Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Munich

Die Unterkunft ist absolut zu empfehlen, die Gastgeber Irina und Dominik waren sehr freundlich, nett und zuvorkommend! Die Stadt ist schnell und einfach zu erreichen und selbst wenn man nicht in die Stadt möchte ist in der Unterkunft alles gegeben um vor Ort Erholung oder Spaß zu haben.

Schon beim Ankommen spürt man die wunderbar beruhigende Atmosphäre durch die schönen Naturmaterialien. Die gesamte Ausstattung ist durchdacht ökologisch und gastfreundlich. Eine Wanderung zum Auerberg-Feuersteinschlucht können wir sehr empfehlen. Wenn man die Betten in den Hoch-Etagen nutzen möchte, sollte man schmale steile Treppen mögen. Wir werden wiederkommen um zum nächsten Musikproben-Wochenende in Waal wieder Erholung in dieser Unterkunft zu finden.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit im Ferienhaus von Helmut & Paula. Die Unterkunft war top ausgestattet & sehr geräumig. Die Kommunikation rund um unseren Aufenthalt war immer super schnell & sehr freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung!

Our family just spent a week in Chris’s home while visiting Munich and Bavaria. It was the perfect home base for taking the train into Munich (station is a 2-minute walk down the street), as well as day trips we took to drive to Fussen, Berchtesgaden, and Salzburg. The home was beautifully decorated and absolutely spotless. Many extra amenities and items were provided, we felt right at home! Chris was available to meet us in person but we opted to do a later check in to tour Dachau on our way, so he sent me very detailed videos and instructions on how to get the key from the lockbox and how to work the cooktop, lights, instructions for recycling etc. We loved the restaurant recommendations Chris gave and ate at both the local German restaurant/biergarten and Italian restaurant twice each. Both a quick (5 minutes or less) walk from the house. The house worked perfectly for our family of 5 - plenty of room to spread out and room for more. The extra half bath was nice to have as well!

Cornelia was an excellent host. She met with us upon check in to explain all of the intricacies of the home, she was kind and so easy to work with. It was close to shops, bakeries, restaurants and grocery stores. We absolutely recommend her home and would stay here again!

Der Check-In war unkompliziert und die Unterkunft den Angaben entsprechend. Gerade für eine größere Gruppe ist die Unterkunft perfekt. Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurden bereitgestellt. Die Anbindung zur S-Bahn ist mit dem Bus alle 30 Minuten ausreichend. Wer später als 01:00 Uhr aus München zurück fahren will, muss warscheinlich auf ein Taxi/Uber zurückgreifen. Sonst ist Lage sehr angenehm und ruhig. Alles in allem ein super Aufenthalt mit allem was man sich wünscht.

Con Aprile 2025 è stata la nostra quinta volta come ospiti nell’appartamento di Angela. Siamo tornati tante volte perché è un posto magico, lo abbiamo amato in tutte le stagioni. Adesso però la nostra famiglia è numerosa e non potrà più ospitarci. Tuttavia consigliamo vivamente questo appartamento, è gradevole, grazioso, pulito e dotato di ogni comfort. We loved staying at Victoria’s beautiful home. The accommodation was amazing and looks even better in real life. The kitchen was modern and had everything you needed, we had two family groups staying together and there was plenty of space. We were going to stay in Munich but so glad we didn’t as the countryside and lakes in the area were wonderful too visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thanks to the hosts who were very welcoming.

Wir sind "Wiederholungstäter" und waren nun schon zum dritten Mal in dieser schönen Wohnung am Halblech. Wie immer war alles wunderbar - die Wohnung ist sooo schön und gemütlich und die Lage ist einfach einzigartig. Wir haben etliche Radtoren unternommen, ins Ammergebirge, zur Wieskirche, zu den Seen - alles von der Wohnung aus. Der schöne naturnahe Staudengarten kann mit genutzt werden und jeden Tag besuchte uns Mietzi, die Nachbarkatze zum Kuscheln. Einfach perfekt! Und obendrein gehört die Wohnung und das Haus zwei sehr netten und herzlichen Menschen :-)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Andrea's home, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The space was not only beautifully decorated but also impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—quiet yet conveniently close to local attractions and amenities. I particularly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the lovely views from the windows. Andrea was a fantastic host, always available to answer questions and provide recommendations, which made my trip even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Andrea's home. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I can’t wait to return!

