Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Reykjavík

Fabulous property and perfect for our family of five. Very comfortable, we felt right at home, loved the furnishings and cozy beds. The location was very convenient to making day trips, close to groceries, and an easy drive to downtown Reykjavik. Nice views from the balcony, super quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

The apartment was very clean and cozy and in my opinion the location is very achievable in and out if you have a car and plan to take day trips in basically any direction. Kitchen i.e. had everything(and more) you need for cooking. Comfy sofa for relaxing after a long day out. Groceryshop is like 150m away and has a good selection of items including own section for vegan stuff. We had absolutely no issues during our residence here and would definately pick this one again in the future. Highly recommended

We enjoyed our time. Comfortable bed upstairs. Lovely patio out back. Well equipped kitchen. Lara was helpful and responsive. Easy to take bus into downtown.

Jennifer was a great host, very clear instructions were given, the place was heated and has one parking spot and just outside the city and centrally located. Will highly recommend the place for a family of four.

The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, even leaving us a handwritten note and it was such a thoughtful touch. also the kitchen was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home. Being escaped from the coldness of iceland, heating worked perfectly, and the cozy, warm atmosphere made the place feel welcoming and comfortable after a day of exploring. The location was in a peaceful neighborhood, and the house was spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax. Staying here made our Iceland experience even more memorable !! Highly Recommended for those who want home-like airbnb. it has EVERYTHING 👍

What a gorgeous place in a brilliant location. We were greeted by the northern lights as we arrived and the views over Reykjavík are amazing. The house had everything we needed for 9 people including 3 children. The washing machine was very useful and the space to dry all our boots and coats was great after a day of waterfall hunting. Would definitely stay again. Marianne was a great host.

Staying here was absolutely perfect for the two of us. Katrín was very helpful in allowing us to drop our luggage early while we explored the city after arriving early in the morning. Her instructions for finding the place made it very easy and simple. The location was perfect- very walkable to many attractions, restaurants, and bus stations. The price was very fair considering Iceland is quite expensive. ;) It was quaint but again as just two of us it was perfect. Kitchen was stocked with whatever needed, shower had great pressure and got very warm. The balcony was a nice touch.

Having a place to stay with the capability to cook was perfect for our trip!

Maria's cabin is out of the way on a small lake. The scenery is beautiful. The cabin had all the necessities and comfortable beds. One bedroom was on the small side, but the main bedroom was large. The only issue was a difference in how America and Icelandic people make their number 1's. I thought the Wi-Fi code had a 7 in it but it was a 1. After I figured that out, the Wi-Fi worked great. :-)

Ásta’s place was perfect in every way! The living-dining room was very comfortable and a great place to read on the comfortable couch. We also got take-out one night and enjoyed the dining table and kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and both rooms have a lovely view of the owner’s garden. We even had a friendly visit from Mandla the cat one morning. There is free parking on the street right in front of the house, which was perfect for our rental car. The location is very convenient, and only a short walk to all areas of downtown Reykjavik. Ásta was a wonderful host with prompt and helpful communication. She provided a great guestbook with lots of information and great restaurant recommendations. AUSTUR-INDÍAFJELAGID was our favorite restaurant of our trip to Reykjavik (absolutely delicious Indian food).ñ thanks to her recommendation. We would absolutely stay again!!

This was a great value for us. Really a nice size with plenty of room for the four of us. I had some questions while there and they were answered very quickly. We also got some great recommendations before our arrival from Amos, very friendly and helpful. The free parking was a plus but we did find that if you arrive later in the day/evening, you will likely have problems finding anything close. Would still definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a nice place near town.

The AIRBB was very nice. The bedding and beds were very comfortable, great black out lighting. The location was convenient to downtown and the local coffee shop was a great option for a quick breakfast. The property was clean, the kitchen well equipped and there was good communication between us and our host.

We had a great stay and highly recommended. The home was perfect for our family of 3. Hosts responded to all our questions and beds were comfy!!! Not a negative at all but if you are a light sleeper, like I am, bring ear plugs. Slightest of road noise from highway in the distance but not a deal breaker by any means. We LOVED OUR STAY!!

Emilia’s place was clean, cozy, equipped with everything one might need for a short stay. It is close to two grocery stores. It was perfect for our family of five.

This was the first time we used AirBnB and it was great experience for us due to the great approach and service provided by Sigridur. The whole process from booking, to arrival, stay and check-out was very easy due to the proactive and helpful communication from Sigridur. The property itself was as described, clean and carefully prepared for AirBnB usage. I would highly recommend staying there if you need a base for exploring Reykjavik and neighbouring areas.

Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

Hildurs home was beautiful and cosy, it had everything we needed and Hildur was very friendly and welcoming. About a 20/30 minute walk from the centre so close enough but not too close which was perfect for us. There was shops nearby and places to eat. If you're looking for a place to stay whilst in Iceland I highly recommend this place, would stay again.

We absolutely loved every second of our stay at Eugenias beautiful home. From the gorgeous exterior to the perfect layout to the sauna/hottub/cold plunge with the babbling stream running alongside. Magical! The setting was incredibly stunning and was truly one of our favorite views in all of Western Iceland. Close enough to Reykjavik while still feeling a world away. How lucky we felt to call it home each day we returned from exploring. Traveling as a family of five with three young children (9, 7, 6) we were also grateful for the lovely amenities (legos!) that made our time at home extra enjoyable for the kids. Enjoying a coffee each morning with the incredible views of the snow capped mountains was such a treat as was a night of Northern Lights! We've traveled to many Airbnbs across the world and Eugenia tops the list as the most helpful, kind, thoughtful host we've encountered. Being able to stay in her home felt so authentically Iceland and made for the most memorable trip!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful cabin! The space was spotless, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning natural scenery. It offered the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience—quiet and relaxing, yet close to great attractions and things to do in the area. The host was exceptionally accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in comfort and nature!
