Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Torquay

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

Clean, cozy and well equipped (kitchen, etc). Peaceful location and the extra amenities were great! (Swimming pool, etc). We would stay again.

The pictures don't do justice to the property. Is better than it looks. Spacious rooms, confy beds , cosy furniture, friendly host ...all reviews are spot-on . Is not possible to give more than 5 stars ✨️. There is remote controlled canopy which we used it (was warm but raining for 30 min )and enjoyed the whole afternoon without issues and I am underlining that because U can see it in the picture but there is a table with umbrella and won't pay attention to the rest(when got there found upgraded table ,bigger, square with gravity chairs) No words...we felt straight away like home. Thank you Stephen.

Ade's place was immaculate and very enjoyable. He was very responsive and left clear instructions so that check in was very easy. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Torbay

The property is located on the hillside above the town of Torquay and only a couple of minutes walk down a couple of flights of steps. The house itself is beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you could possibly require for a stay. I would definitely recommend and we would book again if staying in Torquay.

Serendipity is a lovely house with stunning views. Marks has designed and refurbished his house beautifully and very much with his guests in mind. The downstairs is spacious with a very large table so we as a party of nine could sit all together or in separate groups inside and outside. Well done to Mark. He is a very considerate and welcoming host.

This cute little cottage was lovely to stay. Everything the host said it had was there plus a few more things. It was situated in a really good location with easy access to town and harbour. Would recommend to family and friends. I would also stay again.

Great place to stay - we (my wife, toddler and I) visited to see family. Tom’s house was perfectly suited to have people over for dinner and for relaxing in. And it is ideally located both for the shops (a Tesco 5 minutes walk away) and for the beach / to explore the harbour. Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere in central Torquay, an easy walk to/from the station.

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!

We have just come back from a wonderful stay at Harbour View and cannot recommend it enough. The apartment is immaculately clean and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. The host (Gary) is fantastic providing us with all the information we needed in advance and a lovely welcome basket of treats. The view is breath-taking both during the day and at night and you pay for it with a steep climb from town however its worth the trek! Handy underground parking on site was a huge bonus. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing stay.

Great place to stay for two, has everything you need including a well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to the beach and town. Very clean and comfy furniture. Parking was never an issue. Only thing I would note is people live above but this did not disturb our sleep.

Lovely little base for trips to the beach and local walks. The airbnb was spotless and very comfortable - a great use of space, with all essentials provided! We particularly appreciated the little box of cookies and tea/coffee on arrival which was a lovely touch. It's a very convenient location, and it was incredibly helpful to have parking since the seafront isn't the easiest place to find a space! Josh (the host) was really friendly and welcoming, and very quick to respond to questions. Highly recommended!

Chris & Sally are so friendly and helpful such a lovely couple and extremely welcoming …the accommodation was very luxurious and everything we needed for our stay the fridge was even stocked up with essentials so we didn’t have to go shopping when we arrived!! They went over and beyond to make us feel comfortable…absolutely amazing views…We shall have no hesitation in recommending this AirB&B to friends and family…one of the best ones we’ve stayed at!! We had a fantastic time at Daphne and Paul’s place. Fabulous apartment, comfortable, private and with everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay, off road parking a bonus. There was also a beautiful garden, unfortunately it rained too much for us to use it! Walking distance to the beach and harbour, restaurants, bars and shops. Highly recommend.

Just had 4 nights stay in this beautiful apartment with amazing views. It’s modern, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in this area.

Lovely weekend stay at The Snug. Everything we needed was provided, felt like home from home. Great location, 10 mins gentle walk to the harbour. Parking not a problem. Bed super comfy. Kitchen well equipped. Quick communication from Mia when had a couple of questions, would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

We would highly recommend a staying here for either a short stay or long one. Close to the harbour and you don't need a car to get around the town. The cottage is so cosy and comfortable and you have everything you need here. Rebecca is an awesome host and responded to any questions very quickly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We had to book very last second. Nicole was very helpful, answered super quickly and had this beautiful Airbnb ready for us. We were greeted be personalized signs and an Airbnb with a great atmosphere. You can see the love in every detail. Everything is clean and cozy and besides the usual things they provided detailed recommendations for the area, a free yoga class Nicole gives and a lot of small things like coffee, cereal and jam. We definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone staying in the area.

This really is a gem of a place. So stylish yet homely. It is off a fairly bisy road, but you didn’t notice that at all when inside. It’s a little oasis with a beautifully mature garden. We slept really well and would stay here again without any questions. Parking was super easy too.

Another lovely stay at Palmdene. This place really is home from home and so comfortable. Love being able to stare out to see from both the kitchen and the living room. Everything we need is there. Great place for going onto Paignton beach (approx 10 mins) or go over the top and head to Goodrington beach, it will take a bit longer but the views are stunning. Booking again very soon.