My family and I stayed here while visiting the castles. The apartment is so pretty, clean, and comfortable, it exceeded our expectations. Anything you need, this place has it and more. Nicola was extremely nice and quick to reply, always so helpful. The location is also superb, just a stone's throw from Neuschwanstein and a short drive to Wies church and Linderhof. We enjoyed ourselves immensely here and were so lucky the apartment was available. Would definitely stay again!

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und lichtdurchflutet. Morgens konnten wir die Sonne direkt in der Unterkunft genießen, und der Garten bot die perfekte Möglichkeit, die warmen Sonnenstrahlen in völliger Ruhe aufzusaugen. Alles war perfekt: Die Unterkunft war sauber, die Betten waren bequem und mit herrlich dicken, kuscheligen Decken ausgestattet. Der Kamin sorgte für Gemütlichkeit, und im Keller gab es sogar einen kleinen Fitnessraum mit allem Nötigen. Hubert und Ines waren großartige Gastgeber – immer schnell in der Kommunikation und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns sogar Schlitten zur Verfügung gestellt! Eine absolut tolle Unterkunft und fantastische Gastgeber.

We loved our stay—the apartment was even more beautiful than the photos suggested. The kitchen was well stocked, including with some basic groceries (a very nice touch). Our first day was overcast and rainy, and Magda offered suggestions for weather appropriate activities. We would definitely stay here again.

I had been eyeing this Airbnb since winter, when I saw its lovely Christmas decorations in the listing photos. The host clearly puts a lot of thought into the place, and it seems like the decor changes with the seasons. This time, we stayed here as a stopover during our hiking trip to the Alps, and it was a great experience. The location is perfect—conveniently situated between Munich and the Alps. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive—always happy to help with anything we needed. We were also warmly welcomed with a thoughtful gift, which made us feel truly cared for. It’s a cozy and well-equipped space, ideal for families or small groups. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Our family holiday started in Rust, Germany and ended in Munich, we enjoyed our holiday in Germany and this was a great location if you’re looking to travel around the City!

A wonderful place to stay close to Munich! The house has 4 double beds, but can accommodate up to 10 adults. It has a very well equipped kitchen and BBQ. Towels and even bathrobes are provided, so you can enjoy sauna and pool. All with a great Mountain View. We were received with great hospitality. Hopefully we will visit again. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa south of Munich. The location was peaceful and scenic, perfect for relaxing while still being close to the city. The house was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The host was responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet retreat with easy access to Munich and lake Starnberg.

Was für ein traumhaft schöner Rückzugsort mitten in der Natur! Die Suttenhütte ist nicht einfach nur eine Unterkunft – sie ist ein liebevoll gestaltetes Zuhause, das mit so viel Herz und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ist. Einfach mega. Jeden Morgen wurden wir von einem neugierigen Fuchs begrüßt. & der Sternenhimmel ist ne Wucht.
Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt und gespürt, dass wir hier willkommen sind. Es ist ein Platz zum Ankommen, wohlfühlen. Dieser Ort schenkt Ruhe, inspiriert und lädt zum Träumen ein. 
Von Herzen freuen wir uns schon darauf wiederzukommen.

We could not be happier with our stay at Hotel Villa Ludwig. The private villa is an entire private residence which is both luxurious and historic. The staff are lovely and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. They ensured that all our needs were met, were very responsive, and took the time to answer questions and make helpful recommendations. Fresh breads with butter, honey, and jams were delivered to the Villa each morning, and they even included gluten free options. The property is at the base of the Neuschwanstein Castle, so the location is very close to both castles in Schwangau. It is also close to local restaurants and stores. We would highly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Ludwig and plan to stay here again. Thank you to Jessica and her colleagues for making our vacation special and for being so gracious and hospitable.

Die Unterkunft ist super. Der Naturpool ist der Knaller. Es ist alles da, um sich zu in paar schöne Tage zu machen. Die Kommunikation und die Gastfreundschaft von Merlin war hervorragend. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus war einfach fantastisch! Perfekt für eine Familie mit Kindern – oder sogar für zwei Familien mit Kindern – bietet es alles, was man sich für einen entspannten und komfortablen Urlaub wünscht. Die Lage ist ideal für Skifahrer, mit schnellen Wegen zu den Pisten, und gleichzeitig ein Traum für Naturliebhaber, denn der Blick auf die Berge ist atemberaubend. Das Haus selbst ist nicht nur wunderschön, sondern auch ultra praktisch eingerichtet und makellos sauber. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts! Die Kinder waren so begeistert, dass sie sofort wieder hinfahren wollten – und auch wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp für einen perfekten Urlaub in den Bergen!
