Kid-friendly holiday rentals in San Joaquin River

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their communication was top-notch from start to finish. They were always quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The place was exactly as described—comfortable, clean, and perfect for our trip. We would absolutely love to stay with them again. Highly recommend!

10/10 would recommend, and if visiting the area again would look forward to returning to stay with Carrie again. Nice, calm, safe neighborhood with optimal privacy. Carrie was in touch the whole time and made sure our stay felt like home. Thank you!!

We found the Hobbit House to be the perfect complement to our Yosemite trip, and it was wonderful to retire at the end of a day of hiking. The outdoor firepit and spa were exactly what we needed. The house is charming and unique in every way! Loved all the LOTR details. Check out the small pocketbooks of American authors in the upstairs loft- the Mark Twain edition opens with a story about Yosemite! We were a party of 3 which worked well, although it made the hot tub a lil' cozy. Depending on how you travel, this might be more of a 2-person place for some, but our motto is "The more, the partier!" so we were just fine. 😊 Lots of animals at the neighbors which were fun to see, and its about a 10-15 minute walk to town. Highly recommend!

Emilio’s place was the perfect private getaway for my family’s trip to Fresno. The interior design was impeccable. The house was spotless. Had all the amenities one could possibly need. Emilio was very communicative. My only feedback is that the dishwasher did not wash the dishes very well at all. Also, the pool had some residual dirt on the bottom and no vacuum for the pool unfortunately. Other than those two things, everything else was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be staying here again!!

Great and clean home, as advertised. We had a family member staying overnight in the Modesto hospital and this was an excellent home for the rest of the family.

Great 3 bedroom/2 bath home that is easily accessible. Extremely clean and maintained. It was a little more than had planned to spend, but looking at other properties available, this was reasonable. Great place to stay and would definitely recommend!

We loved staying at Kyle’s place. Everything was clean and ready when we got there. Easy check-in, extremely responsive host, and a lovely space. Since the location is isolated, the stars look amazing (which was a huge plus for us)! Definitely recommend!

this place is an absolute gem, fantastic location next to resterants and shops and a short walk to a great hiking location. The apartment was great clean spacious and all the luxuries of home!

Great location in the woods. very calm and peaceful place. loved the fully stocked kitchen. Connie was very responsive, friendly and gave good recommendations for Yosemite. The sofa cum bed in the living room was a bit uncomfortable though but manageable. Having dishwasher in the kitchen would have been very useful as we had to do all the dishes before the checkout. Overall it was a good experience.

We visited Yosemite but couldn’t find accommodation inside the park — if you’re in the same situation, this place is a great option after about an hour’s drive out! There’s a restaurant downstairs that looked amazing — we were too tired to try it, but definitely recommend others to check it out. The place looked just like the photos, the A/C worked great, and it was perfect for cooking. The area was a bit noisy, but we fell asleep right away so it didn’t really bother us — plus, they provide earplugs! Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Yosemite!

Nice place.. The checkin process was very straight forward. All the checkin/checkout instructions were clear. This place has 15-20 picture frames of the host and their family members. It didn't bother me much; however other guests may find the place too personalized.

Tom and Andrea’s was a great place to stay for the weekend! Spotless and comfy~ I was amazed with how spacious it felt! Andrea left clear instructions and was quick to respond to any questions. There is many great places to see around that area. We looked at the guidebook that was included and went to Old Town Clovis to browse and shop around. Many cute shops and antique stores to see! We also got to see the Farmers Market, which includes live music, food, and many great booths, that is held there every Friday during selected months! We also went to WoodWard Park, which is only about a 20 minute drive or so and it’s beautiful~ Would definitely come stay again in the future! Highly recommended :)

This was a great spot for our long weekend spent at Yosemite. The Airbnb was in a great location in close proximity to the Yosemite south entrance and centrally located in Oakhurst. Everything was just as described and would stay here again!

Great stay! The place was clean and has everything we needed. Felt very peaceful and the host was very responsive. It’s about an hour and a half drive to Yosemite village, which ended up not being too bad!

Great place to stay for our group of three! Very clean and cool (important in Fresno!) and in a great neighborhood. Beautiful interior design too!

Amazing views of the Pajaro River and Pacific Ocean. Short walk (300 yards) to the beach along a boardwalk or enjoy the views from the livingroom through the large picture windows or deck. Perfect for a couple or young family (the two twin beds in the second bedroom are quite small but my 20 something daughters had no complaints). Abundant bird watching opportunities along with the occasional sea lion\seal and otter.

Definitely enjoyed our stay here. Felt safe in this part of Stockton. Great coffee shops all around

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay! The pictures didn't do it justice - all the upgrades were well worth it and my family thoroughly enjoyed the stay there. My was very responsive and helpful. So glad we found it! Would definitely stay there again.

This place was a great location for a weekend getaway. We had the perks of staying in Mammoth and also being close to the National Parks. We were about an hour from the Tioga Pass into Yosemite Park. The Inyo National Park is about 45min away. I would highly recommend this place and would visit again!

I stayed at Masha's place for a full week of late season skiing. The condo is clean and comfortable. Bonus points for the luxurious shower and quality bed after a long day of skiing. Masha's unit is right around the corner from Canyon Lodge and across the street from Austria Hof restaurant (one of the better places to eat in Mammoth). Check-in, check-out was a breeze. Masha is very responsive and nice. Would book again!

Lori was a great host. She was super flexible with check in time as we arrived earlier than expected. Her home was very comfortable and clean, which we really liked.
