Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Übersee

A quiet, peaceful, comfortable cottage near a small farm, the place has a lot of charm and a rustic feel to it. You can see the Austrian alps from the living room window. We felt very safe and secluded here, and there’s ample room for 1-2 cars. Josef and Helga, our hosts, made us feel very welcome right from the start. The village is walkable, and offers a couple of restaurants and a live theatre, and is less than 1/2 hour drive from Salzburg and all that this lovely, historical city has to offer. Whether your interests are hiking, history, museums, castles or even a 500 year old salt mine, this home in Holzhausen is a great place to stay.

This was the most beautiful and best-equipped accommodation I have ever been to. Beautifully and lovingly furnished with great "extras" such as beautiful hand cream, etc. On the terrace you can enjoy the sun and slowly start the day - a dream. Anja gave us great tips for the area. We will be happy to come back.

We had a lovely time staying here and exploring Salzburg! It was really easy to find the place and get inside - Ray's instructions were very clear and helpful! It's really easy to get to the city centre and the central train station which meant exploring the city and it's surroundings was simple! Ray was very communicative and ready to answer any questions we had! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again next time we visit Salzburg!

We had a great holiday here! You feel immediately arrived and nothing is missing, everything is very clean and prepared with a lot of love, it doesn't get any better! The highlight is of course the large heated pool. The town of Rott was also the perfect starting point for many excursions in the area and you can find everything you need there as well as many beautiful restaurants. Conni and Georg's accommodation is simply fantastic! First of all, the two are great hosts, who are super helpful and friendly! We felt very welcome and can very well imagine going back to this great place! The vacation home is very high quality and simply a great holiday oasis in the countryside! It was super clean and well maintained! Everything you need is in the house, be it towels and bed linen, but also everything you need in the kitchen. In general, it is very child-friendly! We just had a great time here! ❤️

Beautiful chalet with great views. Super clean, well equipped, lovely and helpful hosts, rooms as pictured in the photos. We were there with the whole family and the size of the house makes it possible to retreat. We will be happy to come back!

It was a good stay, quiet, beautiful view

We were able to spend a very nice and relaxing time here again. The beautiful view, three different seating areas outside, garden, terrace, covered barbecue area and the quiet secluded location of the house are absolutely recommended. The surrounding area invites you to do numerous activities. The hosts Jutta and Hannes are friendly, unobtrusive, but always approachable and helpful. Jacqueline is a wonderful host. She welcomed us with a big wave onto the driveway and was incredibly proactive, friendly and responsive throughout. She gave us clear instructions on arrival and the apartment had everything we needed plus essentials for our dog. The apartment was wonderfully decorated, so well that we did not want to leave. The whirlpool worked fantastically with a great back massage function and the log fire made our evening more magical. However the stand out of it all is the extremely comfortable bed and pillows. We had the best nights sleep we have had our entire three month trip. We cannot recommend Jacqueline enough.

Great apartment and johannes responded very quickly to our question! 30 mins walk but we found the bus 5 mins walk away, no 3 and no 8! Salzburg was amazing, will definitely come back!

Sabrina’s apartment was beyond wonderful — clean, cozy, and beautifully designed with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The garden and terrace were perfect for relaxing, and the hospitality was exceptional. Sabrina was kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We felt completely at home. Highly recommended for families and nature lovers!

Nice accommodation in a beautiful setting. We had a great time with our two small children (2 and 4). Despite the fact that it was very hot outside, the apartment remained cool. The beds slept well. Communication with Renate was very good and went smoothly.

We had a wonderful stay at Florian and Sandra's place. The apartment was very cozy and furnished with great attention to detail. 😊 We lacked nothing and everything was very clean. The only suggestion for improvement: a small bath mat in front of the shower, so you don't have to sacrifice a small towel, as the shower door is a little leaky. 😇 If we come to Bad Reichenhall again, we would be happy to stay in the apartment again!

We were for a girls vacation in the beautiful laundry house in Grassau. The place is totally cute and shopping is within walking distance. The location is a very good starting point for hikes on site, but day trips to Königssee or Tegernsee can also be reached within an hour's drive. Lake Chiemsee is "next door" and there are plenty of possibilities there too. The house was super nicely decorated and we felt very comfortable.

Our stay at Roman’s. Was great. 😊 it’s a big home with plenty of room. The pool was fun and the place was nice and clean!! Roman was a great host and responded to questions very quickly!!

Great house with lots of light, spacious rooms and various outdoor seating areas. Beautiful location.

We had a very pleasant stay: perfect weather, great skiing and last but not least a very nice and comforatable accomodation.

Perfect for many guests with pets (dog). Own house and gazebo, very nice in nice weather. Charging electric car with wallbox is very easy and payable directly to the landlord. In the middle of nature, very quiet and very nice view of the valley, the mountains, the Cathedral and St. Johann. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need.

What a fantastically beautiful retreat surrounded by nature! The Suttenhütte is not just a place to stay – it is a lovingly designed home decorated with so much heart and attention to detail. Simply mega. Every morning we were greeted by a curious fox. & the starry sky is a blast.
We immediately felt at home and felt welcome here. It is a place to arrive, feel comfortable. This place gives peace, inspires and invites you to dream. From the bottom of our hearts, we look forward to coming back.

Even though we only had two days, our stay was really worth it. Barbara was a very good host and explained everything in detail from a distance. The apartment handover by her daughter also worked out great. The house itself was as described and is fantastically located only a few minutes by bike from Chiemsee in a small village on the edge of the forest. Ideal for people who are looking for peace and quiet or want to enjoy the beautiful area by bike/on foot. We will remember this weekend for a long time!
