An absolute gem!! My adult daughter and her hiking friend stayed here for 4 nights whilst hiking in the Nelson Lake area. They absolutely loved it. It was so cosy and lots of room for the 2 of them. So close to hiking areas, easy parking, easy to find. Washing machine was a bonus. Rachel and David could not have been more accommodating prior to booking, during booking and after booking. Loved our stay. It is all it says on the box and more. So peaceful, loved the Kererū flying around. The fire was what drew us to this cabin. Great on a cold night, so cosy. Lovely easy walk nearby at Hay's Reserve.

Perfect stay. Lovely spot and amazing views. Home provided all we needed for our stay - the breakfast food and eggs was great as we arrived with no food for breakfast. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lisa's place is highly recommended. What a beautiful cottage, many things that make this stay special. Lisa and Matt are wonderful hosts and we wish we could of stayed longer but NZ has so much to see.

It was a beautiful location with perfect access to the rest of Golden Bay! Nothing felt too far and it was always lovely to return to the cozy caboose.

Such a beautiful spot! The cabin is simple but beautifully done. Loved the walks the owners have marked out and the friendly bird life. There’s some pretty frisky sandflies down by the river but they weren’t too much of a hassle up by the cabin itself. I actually did end up having cell coverage, albeit limited, but everything’s otherwise off the grid which was nice and helped disconnect from work. I got lucky and had gloriously sunny days, so no troubles with the solar hot water. Great stay! Could’ve happily stayed another day, which the owners have noted is a common piece of feedback they get and I can see why.

We've really enjoyed our stay in Tarras. The place is located in a very idyllic place, with nothing much around. Great to look at stars as there is no light. The house is well equipped. Craig and Jenelle were super helpful and friendly.

Amazing setting, exactly what we needed for a relaxing and peaceful night away. The outdoor bath package couldn’t have been better! Awesome hosts who went over and above to make our night really special. The added food/salad/wine and desserts from the online store meant we didn’t have to head into the hustle and bustle of QT and could enjoy the serenity of the Box Cart and the surroundings. We will be back and would highly recommend.

Very peaceful surroundings. Private, well set up little cabin with everything you need for a short stay. Host was lovely and helpful and made us a great dinner and breakfast. Just what we needed after a long day's cycling!

Such an amazing spot, Geoff was a great host, had the fire roaring for us when we arrived and walked us through all the amenities and local attractions. Beautiful views to wake up to on a winters morning!

Fantastic would be selling it short! Not only is Brad, super responsive and accomodating, but the location itself over seeing the Bay Area, the outdoor tub (amazing way to wake up) and the intuitive layout inside along with the automation makes this stay an absolute gem!

We had a lovely stay at the Miners Hut. It was the perfect setup with the kitchen to make meals, private outdoor space to relax after a day out on the trails, with the added bonus of the hot tub. The Hut was warm, cozy, spacious and well designed. Claire is great host and easy to communicate with.

An absolutely wonderful farm cottage—it has everything you need! I had such a lovely stay here 😽. Angela even left sheep feed so I could feed the adorable sheeps. I also got to see chickens, a cat, and cows. Highly recommended for animal lovers! Plus, the electric blanket on the bed made me feel so cozy and happy.

We really liked the place, especially the bath at night under the stars and with luck the aurora australis. We had a visit from the friendly dog ​​and we loved it. We woke up in the morning with birds singing and that breathtaking view. I highly recommend it.

Sue’s place is absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful and communicative before and met us when we arrived to explain everything and let us in, it would have been fine had she not but it was a lovely touch. I was working remotely from the tiny house and the WiFi was extremely fast. I couldn’t recommend a stay here more. The sunset from our vantage point on the hill was beautiful.

Vaughn is the sweetest host he loves to start you off on your stay with a chat about how the Bach came to be and it was sweet to hear how much pride he takes in the place. Super comfy bed and so close to walk along the beach. His “bible” of things to do was very useful and we wish we’d been able to do more during our short stay!

Absolutely wonderful way to kick off our adventure in NZ! This stay was cozy, comfortable, and overall an relaxing experience!

The most beautiful retreat amongst singing birds, nature, gardens and the river. We loved every minute of our stay especially the log burner and delicious ambience. Loveday has very tastefully furnished the house with style and nothings been missed. We were there when it was very cold and so we spent time reading books, and chilling - which we never seem to do at home! Both hosts were welcoming and delightful and gave us privacy while also stocking us up with wood for the fire. We will be back and can't wait to experience heaven once more! Beautiful cabin with stunning view and the most comfortable bed ever! A great little hideaway to explore the region. Highly recommended.

This is what i want to stay in new zealand.. live like a lokals with animals and garden. Privacy life at this cabin. I will come again and stay here. This place is far from top town but this is what i want. Not crowded. Privacy and having a good tine with family.

Mags's place was beautiful. The space is well and carefully curated and very comfortable, beautiful sunset views and lovely birdsong in the mornings. The lack of kitchen sink can make it slightly difficult, but the addition of the dishwasher alongside the bathroom sink make it workable. Bed is very comfortable and had great linens and a nice warm duvet. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Wanaka.
