur 16, it has bread, pastries, juices, cheese and butter.

This was such an amazing place! The views from the back were amazing, perfect view of the city, yet super close to the city - less than 5 minutes to get there! We also had 3 kids with us, they loved the hot tub and exploring the backyard. Loved our stay here and would stay again.

Very nice location right in the center of Reykjavik. It was also quite easy to find parking in the street. The host was very responsive to any issues/questions that we had. Would definately book again if we come to Reykjavik again.

We enjoyed our time. Comfortable bed upstairs. Lovely patio out back. Well equipped kitchen. Lara was helpful and responsive. Easy to take bus into downtown.

The location of the Airbnb was in a quiet neighborhood and very clear instructions on how to get there. Check in process was easy and the place was very clean! Great space and had everything we needed for a few days. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic house! We felt right at home in this cosy, well equipped, superbly located house. The host was very helpful and we were able to leave our luggage earlier than check in time. It is located in the town centre but in a quiet and peaceful street. We could walk everywhere (supermarket, main shopping street, swimming pool, park, museums) all within 10-15mn. It was perfect for a family of four and we feel really lucky to have been able to stay in this house. Thank you again so much!

Bjorns house was perfect for our group of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids). There was plenty of space for everyone and lots of fun things to keep the kids busy. The location is great, a very short drive to the city center. The house is even more spacious than the pictures show.
