Bauchops Hill Station is a 2100ha working farm where our family have lived for three generations. Nestled in the Mackenzie basin, our cottage will allow you to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of country farm life whilst surrounded by stunning views of the mountains. There is no cell phone coverage, so turn off and unwind -we do have WiFi! Great views into Mt Dobson ski field, 25 minutes to Tekapo & Fairlie. Farm tours available upon request, e.g sheep shearing, working dog demonstrations.

A short 45 min drive to Invercargill. Our homestead provides a full kitchen & bbq with an outdoor firepit to roast (provided) marshmallows. Take a walk up to your own private yoga deck, under a canopy of Manuka trees and take in the lovely view of the farm and beyond. Unwind after a busy trip in the outdoor bath, or with a glass of wine in the outdoor dining area. Authentic farm cooking available upon booking if desired.

Delightful 1-bed barn with stunning mountain views

Come and enjoy a stay on our beautiful lavender and olive farm, with breathtaking mountain views. The Barn has 1 queen-sized bed, 1 sofa bed and private bathroom. There is a microwave, fridge and bbq, tea, coffee, crockery etc You can picnic in the gardens or say hello to the dogs, cats, & alpacas! Breakfast cereals, bread, jams, coffee, teas etc are provided . You can also treat yourself from our range of natural lavender products in our on-site shop.

Koromiko Farm Stay @ Loch Sloy Farm Little River

This is the original farmhouse. It was built during the mid nineteenth century, but has been completely modernised, with a new kitchen, log burner and twin bathrooms, one with claw foot bath. Its view is down Lake Forsythe (Wairewa). Lochsloy is a small working farm, with sheep, chickens, and a small forestry block.

Country Outlook

Entire 3 bedroom house situated on a farm with country views from your bedroom and living spaces. Comfortably sleeps 5 but if required can provide a rollaway bed for 6 quests. We are 3 kms off State Highway 1 and 23 kms from Gore and Tapanui. Ideal base for visits to Central Otago, Catlins and Southland areas.
