Cozy and peaceful accommodation centrally located in a sunny area. Walking distance to all amenities. Lovely light trails close by and close to great nature areas and mountain ranges. The cabin has a large outdoor area and room for several cars. The cabin is richly equipped and makes it comfortable to stay both indoors and out. Possibilities for barbecue place and hammock in place. Guests must bring bed linen, towel and kitchen towel themselves. Guests will do laundry before departure.

Mountain cabin in Trodla-Tysdal after 3 hours hike

Trodla-Tysdal has been a tourist destination for hikers since 1892. Tourists have to walk for appox. 3 hours (7 km) from Kleivaland parking place. There is no driving road to Trodla-Tysdal. Trodla-Tysdal means the valley of the Norwegian Trolls due the wilderness and dramatic nature. In 1996 Reidunn and Kjell built a tourist cabin for hikers. In 1998 in addition a small private cabin. In 2017 this small cabin was renewed and now it is possible to book this small cabin for you.

Hytten kan by på et soverom med til sammen 2 sengeplasser, bad med dusj, romslig kjøkken og koselig stue med sovesofa. Sengene står oppredde, gryter, kopper og kar er på plass, yatzee, kortstokk. Bose DVD hjemmekino anlegg. Stuen er koselig med en meget koselig hyttestemning, Kjøkkenet er romslig med rikelig med skap og benkeplass. Ønsker du en ferie på Sørlandet helt for deg selv i sommer er dette plassen. Det er ingen andre gjester på eiendommen. Boligen ved siden av hytten har ingen beboere ukene som er ledig. Hytten ligger nydelig til ved Nidelva 7km fra Arendal og 15km fra Grimstad. Nidelva har 3 utløp til sjøen hvor et renner ut ved Arendal sentrum og de to andre renner ut mot Torungen fyr. Det er lite bevegelse i elven om sommeren siden hytten ligger på havnivå.

Fantastic fjord and mountains views

A good place to just relax completely and enjoy the view of the beautiful fjord. Large windows facing the view make the feeling of sitting outside when you enjoy a good cup of coffee in the good chair. A short walk (200m) down to the harbor with a private boat berth and its own boathouse for storing equipment and freezing fish.
